On tap @Sam Beer (Rome). Dorata, leggermente torbida, schiuma bianca media, discretamente persistente. Al naso note floreali, fiori bianchi, spezie, intenso erbaceo, timo. In bocca è leggermente dolce all'attacco con finale amaro medio, lungo, erbaceo con leggera radice e spezie. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Solidissima.

Bouteille de 33cl. Couleur dorée limpide, mousse moyenne de tenue moyenne. Bon, ce n 'est pas encore les grandes chaleurs en ce mois d' avril mais cela ne m' a pas empéché d 'apprécier sa pointe citronnée, son très bel équilibre et sa carbonnation explosive. Des qualités qui la rendent quasi- exemplaire dans le domaine de la désaltération. Trouvée à Menin.
Blonde qui tend vers l'abricot, légèrement troublée et avec une énorme mousse blanche à montée centrale, stable et en dentelle sur le bord du verre. Très beau nez de saison avec des céréales et des houblons qui exhalent de superbes senteurs printanières. Belles notes florales et végétales (foin frais, luzerne, œillet, rose, tulipe, lavande, jasmin, verveine...), caramel léger, candi, cassonade, miel de fleurs, tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un très agréable moment ! La bouche est souple avec beaucoup de corps et de texture, l'alcool est probant pour un 5%, levures nettes et denses, pas trop de sucres afin de conserver légèreté et fraicheur et petite amertume de circonstance forte agréable. Deuxième gorgée avec de la noix fraiche en rétro-olfaction ainsi que du bois blanc brut et de la feuille d'automne. La troisième est la plus belle car elle offre un équilibre splendide entre l'amertume, les notes maltées, boisées et florales. La longueur est bonne, largement portée par les notes végétales et l'amertume, tandis que le final laisse principalement les arômes en fond de langue avec un léger tapis au palais. Conclusion, une excellente saison avec des arômes qui correspondent exactement au style. Elle n'atteindra pas l'excellence de la Surfine Dubuissons, mais elle n'a pas à rougir ! Aangenaam hoppig bier lichte citrus, brood licht bitter. Fris drinken.
33 cl. Blonde un peu trouble avec la mousse blanche abondante. Superbe nez floral et herbeux, un peu sur le fruit, le grain, le pain et quand la beer est plus chaude, je sens effectivement le sureau. Bouche effervescente aux saveurs de biscuit, de citron, de malt + poivre avec finale seiche et une moyenne amertume. Beau produit de chez Cazeau.
Bottle from Les Fleurs. Cloudy yellow with a solid head. Aroma of bread and yeast. Flavour is apple bread, dry yeast, wood on a light pepper finish.

At De Republiek, Bruges. Pours hazy dark yellow with a minimal, white head. The aroma contains hops, yeast, sugar, herbs and flowers. It tastes light flowery sweet and light herbal bitter, with a dry finish. Medium body, lively carbonation, slick texture. I like the flowery accent but it lacks some more character, whilst the carbonation is overdone...
Pours a clear golden body with a thin head. Flowery aroma of hops. Taste is flowery hops and some subtle funk.

Looks: Clear light golden colour with a ring of dirt like yeast sediments; Three finger head with long lasting crumpety white foam; Beautiful sticky lacing with active slight carbonation.
Aroma: Very fragrant full malt, with strong sweet floral, blueberries, sugar, wood, spices, light herbs, dry biscuits, yeast, lemon and fair grass.
Taste: Mid to light sweet full Pils malt, with strong floral, very light molasses, spices, strong earth, tobacco, strong herbs, dry biscuits, strong yeast, lemon, strong bitter hops and grass.
Body: Medium body. Dry, thick and very creamy palate.
Mouth Feel: Rich Pils maltyness in a thick background, very creamy and smooth. Sweetness is only a hint, as bitter floral and strong hops dominates - very herbal, woody , tobacco and spices - to blend well with dry biscuity and very lemony finish. Very nice!
Hoppiness: Wood, spices, light herbs, lemon and fair grass in nose. Strong floral, spices, strong earth, tobacco, strong herbs, lemon and grass in taste; Bitterness is strong for a lasting, high astringent herbal malty finish.
After Taste: Dry. Creamy, earthy woody and strong bitter to mouth.
Comments: This one has impressive heads and looks, sweet floral and woody aroma, creamy body but more surprisingly, a very low sweet, strong bitter hoppiness with all the earthy tobacco taste came through. It has that conservative old lady feel to it. Very nice already but a little more sweetness will go a long way for sure. One for Summer!
En boutelle. Dorée, peu de mousse. Nez discret légèrement herbacé. Ronde en bouche, franche amertume, pétillance et fin de bouche de fleur de sureau qui lui apporte toute son originalité. Délicieuse et rafraîchissante.
Bu au festival brassicole de tournai.
Verre de 12,5cl.
Couleur jaune pâle , pas de brillance et trouble .
Mousse qui est abondante mais qui redescend assez rapidement.
Au nez : note céréales et sucre (fleur de sureau).
En bouche : pas de surprise c’est rond en bouche , note de sucre , et de céréales orge et malts .
Moelleuse et structurer mais sèche en fin de bouche . Rafraîchissement garanti .

Nez sur la levure
Bière levurée avec un goût de malt juste raffraichissante.
Robe blonde pâle un peu pastel, claire, peu de mousse, mauvaise rétention. Nez très clair sur les fleurs de sureau, notes végétales, herbeuses, c’est frais. Petit citronné. Attaque sur une amertume végétale très tranchée. Le sureau se dégage également à l’attaque. Bouche franchement houblonnée, végétale, herbeuse et terreuse. Légèrement poivrée. Final toujours amer avec une astringence assez importante (zeste,peau d’agrume). Bière très sèche, arôme intéressant de sureau. Astringence un peu trop forte pour une faire une saison facile de soif. Déséquilibre sur l’amertume.
White foam full lasting head. Golden colour. Aroma is hoppy with apple and pear notes. Flavor is moderately hoppy with pear and apple tones, slightly citrusy and spicy, ending in a gently sour finish, light to medium bodied.
Robe jaune pale trouble, mousse blanche moyenne qui se tient bien. Nez de levure, légèrement sureau, levain. Attaque acide et sûre, sur les baies de sureau, assez prégnant, notes de lvures et céréales. Corps léger, carbo moyenne. Je trouve que les baies de sureau sont trop présentes, mal équilibrée, pas vraiment le genre de bière que j’apprécie.
Bottle. Hazy golden and effervescent with a large off white head with good retention, lace and regeneration. Dry green plants, flowers, dry grass, hay and elderflower in the nose. Lots of elderflower in the flavour with dry green plants, dry grass and flowers too. Lively carbonation, low sweetness, fine bitterness, dry finish. I am not a big fan of elderflower and in this case it comes of a bit vegetal combined with the other flavours.

Proefglas op Bloesembierentasting van H.O.P. in ’t Rusteel te Gullegem U: Wazig strogeel met witte schuimkraag. G: Vlierbloesem, wat pilsmout en een hint van gist. S: Moutzoetig, licht bittere hoppigheid. Droge afdronk met vlierbloesem.
M: Medium carbonatie, licht uitgevallen body.
Bottle at the Hemelvaart Bier Café in Ayton. Hazy straw with a frothy white head. Aroma of yeast with light lemon. The taste has lemon meringue pie before peppery spice and a clean bitter finish. Refreshing.
A light yellow, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has grain, some fruitness and spicyness, also some earthy sourness. Taste has grain, herbs, earthyness, sourness, quite dry. Lihgt+ bodied, refreshning. The sour and herbal saison.
330ml bottle at Jamey’s. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma and taste are hoppy, flowery. Very similar to Belgian Triple, but less alcohol.
Pours a hazy light copper colour with a white head. Smells sweet and floral, and tastes the same. Not bad, but not interesting.
Bottle - Light Perfumy notes and wet grass. Hazy gold with a decent white head. Light grassy and peppery notes with a nice finish. Reminds me of what saisons are supposed to like.
330mL bottle, pours a hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out floral notes, Belgian yeast, and light hay. Flavour is quite complex, with Belgian yeast, hay, and light floral notes. Quite a bit better than expected -- like a traditional saison should be. Solid stuff.
A bit darker than golden, quite hazy. Huge and frothy but not very stable head, some lacing. Aroma is fruity (melon, exotic fruits) and flowery with a hint of spiciness. Not very bright. Taste is a bit more vivid. Sweet entrypoint with exotic fruits, lemon and flowers, herbal freshness, again a bit of spiciness in the background. Slight earthy in the finish, which is dry with a touch of bitterness. Light and easy body with a good amount of carbonation, smooth but still pleasantly lively. Fairly good
Toebel goudblond met wit schuim. Geur: Fris en fruitig, bitter, vlierbloesem en wat moutzoetig. Smaak: bitter, citrus. Goede koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: bitterig. Zomerse dorstlesser.
Pours a fairly hazy holden with a medium white head that leaves super nice lacing. Nose is of pink peppercorn, flowers and other kinds of pepper (green?). Taste is of slight dill, more pepper and completely dry. Moderately bitter. Body is light to medium and carbonation moderately high. Crackery cereals in the finish. Good rusticity. Overall a nice saison with just enough elderflowers so that they are noticeable but not too much where you’d get straight pickle juice.
