4.1Sampled on draft at Quotations this beer poured a vibrant red-purple color with a large fluffy pink head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was strong sweet raspberry jam and artificial sugar. The flavor was strong sweet raspberry jam, sugar and Swedish Fish. Light sour undertone. Long raspberry and Swedish Fish finish. Medium body and smooth. Excellent.
2.7Bottle, best by september 2017. Pours extremely much darker than expected. Very muddy brown, some redness in the color as well. No head. Smell is sweet, brown Sugar, raspberry jam, extremely jammy / Sugary though. Taste is super-sweet, dark Sugar as well as intensely jammy raspberry features. very low carbonation, which I like. of course this slams down easely - as long as you can bare with the extreme sweetness. As a lambic though, this is yet another shamefull release.
3.8Bottle... Pours cloudy and brown with flashes of burnt-orange. The aroma is a marriage of raspberry jam and black tea. Full-bodied with adequate carbonation. The flavor is tart and sweet – again, raspberry jam and black tea. I tried to forget this is brewed in Belgium and is supposed to be a Lambic. I pretended it was simply a fruit beer and judged it against other examples of that style. That's the approach I took. Doing that, I found this to be very reminiscent of New Glarus's Raspberry Tart. I truly enjoyed this almost as much as that Wisconsin-brewed beauty of a fruit beer... almost. So shoot me! 3.8 - BOOM!
2.3375 mL bottle. Brown body with a very small white head. Smells of raspberry and some sugar. Tastes very sweet. Sweet raspberry. Just a bit of tartness. Sugar flavor has some depth, like brown sugar. Medium body. Way too sweet, but nothing unpleasant besides the sugar.
1.7Hailakan tummanpunainen, juurikin vadelman värinen "olut" ilman vaahtoa. Tuoksussa vahvasti, yllätys yllätys, vadelmaa sekä pientä happamuutta. Maku makean vadelmainen pienellä happamuudella höystettynä. Keskitäyteläinen suutuntuma, todella makea vadelmainen jälkimaku. Vaikea tällaisia on arvioida. Hiilihapotettua vadelmamehua. NIin ja prosentteja oli etiketin mukaan muuten 3.5 eikä 3.
2.4Bottle. Pours a clear ruby with small white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is medicine and berries. Thin mouth, cough syrup, light berry, not much going on.
2.7Bottle shared during RBWG. Pours dull pink with a creamy white head. The nose has some strawberry and raspberry purée. Sugary and lightly tart, with juicy raspberries. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish with just a kick of acidity, more tangy raspberry. So so.
2.8Bottle at RBWG 2016. Nose is sugary and candy. Muddy brownish red. Taste is sugary sweet and diabetes.
2.9375 ml bottle split. The beer is a hazy copper color with a white head of foam that dissipates quickly. The aroma has a lot of raspberry character to it, but there is a strong lack of acidity. The taste is sweet raspberry jam. All sweetness. Medium body and medium carbonation. Probably wouldn’t want this beer again.
2.7375mL bottle, pours a murky dark purple with a small purple-ish head. Aroma brings out very sweet raspberries, lots of pithiness, and a light artificial quality. Flavour is like juice, with loads of sweet raspberry juice and a touch of pithiness. A sweet wussy fruit beer that hurts the teeth after a while. Not a disaster, but not great.

murky orange-red, oily white cap. Ultra sweet jammy nose reminiscent of Lindemans Framboise or NG raspberry tart without depth, lightly seedy. Sweeter flavor is all sugar, tons of raspberry and absolutely no acid. Refreshing, zesty carbonation, more a fruit beer than a sour.
3.8Pours a red color with a quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is tart raspberry. Flavor is on the sweeter side, but with a tart finish. Pretty good. I’m surprised by the low ratings, but my experience with lambics is very limited.
3.2Bottle at the DC Expanded Sour Tasting. Shared by Iphonephan, thanks! Labeled as De Troch Framboise Lambic. Hazy golden brown with off-white head. Aromas of raspberries, light funk. Tastes of raspberries, tart berries. Light body with a dry finish. Not too sour.
3.0Bottle pours hazy pink with a white head. Aroma of fruit and yeast. Taste is raspberries and yeast.
2.9From a 33 cl bottle shared at Travlr’s sour beer tasting. Pours a cloudy brownish pink head. Light raspberry nose. Sweet berry flavor. Lingering sweet finish.
2.0375ml bottle. Just another sickly sweet fruit lambic, sweet raspberry syrup, all you need to know.
1.925cl bottle. Again not much of a head on a dark pink pour. Earthy, even somewhat mouldy nose of older raspberry jam made with a good amount of artificial sweetener and real sugar, dullish. Sweet&sour candy approach towards taste: the tartness is close enough to real raspberry, the sweetness that of cheaper grenadine. Worse than their middling ’90s Kriek, i.e. needs to be drunk even colder. I suggest sorbet/granité consistency.
2.1Bottle @ WWT IV, small sample. Cloudy murky purple color, short to no head. Aroma of sharp raspberry, bit soda pop like, bit tart as well. Quite fruity in taste, bit tart, bit sweet as well.
1.5Sample ar WWT IV courtesy of Kermis.
thin pink head. Cloudy pink pour. Some raspberries. Way too sweet again.
1.3Bottle @ WWT IV, courtesy of kermis. Pours a murky pinkish beer with a very small, off white head on top. Aroma is artificial sweet, red fruits with sugar. Like drinking cassis with alcohol. very little alcohol.
1.5Bottle shared. Pours murky red with a small off white head. Aroma of sweet artificial raspberry actually hiding a little of the Chapeau nastiness. Flavor is heavy sweet. Over light bodied with soft carbonation.
2.6Bottle at WWT tasting thanks to Kermis. Murky pink with no head just some bottles. Raspberries, dough, rose petals, hay. Medium sweet with light sourness. Medium bodied. Not as bad as the peach.
3.6Bottled. De Troch Framboise. Pours deep maroon into a tumbler. Pink head with good retention recedes to skim surface. Sweet raspberry aromas. Sweet raspberry pie upfront turning tart before heading to marshmallow in the lasting finish. Yes - it’s very sweet, but it tastes just like a piece of pie... and I like pie.
2.1Bottle: Too much for me. Not sure if I’m ready for something with such a bracing sweetness. Wish it had some more funk to balance that out. Will try again to see if I "grow into it"
3.5Red cloudy with small pink head. Raspberry aroma. Sour rich raspberry (and some lambic on background) taste surrounded by some sweetness. Lasting raspberry taste.
3.3*Old rating, best before 15/05/14. Schöne frischen Himbeernoten über einem leicht säuerlich-holzigem Bier. Frisch, nicht zu süß, lecker süffig.
2.3bottle @ Party Source / Bellevue KY --- Hazy dirty cherry color with a couple of rim bubbles, no lace. Taste is primarily tart raspberry that becomes a little more sour as it nears the finish. Not a lot going on, not a beer, not a lambic, but better than Hawaiian Punch.
3.0Bottle from Salling. Dirty, hazy reddish pour with a frothy pink head. Loads of raspberries, syrup, cherries and sugar. A bit sweet but for the tick it was ok.
3.3Bottle. Dark brown hazy red. Almost fermented raspberry jam, real mushy raspberry fruity. Lightish, sweet, with a balanced acidity. Doesn’t get icky even with the significant amount of sugar. Quite nice, easy light drinkable stuff.
