4.1 Solid DIPA. Strong, thick citrus & pine, sweet malt aftertaste
3.1 Brood on 10 June and the hops taste old. Bittersweet and a pity it's past it's time.
3.5 amber color; piney hop aroma with a bit of citrus; resiny piney hop flavor; medium bodied
3.3 This is expensive, if it were not labeled 2xIPA I would actually rate it higher. It IS good though. Thick with a strong malt backbone, a hit of citrus on top, imagine a Hersey’s kiss where the malt is the bottom portion.
3.4 can, local alko. deep golden clear. thick caramel, butterscotch malty, ripe peach fruity nose. overripe citrus, kind of heavy first impression. full bodied, a chewy body, but with bitters for balance. this definitely isn't the freshest of cans, so feels fat and heavy without the, presumed, fruit and softness to lift it up. drinks actually quite ok still, but leaves, in its current state, me confused whether I actually enjoyed the experience .. like after having too much cake. clean well made etc though.
3.0 Schönes cremiges DIPA, erdig, wenig Frucht - hat tatsächlich was von einem Kuchen, ohne genau den Finger drauf legen zu können. Passt.
3.9 44cl blik. Helder oranje van kleur, fijne romige witte schuimkraag. De geur is tropisch fruit en karamel. Smaak is zoet, karamel, hars en citrus. Medium body en veel koolzuur.
2.8 Pours a somewhat hazy golden orange with a very good head. Aroma is funky with malt mixed with dank hops, tropical fruits, caramel, lots of herbs. Taste is citrus up front that provides the only bright note before getting heavy with caramel, tropical fruits (mango?), malt. This reminds me of both their bubble farm ipa but more concentrated and also something with their yeast might be off, reminds me of a number of our first homebrews with a less than clean taste.
3.6 Smell of hops, overripe fruit. Orange/amber colour, very high off-white head. Aroma of overripe fruit, hops, mango. Sweet. Medium carbon. Viscous texture.
3.9 Can - massive hoppy aroma - big solid fruity/herbal palate with caramel malt in balance although a tad too sweet for me - so I couldn’t drink a lot of this. Solid DIPA but not outstanding or particularly memorable.
0.0 Can 440ml at home. From Alko web shop. BBE 2019-12-16. Pours clear golden orange with off white head. Flavor has malts, caramel, orange zest, citrus, hops. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation, bitter finish.
3.6 0,473l bottle from Alko. Clear orange brown beer with medium head. Aroma and flavor has caramel, lot of malts, pine and some fruity hops. Full body, very malty and woody, could be bit more fresh.
2.4 Stein IPA; less hoppy
3.8 16Jan2020 Intense, overripe tropical fruits, mango, papaya, candied papaya. Clear gold, medium, creamy, white head. Light bitter. Bitter, overripe tropical fruits, mango peel, pine, soft carbonation, full bodied. Old fashioned, but nice. Can at L6 Tasting, London.
3.5 473 ml can. Pours clear copper color with a large white head. Very resinous and malty aroma, some caramel, mild hops, orange. Flavor is sweet caramel-y and malty bitter, resinous hops, some toasted notes as well, toffee, kind of nutty too. Just way too malty for my taste, decent. 4414
3.7 Can split at L6, thanks to LKS, 16/01/20. Very lightly hazed golden amber with a decent off white head. Nose is grassy, bitter orange, mango, old skool exhaust, toasted malts. Taste comprises orange pith, grapefruit, light weed, pine needle, mango, ripe melon, citric tinged straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with lightly aggressive hop bitterness. Decent enough Old Skool leaning DIPA.
3.2 Can. Not a bad IPA. Gold in color with a three finger head. Aroma is pretty hoppy with hints of grapefruit and spruce. Taste is sweet upfront and then gets bitter.
3.7 Pours slightly foggy amber with a small white froth. Aroma is pine and grapefruit hops with sweet malt backbone. Taste is a sharp pine and grapefruit bitterness and hop flavouring. BIg west coast style IPA.
3.6 Can shared at the Columbus tasting 16/01/2020. Many thanks A clear deep orange coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is semi sweet, orange, tangerine, orange rind, sticky,, tangerine. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, sticky orange tangerine, fresh orange. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation, sticky resin, moderate carbonation. Good.
3.4 Can shared in London - sources from the US. Pours clear deep honey gold with a creamy white head. Nice throwback style DiPA, pine, ripening citrus. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly resinous finish, ripening citrus. Not bad.
3.6 Gylden brun lett tåkete med hvitt skum. Lukter stenfrukter og sitrusskall. Middels fylde. Lett bitter sitrus, stenfrukt og noe karamell. Middels lang.
4.2 Quite delicious.
3.7 0,473 litre Can from Total Wine And Spirits, Laguna Hills, Ca. Dark Golden with offwhite head. Malts, hops, Citrus, Tropical fruits.
3.8 Tasted from a bomber (thanks Erinn). It poured a clear amber hue with a froth white head with a hint of orange that vanished rather quickly. Citrusy aroma of tangerine, peach and malt. Nicely hoped fairly straight up IPA taste.
3.8 An orange beer with a medium sized white head. Aroma is hoppy, citrusy, orange. Taste is bitter and malty sweet. Hoppy.
2.8 Strong aroma, mostly a normal IPA smell but something deeper and more complex of lemon in there...taste isn't as bitter as expected, more malty, but still finishes pretty dry...had at warmouth solo at first but then with Duke and later with John after work
3.5 22oz bottle from Whole Foods, Washington DC; enjoyed in a snifter on 13-Sep-2019. Hazy dark amber colour with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, citrus and pine. Medium body and soft/medium carbonation. Taste of malt, caramel, honey, grapefruit, orange and floral hops. Very sweet with a moderate bitterness. Fruity and good hop addition. Balance not quite right for me - a little too sweet.
3.8 Can. Practically clean gold. Thin head with high retention. Aroma intensity 4/5. Dry herbs in the can, flowers/honey and cooked vegetables aroma. Medium to heavy bitter, light sweet, some alcohol in the taste. Medium body
3.1 Can. Pours orange with a white head. Herbal and fruity hops, some sweet malty notes, moderate bitterness, and a balanced finish. This tastes the way that East Coast DIPAs tasted like 10 years ago.
3.8 16 oz can. Pours slightly opaque deep copper color. Aroma of tangerine, cherry juice, malty sweetness. Flavor of citrus, malty, with a bitterness in the finish.
