Slightly hazy amber brown ale with a thin off white head. Caramel, malts, some forest fruits for aroma. Average bitter sweet. Average carbo. Nothing to write home about.
Pression au V&B. Les 8 poneys et demie ne tapent pas trop fort même si le goût de l'alcool est naturellement présent. Pas mal. Mousse assez dense.
Pare promițătoare la prima vedere, dar cu un gust dulce neechilibrat, predominant și cam deranjant.
Aromă ușoară, cu multe flori și dulceață de gutuie, caramelă, note de ceva ierburi pe fundal. Gust predominant dulce, cumva deranjant și cu o carbonatare care o accentuiază, pare un fel de zahăr brun cu puțin sirop de arțar (ca și consistență) și condimente ușor piperate, pe fundal vagă amăreală de frunze și ierburi uscate.
Ruby appearance. Aroma is fruity, malt and herbal. Flavour is sweet, toffee, malt, roasted and bitter.

0,33l bottle. Pours dark reddis brown with white lacing. Caramel, hint of raisins. Medium sweetness, bitter finish. Full bodied.
Klein beetje metalig.
Prima dubbel, fruitig, licht zoet en zacht van smaak en prettig doordrinkbaar.
Lekker biertje zware en sterke afdronk met lekkere nasmaak.
Color rojizo y sabor tostado cercano a madera.
Deja un sabor agradable y al final nuestra su alta graduación alcohólica. Gasificación invisible. Ligera.
Belle bière rouge, effectivement, à joli col de mousse. Douce et vive à la fois, avec une acidulité présente et des notes de petits fruits rouges et noirs, c'est ce qui la caractérise. Amer correct, bonne longueur, alcool discret.

Color marrón, corona de espuma blanca aromas maltosos, caramelo, sabor dulce, ligeras pasas, cuerpo medio.
Tostada muy rica
Belle bouteille avec label jolie.
Pensant que cetait une bière aromatisée je suis resté surpris devant le gout plutôt banal. Première approche en bouche sucrée se terminant sur une note amer houblonnée.
La couleur rouge sombre avec une belle mousse persistante. Effervescence faible.
Elle reste dans la moyenne mais ne se démarque pas des autres.
Bière pression bue au Rihour's a Lille. Vendue sous le nom Charles Quint Ambrée. Robe ambrée qui tire sur le brun transparente à belle mousse. Nez sur le sucre et céréales. Bouche ronde avec une légère amertume, une bière équilibree que j'ai toujours plaisir à boire.

Donker rood bruin bier met een schuimkraag die snel verdwijnt. Smaak is moutig en licht bitter, medium body en drinkt makkelijk weg.
Draught in Tervuren. Ruby red with a full cream head. Aroma of chocolate malt. Flavour is malted fruit, full taste, a little bitter, mostly warm fruit, boozy warm finish.
This beer is brilliantly red and clear. It doesn’t have the belgian characteristics you usually expect. but it is very malty and full bodied, which hides the alcohol well. A rarely brewed kind of beer that is low on bitterness. My style of ruby red ale. bittle from belgian beer factory.
The red colored beer, with a soft texture, good taste, does not have a lot of gases, and have a 8,5 of alcohol. In International beer awards 2013 competition was awarded with a bronze medal.

Paszcza: słodkie, wysycenie wysokie w stronę średniego, alko czuć w przełyku, ciało wysokie, nisko pijalne. Typowy belgijski mocny ale.
Cerveza de color rojizo, con medio dedo de espuma que se va en un tiempo promedio. De cuerpo y carbonatación media. Aroma a malta, frutos secos y caramelo. En boca se percibe un sabor tostado, además del caramelo, un poco de chocolate y también sensaciones de cerezas. Muy rica.
Beer with copper/red color, fuzzy aspect, medium bitterness, soft carbonized, good volume of foam, (drunk a 33cl tap beer with PG at "Taberna Belga 2", Braga, PT #846)(#21 BE).
Bière très légèrement sucrée, plutôt ambrée rouge. Goût doux mais assez acre en bouche.
J'imaginais une bière fruitée, sans doute influencé par le terme "rubis", et suis donc un peu déçu. Une bière brun-rouge, avec des arômes plutôt sucrés, assez forte. Pas grand chose à en dire si ce n'est que je ne pense pas la gouter à nouveau un jour.

Dark copper colour. Caramel aroma, some hops and yeast and plum. Little initial foam. Very good flavour. Some chocolate with dry plums. Caramel not very toasted. Residual bitter flavour quite long. Astringent. Medium body with medium low carbonation.
