3.0 0.335 l bottle from K-Supermarket Kamppi, Helsinki. Pale yellow, clear, almost no head. Refreshing malt beverage - that's it.
1.8 Golden color, small white head. Aromas of malt and citrus. Taste of bread and slight citrus.
2.5 31 August 2012. Tonic Bar, Daydream Island. Ah. Corona. Is there a person on the planet that is of legal drinking age that hasn’t had a Corona? I must admit that I have had a love/hate relationship with this beer since I drank my first one back in 1988 in Las Vegas. I remember thinking at the time “what is this wonderful beer that I just paid 99 cents for that has a wedge of lime stuck in the top of the bottle.” I have drank Corona on and off over the years and I once bought ten cartons of it because it was on special. You can find it in almost any bar or restaurant and while it is not a great beer by any stretch of the imagination, it is easy to drink and doesn’t taste too bad. The clear bottle let’s you know what you are in for as you can see that this is a light yellow coloured beer and quite clear. Flavourwise it is not bad, I’ve surely drank a lot of beers that have tasted worse than this, although I have my suspicions that the lime (or lemon) masks some of the unpleasantness that no doubt is in that bottle. Brewed with corn as one of the ingredients, along with barley, malt and hops this Mexican pale lager also has ascorbic acid and propylene glycol alginate (sounds nasty). Whatever the ingredients, it doesn’t stop millions of people around the world from drinking it. The last Corona I had I paid $10 for it - a long way from 99 cents.
2.5 Sommarstrand m lime
3.0 Few bottles in the sun this weekend. Light malts, malt sweetness, light hop twang on the finish. Actually fair enjoyed them although it’s pretty standard lager. Definitely refreshing and had no off flavours.
2.1 How: bottle, enjoyed directly from bottle without any additional spices, such as lime wedge. Very cold. BB: 230323 Head: - Colour: straw to golden Aroma: malts, corn, subtle hints of hops. Taste: thin to medium body, soft carbonation, malts, corn, herbal hops. Balanced bitterness. Medium long aftertaste like initial taste. Sure, it is very bulky beer with very easy taste, but it does it's job: it really refreshes on hot days.
3.0 The palest of pale, only slight tinge of gold. An even 360 degrees of up streaming bubbles to form a moderate lasting cotton texture head. Cereal nose. A watery taste with faint beer bite. Macro brewery mouthfeel, enough to please everyone - it has no distinct flavors. Or maybe that’s just it! Easy down the hatch along with a late carbonation. Light finish.
1.8 330 ml bottle. Light clear golden. Light corn and cardboard. Mild dry sweetness. Light bodied, watery texture, soft carbonated, mild dry sweet ginish. Pretty tasteless.
5.0 Es buena, es mexicana, saludos hermanos mexicanos.
1.9 Bottle 0.33L. Clear pale amber body with a small, fizzy, white head, mostly diminishing with virtually no lacing. Light malty aroma with notes of medicine. Light sweet and very light bitter flavour; short sweet and watery finish. Light body with watery texture; soft carbonation. Too watery to be satisfactory.
2.0 Simple taste good but not amazing, good for anytime
0.5 Agua con alcohol
5.0 All right, all right. I'm rating this beer more on "feeling" than on flavor. Or any of the other typical attributes. So many happy memories of grabbing this long neck on a hot summer Saturday, and it quenching my thirst, that I just have to thank it. It's bland - but so distinctive. It's everywhere - but somehow exotic. Perhaps because I just remember when it first appeared, and we were thrilled to have a beer from Mexico. Ooh, fancy like. Seeing those dragons (or whatever) on the blue / white painted label just makes me happy. (Extra points for an imprinted label, by the way, rather than the usual paper.) It is thirst-quenching. You can't deny that, no matter what critiques you might have for the ingredients or lack of depth. It's my go-to, when i walk into an unfamiliar bar, and just need a starter, to sate my dry. Which leads to another concession you have to make about this beer: It is consistent. I have NEVER had a bad Corona. (Extra, let's be clear.) Ordered from the Carolinas to New England, in upscale restaurants to shithole joints, it's almost always the same. Reliable. Have to confess also, I only drink Corona in the summer months. For whatever, I associate Corona with summer. (They have winters in Mexico... what's up with that?) Maybe that makes it special, something to look forward to. Like summer, or Christmas. Addressing the carbonation: is it perfect, or what? There's always a little fizz, but not soo much to make it foamy. So, my apologies to you hop-heads. I love Corona.
Dystans zalecany. Instagram/czgr_
2.0 Very standard lager. Not a huge amount of flavour. Has a slight Mexican-style tang to it and is very bitter and very malty. Adding a lime slightly enhances the flavour and makes it a bit more refreshing. Not suitable for beer connoisseurs but is okay to drink as an easily drinkable refreshment especially with a lime.
2.5 Old Untappd check-in. Before October 20, 2016. First tasted in 1997, with very negative results. When I was old enough to drink, I definitely appreciated it more.
2.2 Gold with a malty nose. Well-carbonated and malty with a bittersweet finish.
2.5 It's just not my style

1.8 355ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Musty, strawy, minimally grainy, malty aroma, hints of horse dung, a touch of maize. Taste is watery, minimally sweet malty, hints of maize. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Expressionless, boring, close to pure water, accordingly quite quaffable - acceptable if you got nothing else at hand to avoid dying of thirst.
4.0 Nice on a hot day with a slice of lime, refreshing drink.
3.1 Für mich einfach ein nettes Sommerbierchen. Säuerlich zitronig, auch ohne Limettenstück. Absolut unkompliziert. Erfrischend
2.1 Śmierdzi, w smaku delikatne, wodniste i kwaśne z lekką goryczką w posmaku.
