2.9light sour fruit aroma, pale, hazy, white foam, light sweetness, lightly sour, sour malty finish.
3.0Draught @ Vices & Versa, Montréal. Pours clear golden with small white head. Clear aroma of malt and hops, with notes of needles and herbs. Sweetish, malty flavour with bitter hints of hops and some bready touches. Sweetish and hoppy aftertaste. Come on, is this a Saison? It tastes like a Heller Bock. Drinkable but nothing really special.
3.6Bottle 750ml.
[ As Charlevoix Dominus Vobiscum Saison ].
Clear medium orange yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat - pale malt, moderate to heavy yeasty, grapes, saison yeast, zest - some fruit. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, saison yeast, grapes, light peppery. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. 4.6This bear is great for a hot day. With it blond color and its sweet refreshing taste, its great for any occasions. A light taste of sugar with a small punch of bitterness, its well balanced. Cheers!
3.5Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity, yeasty and light pepper. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 200615
3.5Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are yeast, fruits, malt, hops, notes of pepper and little vegetables.
3.6Bottled@foenfan. Yellowish golden colour, mediumsized foamy white. Aroma is fruity, some funky and citrusy notes along with mild spicy yeast to it. Flavour is fruity, zesty some sweet malts as well as some toffee to it. Nice mellow bitterness, which is supported by the citrus.
3.7Draught @ Pub BreWskey, Montréal, QC
Pours clear deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast, citrus and pepper. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long dry, yeasty, peppery and bitter finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

3.8Orange and yellowish colour with nice head and some lacing too. Aroma has sour and sweet fruits and some malts. Taste has also the sour and sweet fruits, grassy hops and some malts. Medium body and really high carbonation.
3.9Lovely foam. Awesome malty aroma. Nice and round taste. Great hops, baby! Sophisticated. Spiky and a bit bubbly.
3.4Bottle - Sweet Belgian yeasts, some stone fruit and hops and pepper notes. Clearish gold with a rich white head. Lots of peppery notes, very carbonated and some bitterness. Finish has more pepper, sweetness and bitterness.
4.5Firstly, I’d like to note I bought this bottle in QC. Is drastically fresher than if I’d waited for it to come to Alberta (and a third of the price). It pours a shade of gold with a tight, billowing head that gradually comes down to a nice cap. The nose shows banana and hay, both of which come through in the taste backed up by a spiced characteristic, transitioning well into a moderately low bitterness English hop. Despite a sweet honeyed flavor in the finish, it comes out off-dry by the end. The body is very crisp, and surprisingly clean for a saison. A high carbonation profile might be helping in that, but is no less pleasant for it.
3.8A golden beer, a head is big and blond, strong bubbling. Aroma is strongly aromatic, oranges, honey, fruits, some hops. Taste has strong oranges and flowers, fruits and honey. Medium bodied, nice carbonation. Aromatic and fresh saison, not a typical.
3.7Golden, fairly clean. Spiced, herbal, citrus. Refined malts, less hoppy and less funky than expected, but an honest saison. Drinkable heavy carbonation. Well developed, nice stuff. (75cl bottle from Bière Révolution)
3.6Bottle from Guyon farm. Aroma: banana, citrus, spices, cereals. App: clear pale with medium frothy white head. Taste and palate: creamy medium body, average carbonation, light sweetness with light bitter finish. Overall: a really good Saison.

3.4Bottle shared. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of peppery saison yeast, malt, wort, toffee, bread and cereals. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
4.4Pours clear deep gold with two fat fingers of pillowy white head diminishing gradually to a thick cap, moderate to heavy lacing (4/5). Nose is hay, banana, cloves, slight barnyard, grassy hops (9/10). Taste is moderate sweet, moderate to strong bitter (9/10). Light to medium body, prickly sustained carbonation, lingering bitter finish (4/5).
Excellent. Very much a farmhouse style saison, yet I find it reminds me of a Belgian Tripel like Duvel. Some might dislike the somewhat aggressive carbonation, but I enjoy the additional crispness and sharpness it provides - no tongue coating here. The slight barnyard funk on the nose also turns into a decently sharp brett-like edge on the tongue, making this feel more bitter than its 35 IBU. Not sure I’d want to cellar this one much longer if that really is brettanomyces, though - it might get a little unbalanced. Best to drink this one on the fresh side, I think, and this one was just over six months old. Really very enjoyable and another example of a world-class Belgian style being brewed in Canada. (18/20)
3.8Bottled at SBWF. Hazy golden, mid sized head. Juicy aroma of coriander, marzipan and citrus. Mid dry with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Grain and dough joins the juicyness. Mild and harmonius.
4.0Impressionnante, ça fait presque du bien de boire une bière aussi bonne fait au Québec, Bravo!
3.6Bottle @ ZZT9 shared by joes. Clear yellow orange color with a big white head. Smells and tastes fruity, yeast, sweet and some herbs.
4.0Draft at Tide & Boar. Clear golden color, medium white head. Nice farmhouse aroma of dusty apricots and peaches. Taste is fruity fresh hay, light peppery funk. Very tasty.
3.6Man I’m really digging the DV series from Charlevoix.
Pours a just-cloudy golden with a huge pillowy white head with great retention and lacing. Nose is lots of hay, earth and spice, banana and ethanol - that’s all I can pick up, though I know there’s other stuff floating around in there. Taste follows the nose perfectly, with a nice equal mix of lip-smacking dryness and alcohol warmth on the finish. mouthfeel is moderate with medium carbonation. These guys seem to make the best Euro beers in North America.
3.3Bottle bought @ bierkompass.de. Pours hazy reddish golden with a huge frothy and tiny fizzy offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of sticky trace on the glass. Smell is estery, slightly phenolic and slightly floral with biscuits, banana bread, hay, dry soil, white pepper corns, persimmon, dry wood and hints of lemon zest and sheet metal. Taste is tiny sweet, slightly bitter, estery and phenolic with white bread, ripe banana, black and white pepper corns, almonds, sheet metal, hay, dry soil, minerals, paper, pears and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is slightly watery, slightly dry, slightly astringent and light bodied. Finish is bitter, estery and phenolic with white bread, unripe banana, pepper corns, sheet metal, pears, almonds, hay, minerals and lemon zest. Bit too heavy on the metal phenols and banana esters…
3.7Tap. Deep golden body with an average off-white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus fruits, grain and wheat. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry and slightly bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonaition. A very nice Saison indeed.
3.3750 ml bottle. Pours a yellow colour with a large foamy head. Aroma of grainy malts, grassy hops and some citrus. Flavour is very grainy with some floral hops, pear, grass and caramel. Medium bodied and a bit harsh and annoyingly high carbonation. Nothing fancy.
3.875 cl bottle.
Pours clear pale golden color with a large head. Spicy herbal aroma with earth and some fruits. Strong carbonation, yeast, toffee, and fruits on the flavor, mild spice notes and some hay. Balanced and tasty, hoped for more though.
