3.6 Hazy amber. Nose of funk, lemon, chardonnay, and green apples. Flavor is oaky sour lemon and green apple. Dry oaky finish. Light acetone touch. Almost over-carbed. Dry, dry, oaky and sour. Pretty nice.
3.4 Bottle - 750mL corked and caged. Cloudy gold with a tall, fluffy white head. Aroma is sour fruit, funky yeast, lemon juice, earthy notes and wet wood. Taste is sour fruit, wet wood, funky yeast, wine notes, tart berries, lemon, salt, earthy notes and leather. Body is light-medium with a strong bubbly carbonation and dry finish. Lingering acidic notes as well. Ends with more sour fruit, lemon juice, oak, earthy notes and leather.
3.6 750ml bottle, shared. Clear golden color. Thin off-white head, kind of bubbly, fades to minimal. Kind of a stronger, softer carbonation than I expect from a gueuze, fades to a level I like after a bit, though. Medium plus body, kind of slick. Sastisfying bigger sour taste, tang, moderate sweet taste. Oak, big lemon citrus, mild funkiness. Up front there was a lot of green apple, but that becomes less noticeable as it opens and warms up. Solid sour ale, was hoping for more from this though... Seems to be lacking something for me. Little too tangy maybe. Not quite refreshing like I kinda expected.
4.0 Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a clear orange with small frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is strong oak, grape, and acidic. Thin mouth with nice sourness, oak, tart grape, very nice.
3.6 Clear light yellow pour with a white head. Smells like cat piss. Mild sourness. Not really sure what I’m tasting. Kinda wacky. Average body and mouthfeel.

4.0 750 mL purchased at Whole Foods P Street in DC. 95% clear golden pour, bubbly off-white head that dissipates very quickly. Nose and flavor are lovely, with good notes of white grapefruit rind, lemon flesh, nice vibrant hints of peach and mango, intriguing fruity booze hints of Cointreau and even a touch of Grand Marnier. Definitely some good tannic and wooden funk, though balanced by just a touch of American style acidity that definitely differentiates this from a Belgian sour. Despite that, it’s beautifully restrained in that area, contributing to a quenching and balanced tartness that doesn’t come across as overbearing whatsoever. Low to medium body, medium to high carbonation. Really extraordinary well done again from a brewery that makes hilariously delicious sours considering how pedestrian their regular lineup is. Delicious stuff.
3.7 Refrigerated 75-cl 2014 brown bottle corked and capped poured into a tulip. Slightly hazy light orange with big fluffy white head. Aroma is tart, medium body, well carbonated, and thick small-bubble lacing. Taste is tart, oak, and some white wine. Pretty good, but hoped for a little more.
4.0 750. Bottle to tulip (shared with the Mrs.). Looks good; a very slightly hazy orange with fluffy eggshell head. Smells good too; brett, tropical fruit, oak, and light chardonnay and funk. Tastes like it smells with a pleasantly tart and fairly dry mouthfeel. Some peach. Good stuff.
4.1 Bottle. Yellow pour with white head. Nice tart fruit and sour aromas. Best sour flavor from Cisco I’ve had. Fruit beers aren’t as solid.
3.4 Crystal clear thin white head. Sweet tart nose. Very tart and crisp bit if lemon floral
3.5 Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with medium white head. Acidic tart aroma with notes of marmalade and berries. The flavour is marmalade, acidic fruit, pale berries and barnyard.

3.4 Bottle, 75cl corked. A minimal sized off-white head forms over a lighlty hazy golden body. It’s sort of woody and oaked, with white wine notes and some sourish hints. Lemon and some maltyness. Papaya and grapefruit. It’s quite complex, but not very interesting anyway. Not sure why, as it’s both tasteful and quenching in a way. Perhaps it’s caused by some sort of tropical fruit added? Dry, nicely carbonated and medium bodied. Tart, fruity finish. A strange one, nice indeed, but still not. 140830
4.0 I am tearing through my Lukaduke bottles this month, no turning back now! Pours a hazy gold one with light rising bubbles that go on and on. Some funky / sweaty notes on the nose with oak, citrus, Chardonnay in the back. Taste has nice lemon-lime tartness, mild sweetness, lacto, wet wood, white pepper. Light body and quick finish but drinks very nicely for the 5% ABV. Great summer sour!
3.9 Bottle to glass. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow color with a fizzy light tan off white head. Aroma is tart, oak, citrus. Flavor is quite sour, dry, with lemon zest and white whine. Light to medium body with a long lingering lemony citrusy sour. Very tasty!
4.4 Bottle shared by phaleslu at Muckfest V on 7/11/14. Thanks Peter! Pours a cloudy yellow with a thin white head. Funky and lemony nose with some malt and grapefruit notes. Sour and funky flavor with some pepperiness before a lemon juice finish.
3.7 750 split with the wife, pours gold, small fizzy white head the disappears as quickly as it formed. Nose of peach skins and funk. Taste is sweeter than I expected, lightly tart finish. Low acid burn, medium body that slips off the tongue.
4.1 750 ml bottle sent by...BoostIPA? I can’t remember. Damn. Pours a pale hazed yellow with almost no head. Notes of tart lemon citrus, yogurt, sourdough, vinegar, leather, oak, faint tropicals, chardonnay, apple skins, and herbs. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a tart mouthfeel. Slightly tunky, really tart. Super refreshing. Exceeded expectations.
4.3 I bought this completely at random, because the bottle gave no indication of the style - but it sure turned out well! Sour flavors dominate, with the wild/funk flavor in the background and just a hint of fruit. Light and very drinkable. A great surprise.
3.4 Clear golden color beneath thin white lace. Sharp citrus zest dominates the aroma, yet this contrasts sharply with the cheesy, funky palate experience. Notes of grainy sweetness creep from the heftily soured base. Dry overall; quite nice.
4.1 pours golden yellow, minimal head. Aroma is lemon, oak, and funk. Taste is similar sour lemon citrus in a background on oak, grass/earth. refreshing, dry.
3.9 Pours golden. Smell is tart lemon. Taste is sour, bright lemony beatification sour slightly sweeter bit very good. Sour candy. Nice
3.3 Bottle: Thanks, Ed. Light yellow body, a mild haze throughout with just about no head... Surprising. Aroma of light lemon flesh, cherry skins, yogurt, & some apparent sour lactobacillus yeast. Taste is a little watery & thin compared to the "fullness" of the aroma. Lemon, hint of lactic acid but the tartness hits quick & fades out almost instantly. Mild floral notes with a faint but of wet oak & white grape in the finish. Ends abruptly, finishes quick. Dry. A good wild ale, but I wish some of those nice flavors lingered for a bit. Kind of drops off a cliff.
3.5 Pale golden with no foam. Tart white fruit aroma. Small bubbles. Plenty of grape acidity with a sweet finish.
