This beer is golden in color with a light bubbly effervescence. The light body makes this lager beer appropriate for a business lunch or your evening sipping beer. The light malt flavor also accentuates the hop flavor. From the start, you will notice a fine hop aroma. As you sip the Celestial Gold, the subdued maltiness blends with a slight hop flavor. When this beer finishes, you will notice a pleasant hop bitterness. The bitterness will be mild and quite appropriate.

3.7Split a 12oz bottle. Poured a nice light yellow golden color with a small white head. Aroma was notes of grass, sweet malts, light malt notes. Pretty tasty - crisp and pretty enjoyable. Liked this one a lot.
3.5Listed as premium lager yet has strong hop presence. Fairly tasty and refreshing. Nice, smooth and crisp.
3.0On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear very light pale gold with small white head. Aroma is floral hops, light body, low carbonation, and thin small bubble lacing. Taste is floral hops with balancing malt.
4.0Really nice pilsner; I'd buy this consistently if available in my state. Less hoppy than a lot of pilsners(which is a good thing)and very well rounded.
2.3Bottle. Pours hazy golden, small fizzy white head, dissipates very quickly leaving little lacing. Aroma is corn syrup, grain, extracts. Flavor is much the same, corny, medium sweet, a bit of grassy bitterness. Tastes better than it smells. Light body, low carbonation.
3.2Draft. Clear light golden color. Ave carbonation. Smooth but peppery. Grains. Not too shabby. Just saw Lion king pittsburgh. Awesome.
2.9Pours a clear pale light yellow with a white lacing. Notes of cereal, grass, and straw. A hint of spice.
3.0On tap at pgh beer festival. Pours a pale yellow with a white head. Aroma of bread and citrus lemon. Tastes clean and is quite effervescent.
3.2Light gold in color... Flavor of bread, malts, light spices... Thin body, average beer
3.5Draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear pale golden color with a large off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of doughy malts, caramel, floral hops. The taste is bready, doughy malts, grassy hops, faint stone fruits. Thin-medium bodied, well balanced and refreshing.
3.7Bottle. Poured a lovely golden amber with a light white head. Light carbonation with smooth malt hop flavors. Well crafted.
2.6Draft. Poured pale gold with a thin white head. Aroma and flavor were light malt, crackers, slightly spicy hops. Nicely done perhaps but pretty light.
3.2Super clear yellow color with nice effervescents. Slight musky aroma with a nice malt backing. Crisp clean mouth feel with a smooth finish.
3.5Tap at CBW, its a good clean and crisp lager, I would never describe that I was sipping this beer as i was guzzling it in place of water, but still a good flavor and crisp is really the way to describe it.
3.9On Draft .. last stop of the day- Church Brew Works brewpub; Pittsburgh,PA .. gold .. light foam .. lacing is spotty but there .. light hops, grain and gold grass .. tasty brew!
. .. i don’t owe him anything..
2.7On tap. Pours a clear light orange with a small white head. Aroma of bready malt, cardboard. Flavor of sweet, bready malt. Overall this is a pretty dull lager, better than your BMC but doesn’t offer much else.

3.3Bottle. This was my favorite of the Church Brew Works I tried tonight. I usually don’t like lighter beers, but this one packed a lot of flavor. The name fits the appearance, a golden yellow, bright! Light bodied palate. The aroma was very sweet with a flowery finish that lead into the taste. Flowery perfume notes up front that fade into a sweet grain, kind of like a sweet roll from a bakery, finishing with an acidic note. An odd progression that I liked.
2.8Had on tap at brewpub. Pale yellow pour. Aroma is lemons oranges and grass. Flavor was light with a slight hop finish. Nothing too exciting but easily drinkable.
3.1Pours golden with a thin lacey head. nice malty nose with hints of citrus and grass. Flavor is hoppy, citrusy, and ceral like.Finishes off crispy with a small hop bite.
2.9Pours a nice pale ale. Nice smell, flavor. And taste. It’s a pretty good pilsner
3.3Clear gold pour. White head. Aroma of pils malt, light lemons. Flavor is crisp, lemons, pale malt. Nice. Thanks nbutler11!
3.0On draft at Blue Dust in Homestead. As the person sitting next to me at the bar said “nothing exciting” but overall, this beer was tasty. Golden color, small head that disappears quickly, not much aroma, flavor of grassy hops. Clean refreshing brew, easy to drink. On style for a premium larger.
3.5Draft at the brew pub. Pours a pale gold color with slight head. Aroma is crisp grassy malts with slight hops. Very refreshing taste. Great beer for a hot summer day. Finishes clean and slightly sweet.
3.0Pours clear yellow with thin white head, aroma has some slight notes of grain, biscuit, slight lemon, not much else...taste is fairly simple, some clean notes of grass, earth, some biscuit, touch of carbonic acid from the over carb, but overall fairly tasty, clean, and not too off on the flavors. Not bad.
2.2Pours with just a tinge of yellow. Doesn’t have much aroma. The taste is clean but does have a bit of a metallic aftertaste.
3.6Really an exceptional lager. One of the best I’ve ever had in this style. I may even buy this on a regular basis if I lived closer.
3.0Golden color with thin white head. Mild fruitiness and good balance overall. Not bad at all. A bit more flavor than your average premium lager.
2.4Bought a six-pack at the brewpub. Color is a golden amber with a short whitish head that fades quickly. Aroma is bready with fresh pine. Interesting. Taste is slightly bitter, I mean slightly. The finish is clean and crisp. Average in my opinion, but refreshing.
3.4On tap at brewpub. Gold with thin head. Not much aroma. Flavor is straw and grass. Good for its style but I prefer bigger beers.
2.8Tap @ Brewpub. Light grassy hops & slight toasted malt aroma. Flavor is a bit of grassy hop, some light malt & soda water. Bitter, lightly toasted finish.
