Coopers Original Pale Ale

Coopers Original Pale Ale

Bottle & keg; Unfiltered.

Ingredients: Water, Barley, Hops, Yeast.

"With its fruity character, and robust flavour, Coopers Pale Ale is perfect for every occasion.

Naturally fermented in the 'Burton-on-Trent' style, a secondary fermentation creates the trademark sediment that gives 'Pale' its fine cloudy appearance. This cloudy residue can be stirred through the beer by tipping or rolling the bottle before drinking."

3.0 Cloudy yellowish pour, bit of head. Nose is grass and citrus. Middle is fairly light bodied, yeasty, bits of apple, light kilned malt. Finish is light and slightly lemony.
3.0 375ml bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a foamy head. Yeasty, bready, lemon and orange zest, sourdough. Mild dryness, slightly bitter and sweet. Medium to light bodied, oily watery texture, lively carbonated, dry finish. Decent, not bad.

2.9 Bottle enjoyed in August 2010. Slightly hazy pale gold, well carbonated. Bread malt and slightly citric hops. Easy drinking but not special.
3.2 12.7 oz. Gots to get something from that Australian Pale Ale category! Aroma is bready malt, grain. Pours hazy pale golden with a quickly collapsing bone-white head and lots of sediment. Taste is light to moderately sweet with some faint bitterness in the finish. Bready malt and herbal hop flavors. Prickly carbonation. A simple unassuming pale ale. Not bad.
4.0 A pleasant beer, refreshing and reasonably alcoholic. Reliable and available pretty much everywhere in Australia. Perfect at the end of a hot Darwin afternoon. Tastes like beer, not chemical soup like most of the other mainstream Aussie beers. Appearance? I don't know, I only ever drink it from the stubby (bottle). Less yeasty than their Sparkling Ale, which is why I prefer it.
1.9 15/11/2020 - Really light taste, it's okay - Kinda weird aftertaste
4.0 Pão de Açúcar
1.8 Pretty poor pale ale, tastes pretty bitter while drinking, glad the aftertaste is abit better. Needs more hops
2.9 Cerveza estilo palé ale, con un toque muy dulce a miel, el resto correcto
2.6 Cerveja dourada, aroma doce maltado, sabor maltado, dulçor de mel, melaço, leve amargor residual
0.8 Are there any hops in this? Genuinely tastes like a diluted VB. Flavours are almost non-existent and the flavours that are there are disgusting. A typical Aussie beer that should be lost with time.
0.9 Deplorable muck. Used to be good. The head lasts a minute and you're left with a liquid looking like dirty bath water and tasting not much better
2.9 Appearance: Light orange, hazy. Some fizzy head. Aroma: Light fruits, crisp. Some hops, but not too much. Taste: Light fruits, slight hops. Perfume. Slight sweetness. Bought: Wittich, 375 ml, CHF 3.40 Info: 9/5-2020, BB: 30/10-2020
3.6 Leicht trüb mit feinporigen Schaum. Riecht etwas muffig ähnlich wie ein Weizen.milde süße. An einem warmen Sommertag kann man viele von denen trinken.
3.0 Coopers Original Pale Ale (4.5%) Light, crisp, lightly fruity with slight bitter after's.. give this golden goose a roll before drinking it...
3.2 12 ounce bottle A fairly accessible pale ale might not be stellar but it does enough to get the job done as a lightweight distraction or refreshing nightcap. If someone offered me one at a party I would not turn it down. AROMA / APPEARANCE The transparent rose gold base absorbs the snowy head. Light wheat, citrus, and dry hops freely work upwards with a cool profile that dances into the air. FLAVOR / PALATE Light grain, orange glaze, and a cool modest profile center this low key presence. The soft bitter finish remains middle of the road from start to finish. While nothing remarkable happens it does offer enough depth to be interesting for a while. Overall there are plenty of worse pale ales to choose from.
3.0 Medium body light hazy inoffensive easy drinking
3.1 Robe blonde dorée. Nez faible, le corps également. Ses petits défauts font aussi qu'elle est très facile à boire, elle a un peu un profil de Lager, désaltérante avec une fine amertume sur la finale.
3.3 A nice aroma of banana and then toffee. Light to drink.
3.0 Poured from a bottle into a tulip glass. Low aroma. Pours a hazy, light amber colour with a good head that dissipates to form patchy lacing and a decent collar. Well balanced and refreshing, but flavour lacks imagination. Medium to full bodied. Used to really like this beer, but with the advent of more craft beers on the market, this one slides down the list.
3.3 12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy orange gold with tons of floaties and a thin immediately disappearing white head. Mild malty and juicy smells. Almost no hops profile at first with mostly malt upfront some juiciness and a late lingering tartness in the finish. Drinkable but not a classic pale ale.
2.0 Cerveza australiana, rubia y un poco turbia, cumple con lo que promete, poca cosa. Sabor correcto, fácil de beber y poco más.
2.8 Aroma : Light toasted caramel malt, lemony citrus and soft softer floral hop. Taste : More mellow sweet caramel malt than anything, citrus & soft friut is just a subtle undertone. Decent bitter-sweet balance
3.0 Slightly hazy pour with thin head. Hoppy, fruity and very zesty. Very light, refreshing PA
3.1 Quite a nice pale ale. Not too hoppy, making it a very easy drink. Well-balanced, crisp and clean, while also being very affordable.
3.0 375ml bottle from Beers of Europe and drunk on 15/12/2006. A very solid pale ale and pretty cutting edge back then for a young lad who didn’t get to drink many new world beers. Not as good as the Sparkling Ale, I didn’t think; but still a nice, crisp pale.
3.6 Pours hazy amber with tracing carbonation and a. thick white head. Aroma of yeast, sweet and herbal. Taste has muted fruit notes, citrus, a slight metallic note. Palate has citrus fruits, a bold malt body. Good.
5.0 Mothers milk! You can live on this alone!!! Great taste and after a one foot roll all the sediment is delicious! I once drunk a pint of the end of the keg that a spoon stood up in and I grew three inches taller overnight!
3.0 Not very strong, works well with pork, had with pork belly
