3.5 Aroma of lemon, grape, tropical and wheat. Orange-yellow with small white head. Sour but balanced. Tropical, white wine and citrus flavors.
3.4 Aroma: Malty sweet with citrus. Flavour: Sweet malt with strong citrus and tart notes. Aftertaste is malty sweet and citrusy. Colour: Hazy yellow with a white head. As: Dry Hopped Sour. 17/4-2018
3.5 Can from Beer Republic. Aroma is citrussy with strong lemon, lacto, some hop and tropical notes, wheaty pale malt. Flavour is tart and mild sour with a light hoppy bitterness. Body is medium. Pretty lemony, lacto sourness, not my favourite profile by a long shot but this comes together pretty well.
3.7 Thus we have a dry hopped Sour Beer, well balanced, easy drinking and packed with flavour. Notes of sour wheat, Brett, mango, lychee, passionfruit, vanilla, rhubarb, grapes, earth and pine are just some tasting notes to look out for. 2.9 This sour poured a hazy yellow colour with a creamy, white head. Nice lacing. Scents include eggs, cooked veggies and berry jam. First swig was quite sour. Nice mouthfeel, smooth and creamy... but sour! Flavours of light berries, candy and rhubarb. Finish is slightly sweet with medium hop bitterness lingering.
3.2 16oz can. Pours slightly cloudy golden color with minimal head. Aroma is mostly citrusy with a bit of funk. Quite sour with a bit of citrusy hop notes. Pretty light on the palate with a big sour kick. Not really my thing.
4.2 12-09-2020
3.5 Hazy yellow, almost NEIPA appearance. Little head and lacing. Strong tropical aroma from hops (citra and Vic secret?). Fruit forward (melon, berries). Little funk sour bite. Very solid sour that could be a good introduction to sour beers
3.3 Pours a slightly hazy, pale golden yellow, with minimal head. Aroma is pretty muted, to be honest. Some citrus, a touch of lactic acid, but not much happening there. Flavor is a slightly sour IPA, with citrus, some lactic acid, grass, maybe a touch of hops. Mouthfeel is pretty slight. I honestly don't quite know what to make of this...
3.6 Tap at Hopa. Golden pour, white head. Nose is citric, lightly resinous hops, citrus zest, faint lactic touch. Taste is light to moderate sour notes, lactic and there's citrus zest again, a touch of bitterness. Closes with bitter, tart finish, has ligt body and soft to average carbonation.
3.7 Toń lekko zamglona, ciemno złota, z małą pianą. Aromat kwaśny - lacto, agrest i yuzu. Ciało gęste, niemal płaskie, gładkie, klejące. Smak też kwaśny cytrusami i gorzkawy albedo. Bardzo przyjemny lekki kwasik.
3.7 Where did my old rating go? Did I enter it? Oh well, here's a can from the LCBO. Nice evenly sour with a bit of background sweetness A bit of lactic acidity clean and full tart fruity aroma long tart replays, almost a bit sweet tart candy. A bit acidic stomach feel.
3.5 473ml can – Pours a hazy pale yellow colour with a small white head that quickly settled to almost nothing. Aroma is fruity, oranges and a lot of passionfruit. A fruity sour and light acidic flavour, peach, pineapple and citrus with a tart citric finish.
3.7 10 May 2020. Rest Tasting with Anke & Pieter. Can from Gedeelde Vreugde. Pours clear yellow with a slowly thinning, off-white head. Aroma of gooseberry, lemon, unripe apple, hay, lime, apricot, white grape. Taste has sour gooseberry, lime, lemon, yeasty with a bready touch, a bit lactic & bitter hay-like. Fruity, tart finish, apricot & yellow fruit lingering but mostly quite earthy. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Very refreshing Sour.
3.5 Can from BCL bought in Sept 2019 for $4 CAD. Attack: huge sour crisp Mids: tart tangy sour litchi, sour malt, lvl3-sweetness Finish: residual clean sourness Overall: big litchi flavour, very sippable.
3.2 Pours A light golden yellow with little head. Medium carbonation 6/10 Medium strawberry and hops flavor 7/10 Moderately sour finish 6/10 Strong wheat aftertaste. 10/10
4.0 16 ounce can A surprising discovery blends sour aspects with a hidden bitterness. The memorable profile demonstrates how restraint can result in an enjoyable experience that doesn't need to push the envelope. I hope that I can stumble across a few Collective Arts releases on sale in the next few months to continue enjoying their world class products. AROMA / APPEARANCE Tart grass clippings, wheat, and a dry biting tartness balance a bretty core with a rousing bitterness that wakes up the senses. A bubbly golden base sparkles under a head that surges to fill the glass for a few minutes before it finally settles into a calm protective layer. FLAVOR / PALATE The modest tart first impression scoots gently over the tongue. A dry brut champagne finish winds up a robust and easy going presence. Lemons and wheat add more character. Overall it feels tropically inspired and still under control. I'd happily drink this one again.
4.0 On tap at Valhalla, Zagreb. Hazy yellow with medium white head. Peaches, citric, nice acidity. Smooth. Medium bodied.
4.2 Can from Starmore Boss, Sheffield Very cool artwork (Jared Yamahata) of one of the traditional British bearskin hat wearing guards, but it's a birds nest. Ace. Appearance - Light, fairly effervescent, close bubbly/foamy head. Aroma - Big fresh melon Taste - A fresh fruit juicy sourness - like stone fruit, not aggressively sour at all, more like ripe fruit. Body - Full bodied, about right. Finishes pleasingly tartly with a touch of astringency. Overall - Excellent, very approachable fresh lightly hoppy sour. One I can imagine winning over people who don't generally like sour beers.
3.9 Pours gold with a large lasting head. Nose shows lemon, peach, elderflower, and grassy hops notes. Flavours include more fruit and lemon as well as a fairly reasonably sourness. Some grassy notes. Clean finish with very little bitterness.
3.5 Sampled December 2019. Can. Clear straw yellow in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas of hay, sour peach, and plum. Flavors of sour candy, grapefruit, more peach, and dried grass. Tart on the palate with a mild sourness. Quite nice.
3.9 Can, small stable bubbly frothy head, murky milky orange color, nactarine, peach, apricot, mango, passion fruit, grapefruit and a bit of onion behind, mellow sourness. Excellent.
2.9 Draught at Big Ash in Cincy. A bright yellow pour but so tart that I couldn't get past much of it.
2.9 Raar ding. Alleen al de beschrijving op het blik voorspelt naderend onheil: dryhopped sour - dan moet je wel heel goed weten wat je doet. Heeft wat Berliner-trekjes maar doe dan toch liever maar een goeie Berliner.
4.2 Collective Arts Jam up the Mash dry hop sour is the most solid go-to that I've come across. Easy to find and consistently good, Collective Arts has nailed it worth this sour. Pours golden, not much foam. Terrifically tart. Smooth and drinkable.
3.9 Can. Golden pour. Aroma of orange juice, pineapple, onion hops, grapefruit, acidic sourness, citrus, white grape and tart. Taste has fresh zesty citrus, onion hops, tart, acidic sourness, grapefruit, orange, white grape and crispy malt. The hops work really well with the tartness, good beer.
3.7 Plutot bonne. On sent plus le côté surette qu’houblonnée.
3.4 Dry Hop Sour, VIC Secret & Nelson Sauvin 35 IBU Keg at All In Beer Fest 2019-11-02 Göteborg AR: sour grape, passion fruit AP: hazy yellow, wee head F: sour grape, passion fruit
4.2 Tap, Lajbah. Slightly hazy golden yellow, pale, medium white head, slowly dissipating. Sweet fruity nose, pineapple. Nice and freshly puckery, fruity sourness. Light and vrey refreshing. Yummm.
