2.4 330 ml. bottle sampled by the river on the streets of Zürich. Purchased at Drinks of The World. Way too carbonated, bitter chemical, washing powder, chemical, soap, way too much carbonation. Not good.
2.0 Bottle from a market in Brussels. Medium gold with a solid white head. Aroma of fruity grain malt. Flavour of metallic malt, pale lager, as expected.
1.8 F: big, white, average retention. C: pale gold, bit hazy. A: malty, skunky, grassy, corny, vegetal, chemical, cardboard. T: malty, metallic, bit grassy, irony head stabilizer, bit bready, medium body and carbonation, country tick that’s all, meh, 330ml bottle from Drinks of the World in Geneva.
1.3 33cl Bottle. Gift from a friend. Golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is malt, sweet. Taste is malt, sweet, grain, rice, watery. Light body, average carbonation.
1.6 Thanks to CH-303. Country #104 33cl bottle Dark golden color, white head with good retention. Aroma has light acidic notes, metalis. Flavor is light malty, notes of green apples. Light body with some watery mouthfeel.
1.3 330ml bottle from Haus der 131 Biere in Hamburg. I made the mistake of trying to get someone to bring this one back from Mongolia, where it isn’t actually sold. Pours clear gold with a small white head. Aroma is cider apples, metal, rice. Taste is malt, rice. Wow. Really bad. The beer that I tried that was actually made in Mongolia was a lot better than this.
2.4 Cheers Mat (minuteman) for bringing a 33cl bottle of this to the Feb meeting of the Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group (5 like minded people). Light golden body, usual Pale Lager look, clean and clear with a fast fading wispy white head. The nose was weak, some light maltiness maybe, the taste semi-sweet and mildly metallic towards the end of each sip. Not a great beer, but a great country rate!
1.7 330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Feb '18, courtesy of myself. Pours gold with a light mist, white head. Aroma is surprisingly pleasant, pale sweet malt, some lemon. Taste is fairly light, clean, thin on the palate, bit grassy, some metallic notes. Lacks body and flavour in general.
3.5 "The beer is golden with a thin foam head on top. It tastes it light and sweet with a malty finish. A very light and easily drinkable lager." - beersoftheworldproject.wordpress.com Date: 30/12/2017 Bought at: Haus der 131 Biere in Hamburg, Germany.
2.5 Helle goldene Farbe, schöne stabile Schaumkrone. Leicht fruchtiger Geschmack, gut gehopft.
1.0 Shared bottle, split 4 ways luckily! Pours clear straw with a small white head. Aroma of apple juice, rice, metal. Taste follows nose with some chemical apsects. Polluted water. Definitely avoid if you don't need the country tick!
3.2 Clear golden color beer with minimal head cereal earthy and grass aromas equilibrated taste , medium body and average carbonisation
2.2 Sampled from 0.33 l bottle from 'Getränketempel', best before February 2018. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, a little grassy aroma of grains and some straw. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, rather stale and slightly grassy taste of grains, straw and some cardboard, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly dry, grassy and quite metallic finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Just drinkable.
1.3 Shared with wombat23 and darbeer75. Gold. The head is fleeting. Aroma is aluminum foil, weird additives although this is Rheinheitsgebot. Dry, brittle metallic flavors. Not sweet or bitter, more chemical. Palate is a touch watery, but with these flavors that's a good thing. It's a Mongolia tick.
1.5 Aroma: combination of apple juice and tools in a hot garage; Appearance: clear golden pour with small head; Taste: follows nose with significant metallic finish; unpleasant; Palate: light bodied; Overall: yuck.
1.8 Butelka 330ml. Kolor złoty, lekko mętnawy, piwo było trochę przeterminowane. Aromat słodowy, w smaku lekko kwaskowe, metaliczne na podniebieniu, słabe.
1.8 Chinggis Mongolian Lager Pale Lager 44325 Lukt: Humle og malt. Utseende: Lys gul. Skum/kullsyre: Tynt skum.
1.7 From bottle at shared tasting at Bryne with RB/HD and Bryne fråhaldslag 18.08.17. Clear pale golden. Bright white head. Aroma and taste of dry eurolager and grass. Lively carbonation.
1.7 Clear golden beer with minimal white head. Aroma is weak malts, iron, vegetables. Taste is rusty iron metallic, bitter malty. Light body. Not so good beer.
0.9 Weak, lager aroma. Pours crystal clear golden with a frothy white head. Taste is metallic and lacking. Cardboard. Watery, weak and bad.
1.0 Bottle, shared at THT, May 2017. Actually brewed in Germany. Clear pale yellow color. White head, quickly receding. Aroma’s: vegetal, poop. Retronasal it’s fruity, vegetal. No flavor whatsoever. Light bodied. No finish. I had no idea that they could actually brew really bad beer in Germany. My lowest rating ever.
1.7 Bottle shared at the May THT. Pours a clear pale golden. Straight up metallic cardboardjuice, dusty. Awful.
1.0 Bottle shared at THT May. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of plastic, a swimming pool without chlorine (but with plastic), iron and malt. Flavour is light to light moderate sweet and light bitter. Light bodied with light carbonation.
