3.0 Pours a clear copper color with an off-white head that stays a while. Nose is pine and citrus, a little fruitiness on the nose. Taste is balanced. Decent brew.
3.2 From tap at Diamond. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild pine and grapefruity. Bitter, crisp hoppy grapefruity and slight peachy. Smooth fruity and crisp hoppy finish.
3.4 Hazy Dark Brownish Orange, Big Foamy Head That Lasts, Decent Lacing. Not Much Of Aroma, Mostly Faint Sweet Malt And Hops. Sweet Malt, Earthy, Hop Bitter Finish. Medium Body. Decent, Although It is Past its Prime. Drinkable. OK.
3.2 Good, not great. Not bitter or hoppy like most IPAs. Downside is it’s watery and lacks flavor.
3.3 12oz bottle poured into shaker pint. Bright clear orange body with a white head that leaves sticky lace. Aroma is piney, herbal, and citrusy. Taste is toasted malt sweetness and pine bitterness. True to style mouthfeel: medium body, creamy texture, moderate carbonation, long earthy bitter finish.
3.4 IPA 甘さがかなり強い 後に苦味がほんのり
3.2 Pours Amber with medium tan head out of bottle. Good aroma of pine, citrus, and hops. Flavor of watered down typical ipa. Not a fan of this one.
3.2 A cloudy reddish orange beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is toasty malt, floral, and resin. The flavor is the same.
3.2 bottle into glass, a club w.. orange clear pour with hoppy aroma, pine, some grapefruit, nig off white head, pretty ok ipa overa;;
3.3 Location: 12 oz bottle at Frontera Grill, 7/1/14 Aroma: The nose of this onehas some caramel, orange, pine, and a bit of bready notes as well Appearance: The pour is a clear orange-amber color with a beige head and some light lace Flavor: The flavor is along the same lines as the nose, with a balanced and solid flavor Palate: The body is medium, with a solid mouthfeel, and a decent finish Overall Impression: I thought this was a very okay example of the IPA style, but not a great beer. It’s fine, but nothing too exciting.
3.7 Pours a clear copper color with off-white head. Pine, spruce, citrus, and light fruit on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a little malt backbone for balance.
3.5 Bottled. Amber pour white head. Citrus aroma. Taste is citrus with lots of malt and resin. Quite good for a modest abv.
3.2 First impression is malty and caramel. The malt side is well constructed and interesting. It has plenty of bitterness and a nice pine hop profile, with some citrus and maybe tropical fruit. Nothing extreme as an IPA, and usually I’d rather pay more attention to the hops and not get so caught in the malt. Nice beer, but not one I’d go to special effort for.
3.2 Pours a lightish amber with avg white head. aroma is fresh citrus, pineapple, caramel, candy. Flavor is a fruity and caramel malt mix, light bitter on finish.
3.6 Bottle. Pours brownish orange with white head. Aroma strong citrus, lemon, fresh malts. Taste is very citrus, grapefruit, bitter, a good malt backbone. Pretty good.
3.5 Piney hop aroma with hints of citrus. Mild. Nice orange amber color. Tan head holds well. Rich caramel malt, full flavor. Piney hops fade in and then intensify on the finish. Bitterness is not overly harsh. Hints of citrus at the end also. Pleasantly surprised.
3.0 Light hoppy. Milky brown, lacing head. Light milk acidic, citrus, fairly grassy. Good chewy body, dry sparkly. Grassy, citric aftertaste.
3.4 Draught at Spuyten Duyvil. Golden good soft thin head and lace. Aroma is easy candy citrus and light pine hops n a light dry grain spine. Flavor goes mono dimensional bitterness and grain simple sweetness but also lightly metallic. Feel is nice and soft with some cooling but then that metallic thing. Has potential.
3.3 [Bottle] Deep amber colored pour with a slight haze to it. Fleeting white head recedes rapidly. Floral hops and caramel malts in the aroma. Grass, grapefruit and lemon zest in the taste. Flavor notes are balanced with caramel malts and chalky grains. Somewhat astringent finish. No big problems here though.
3.4 12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear copper with a solid off-white head. Bitter nose with citrus, pine and malt notes. Not bad, but I expected more from Central Waters.
3.7 hoppy beer, with pleasant palate. Nice summer beer. Good for 80 degrees on a saturday. Currently watching a documentary on ralph nader. my feet are soar after a long day of work. this is a great beer for the experience.
3.0 12 oz bottle poured into a shaker. The aromas are a touch muted, but I could detect dry citrus and citrus peel, and floral, with some lemon, some spice, some dough, and a very mild toffee touch. It pours a slightly hazy orange copper with a very light and wispy head. A light, thin ring retains and leaves a decent lace. The is a highly bitter beer with a light sweetness to it. It’s dry and oily on the mouth with a full body and an abundant amount of light, fizzy carbonation. It finishes with a flourish of citrus, spice, pine, and resin. The aftertaste is somewhat short-lived notes of biscuit, resin, and citrus peel.
3.4 Slightly hazy, copper pour with an off-white head. The aroma is very mild with touches of citrus. It has a medium body with average carbonation. The taste is moderately bitter with just hints of sweetness.
3.8 Tap at Bricks. Pours clear dark copper. Thin white head with good lacing. A tiny bit of pineapple? In the nose. Flavor is all grapefruit and pine. Dry bitter aftertaste.
3.3 A clear orange pour with about one finger of off white head. Aroma is full hoppy resin, grapefruit, and hints of straw and hay. Flavor is a moderate sweet with a crisp bitterness throughout and a clean slightly sticky finish. Overall a pretty decent IPA.
3.0 Bottle. Pours a clear dark orange amber with a wispy off-white head. Aroma is vaguely sweet, somewhat malty. Medium bodied, sweet, moderate citrusy bitterness, not bad but fairly nondescript.
3.2 Not a bad IPA, but there are definitely WAY better ones. Aroma, to me, is malty. Color is darkish-amber. Taste is malt and pine and citrus hops combined a bit. Palate is a bit watery, with a good bit of carbonation. It’s fairly decent.
3.4 A darker IPA. Malty and toasty on the nose and heavy hop finish. Makes me want the barrel-aged version.
3.3 Bottle pour light copper. Nose pine and some tropical fruit hop. Taste some grapefruit and citrus bite up front. Early sweetness followed by astringent bitter. Long bitter finish.
3.2 botella vierte ámbar, entrelazando abrigos mi vaso. mandarinas leves en la nariz. sabor tiene amargura leve por el estilo, cítricos débil, matices de dulzura. cuerpo es sólido. otra ipa mis amigos.
