4.0Bottle 355ml at home. From Beerdome. Pours black with beige head. Aroma and taste have roasted malts, bourbon barrel, chocolate, molasses, sugar, caramel. Full body, soft carbonation, sweet finish finish with nice bourbon flavor.
4.02017 bottle from Holiday Market. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of quickly dissipating beige head. Lots of dark fruit in the aroma...plum, raisin. As it warms light cinnamon, booze, vanilla, espresso and oak aromas come out. Dark chocolate on the palate with coffee, oak and fruit. Some marzipan notes as well, but not overly cloying or sweet. Warming finish with cinnamon, coffee and light vanilla. Maybe a touch old at 2 years but still very enjoyable.
4.0Cervezon con espuma beige que desaparece rápido. Deliciosos sabores maltosos más dominando el cafe que el cacao. Ciertos toques licorosos sin lugar a dudados debidos al añejamiento en bourbon. Una de mis favoritas
3.6Interesting but it it with the hype? Aroma of noble yeast, cherRy and green coffee beens and caramel. Pours dark- it's a stout... taste of caramalt and dark, roasted cherry jam. Not too heavy. Good but no aha moment.
Cervezon.
3.8Dark brown, almost black. Brownish white head, two fingers, good retention, some lacing. Some carbonation when exposed to the light. In fact, it's rather fizzy in mouth -this does not fit the style but doesn't disturb me-. After a while, it's oilier. Nose shows lots of vanilla beans, rich bourbon, chocolate, treacle, wet oak. Taste is almost the same with lots of rich bourbon giving impressions of vanilla beans, chocolate and treacle; dried fruits, fudge, wet oak. Almost sweet with a good dose of bourbon at the end. Can't find any roasted notes, so this could pass as a Strong Ale. Hot in aftertaste because of the alcohol -which is well integrated but gives an impression of spicy heat mixed with boozy notes-. Lots of heavy bourbon in aftertaste. Tasty, good one. I like this profile. Would like to know which bourbon barrels they've used.
3.8Pitch black color. Very big bourbon, on the edge of maple-eque like character in the nose. Light medium body, the barrel character is nice with excellent coffee, brandy, bourbon, warming. Again the carbonation was a bit off for the style. Still really nice
3.4Thanks Virby44! Taster showing amber-brown with sparse latte colored foam.
The nose shows intense notes of maple syrup with light bourbon.
The palate is light bodied and well carbonated. Malty sweet (mildly cloying) with a tea-like bitterness and a mild bourbon background throughout.
4.0355ml bottle, 2017 vintage. Pours black with a thin beige head. Aroma of bourbon, roast malts, chocolate. Taste of bourbon, chocolate, vanilla, roast malts, dried fruit, caramel, bittersweet and boozy finish. Medium body and carbonation.
3.7Bottle back in the day, dark brown, almost black with a smaller beige head. Nose and flavor of mocha, bourbon, cinnamon, fudge, dark malt, ash, and oak. Booze is well hidden for 9.5 percent. Medium bodied
4.5Black colored beer with a small white cup.
Tastes of bourbon whiskey, wood, vanilla, chocolate, creamy, dried fruit, coconut.
Very good!

4.0Tight bubbly tan head left a collar on a jet black still body.
Whisky, vanilla, lactose & dark spirits aroma.
Full bodied, oily, creamy, viscous & velvety on the palate with a slight tingle on a clean back.
Bourbon whisky, demerara, sweet blackberry, malt, roasted hints & creamy tastes
4.0Shitload of Bourbon, chocolate, creamy, vanilla, oak, some sharp alcoholic notes, dried fruits, coffee, body could have been thicker imo.
3.4At a tasting, thanks, small quickly disappearing slightly fizzy head, extremely deep brown color, aroma of coconut and freshly cut wood with some chocolate behind, dominant coconut flavor with some chocolate behind. Nice and interesting, just a bit one dimensional.
3.9Bottle. Thanks zvsn. Deep amber with beige head. The aroma has notes of bourbon, alcohol, wood, coconut and vanilla. The flavor is sweet and mild bitter with notes of alcohol, wood, lots of coconut, vanilla. Full-bodied.
4.54/5/19 (Chicago): 12 ounce bottle, gift from my brother Andy, poured into snifter. Very generous, creamy and bubbly tan head, holds very well,, leaves generous lacing. Dark black texture. Very strong and pleasant bourbon aroma, roasted malt, very nice. Nice blended bourbon taste, strong upfront. Roast malt backs the bourbon well, cocoa as well. Creamy texture, carbonation holds well, easy smooth drinking. Bourbon stronger as beverage warms, though not overpowering. Overall outstanding bourbon stout, thank you so much Andy!
3.9Bottle. Brown black with a beige head. Bourbon, coconut, vanilla, oak and chocolate aromas. Sweet, molasses, chocolate, coconut, vanilla, bourbon, barrel, warming alcohol. Full-bodied, oily. Great.
4.1Bottle. Dark brown color, dark yellow foam. Sweet aroma, bourbon barrel, vanilla, bourbon, pastries, candied fruits, chocolate with dried fruits. Taste: sweet, vanilla and bourbon, caramel, a little butter, alco is hidden, very good.
3.612 oz bottle @Luppolo Station (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma beige media e persistente. Al naso note di bourbon, caffè, vaniglia, cioccolato, legno. In bocca ha un attacco dolce con amaro finale leggero. Corpo leggermente inferiore alle attese, carbonazione medio-leggera. Buona, ma mi aspettavo di più.
3.6Vintage 2017. Dark brown colour, almost black, minimal head. Aroma is bourbon, cherry, vanilla. Medium bitterness, no sweetness. Lively carbonation, too high. Feels a bit thin. Alcohol burns a bit. Wasted potential.
4.0Deep brown. Intransparent. Beautiful creamy beige-coloured head. Nose: barrel, roast, vanilla, coffee. Medium body. Taste: dryish, well-atenuated, classic BA impy. Good
3.9Piana sycząca, szybko opada do firanki jak na espresso. Barwa ciemnobrązowa, klarowna. W aromacie wanilina, drewno, mleczna czekolada, burbon... W smaku umiarkowanie słodkie, sporo wanilii, bounty, kawy i tanin, plus wyraźna whisky na finiszu. Goryczka tytoniowo palona, średnia, wysycenie niskie do średniego, lekko szorstkie, dość rzadkie w odbiorze.
Ogólnie całkiem fajny RIS z wyraźnym barrel ageingiem, aczkolwiek bez efektu wow - mało ciała to główny zarzut.
4.212 oz bottle. 2018 vintage. Courtesy of olio. Enjoyed on Feb 9 2019.
Dark reddish brown color with a tiny light tan head.
Cocoa, chocolate, coffee, Bourbon, sweetness, roasted malt and mild bitterness in the aroma. The flavor is Bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, roasted malt, mild bitterness, sweetness and mild dryness. Yummy!
4.1Nice full aroma of charcoal whiskey, vanilla, molasses and sweet malt. Ebony color with a thin tan head. Sweet up front. Lots of whiskey notes, along with charcoal and oak. Bitterness is dry. Alcohol burn warms nicely on the finish with an echo of sweet bourbon. Solid.
4.1355 ml can.

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy beige beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of vanilla, bourbon, sweetish impression, some chocolate. MF: ok carbon, medium body, bit of an alcohol burn. Taste: roasted start, bit sweet, chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, pretty bitter, more alcohol. Aftertaste: very roasted, chocolate, alcohol, bitter finish.
3.9A smooth stout with lots of chocolate overtones. Only light hints of bourbon taste. Very little aroma.
