Celt Experience Bronze

Celt Experience Bronze

Cask; Regular. Also available bottled.
This organically crafted ale has a delightful rich bronze colour and is distinguished by a full bodied character with crystal maltiness. A lovely delicate sweetness soon develops into a long hop finish through the traditional blend of hops. Drinkers will enjoy the real traditional values of this great smooth ale. This beer is named after the Bronze Age Celts. Recent discoveries in Bavaria have shown Celtic tribes were brewing as far back as 800 BC. The name Bracis-Curmi (malted beer) traces back to the ancient Celtic language or proto-celtic, an age where Celts were some of the first beer producers in Europe.

3.0 Botella de 50 cl, adquirida en Cerveceria Internacional. Color ambar. Sabor a malta, lupulo, con regusto a caramelo.
3.7 Copper, bronze pour. Great looking frothy head. Citrus hoppy nose. Malty. More subtle hops flavor. Not much of a finish but pretty drinkable.
3.4 Malzig-fruchtig, frisch & leicht karamellig. Ale-aromatisch, süffig, gut. Sehr lecker!
3.4 Bottle. Light amber body, tall to medium head. Aroma has moderately fruity hops. Taste has mildly fruity and dry hops with some tangerine and some caramel. Generously hoppy finish. Nice but quite similar to other ales from this brewery.
3.3 Rating #989 - February 17, 2014 - 1oz sample, portfolio tasting. Clear bronze coloured pour with a frothy, thick white foam with very good retention. Smell is sweet malts, a little grainy. Taste is bold hops, malts, and a herby kind of sweetness with that crisp, bitter finish. Hoppy enough to get almost on an APA type train, but very pleasant for a bitter.
3.2 500ml bottle. Hazy orange copper body. Massive, tedious fluffy off-white head. Has a dry, grassy, earthy hoppiness. Considering this one is a few days past its expiration and made the trek across an ocean and around distribution, it has held up pretty well. On the fuller side of medium bodied. Chewy, nutty malt notes. Decent
3.7 Nice taste. Caramel and chocolate malts are joined by an assertive hoppy bitterness that lingers throughout the finish and a subtle buttery note with a tinge of grapefruit and pepper.
3.1 Ins Glas ergießt sich ein bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, Karamell, fruchtig. Geschmack trocken fruchtig, malzig, Karamell.
2.8 Pours an unclear amber. Good sized rocky off-white head, good lace. Aroma is malty, herbal, floral. Flavor is initially sweet. Medium body. Finish is sort of herbal spicy hoppy, moderately dry. Toasty. Mild bitterness. Finish overstays its welcome. Not my thing. Better in gulps.
2.8 Sweet malty, a little syrup, floral. Taste starts out fairly light and sweet, finish is herb and hoppy, fairly hoppy. A little toasty/biscuit.
3.8 Had this before mylast tick, apparently my other review didn’t register.. Nice orange amber hue, large head. Smell is herbal. Flavor is fruity, herbal, cutting bitterness. 1.99 a botle just before its best by date.
3.4 Bottle.Copper colour with small White head.Aroma is malty and sweet with flavor of caramel and pine, nice fresh long taste and note of Herbs and fresh hops.
3.7 Bottle from Malt & Vine (BB 02.18.2014) Pours translucent light amber with a creamy frothy off-white head. Aroma of light toasty malt with some hop that could be floral, grassy, herb - hard to get it. Med body. Frothy carb. Starts with toasty malt, goes bitter, and the hop suggests floral and herb. Maybe a bit earthy as well. Bitter it is! Good tasting brew.
4.0 Bottle. Very malty; caramel, cherry and honey in the aroma. Taste is sweet, with good length.
3.4 17th December 2013 Bright clear amber beer, tidy off white head. Palate is crisp and semi dry. Smooth and light malt with a streak of bitter toffee and a touch of malt cream. Reasonable hops - light grassy pine and bitter marmalade. Finishes dry with a bitter linger, Well joined up.
2.2 Skunked bottle. Darkish amber with small thin head, but lots of lacing. I’ll try to find another sample, as this would otherwise appear to be a good brew.
3.3 Copper color , small white head. Aroma is malty sweet , floral . Taste of malt , caramel with floral notes and good hoppy bitterness.
3.4 Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; light copper pour with foamy white head, slight hop and malt aroma, taste has caramel mild pine aroma, moderate bitterness.
3.3 From the stubby bottle stamped 09-09-2013. The color is a slightly cloudy light amber to golden tone. The aroma has a full malty character to it with earthy hops and a vague sweetness that is offset by a kind of aged presence. I am reviewing this past its expiration date. The body is creamy and medium. The taste tends to lean sweet with a moderate bitter character toward the end. But the sweetness lingers longer than the bitterness.
Smart & nice labeled 500ml bottle brought from L´Espumossa (Barcelona). Wine glass. Orangish amber color, veiled appearance. White froth creates a close & lasting crown that leaves a thin layer on top & some lacing on sides. Crystal malt, tangerine, ripe fruit & slight herbal aromas. Toasted & fruity upfront then slight citric & earthy bitterness arises. Medium to full body. Moderate carbonation. Funny palate. Earthy & slight resinous touches mixed with soft astringency linger into a long bitter finish. Citric aftertaste. Good job !!
3.3 500ml bottle (Drink Shop, Tallinn) Nice grainy aroma, husky. Deep brown, persistent loose head. Full sweet malty body, pleasant husky bitterness, quite undergrowthy. Long earthy finish. Drying but in a way that leaves you wanting more. Fills out as it warms, smooth, but pleasant carbonation. Maybe a bit too earthy, but a good dark UK bitter.
3.5 500ml bottle. Dark amber color. Medium size, white head, stays. Good lacing, looks good. Floral hops, sweet, malty, faint raisins in aroma. Straws, bit of hay, malty flavor. I like it.
4.2 Amber in color with a white head. A floral bitterness with caramel and floral notes.
1.9 Aroma of mandarin, pomelo and slightly malted. Red with small head. It has an unpleasantly taste of bitter grapefruit. Sticky with a light body.
2.9 Pours copper with a bubbly white head. Taste is medium bitterness, with a fair bitter finish.
3.1 Dark bronze/copper in colour. Faint hoppy aroma. The beer starts sweet but this quickly disappears behind a significant hoppy hit. This continues for some time leaving quite a bitter aftertaste. Ok but a pint’s enough.
3.8 Rich caramel and nutty malt aromas and grassy hop aromas. Slightly hazy light amber coloured beer with a frothy white head that didn’t last long. Tastes sweet and fairly bitter. A full bodied beer with a creamy texture and soft carbonation. Great ale full of flavour.
3.4 Tallahassee, Fl - Killearn Liquors - 500 ml WWI hand grenade shaped bottle. Pours a slightly murky dark copper, with a tight white head that sticks around a while. Aroma has some to jam accents, some overripe peaches. Flavor has a nice subtle bitterness to it with a hint of light citrus, some apricot like fruitiness, some date-like goodness. Nice smooth mouthfeel. Solid session material.
3.2 Bottle from Rema 1000 - Amber pour with a thin bubbly off white head. Malty, caramel, nutty with a surprising hoppy finish. Ok.
3.6 A mild, but wildly fruity aroma - dominated by blueberry esters, undertones of sweaty UK yeast. Great packaging, potato masher-style brown bottle, clean gilt label. Tea colored, lightly hazy, frothy eggshell head. Clean, session bitter. Mild fruit tones (blueberries again), a little tannin/cypress, very lightly bittered, moderately sweet. Good acidity, very light vanilla on the backend, medium body, proper carbonation. This isn’t going to set the world on fire - the aroma was the single most distinguishing characteristic - but it’s a really nice session pint. Killearn Liquors.
