3.4 Bottle. Slightly hazy dark yellow color, small white head. Stone fruits, resinous and fruity aroma. Dry taste, high bitterness. Cracker malty, passion fruit, resinous and light lemon aftertaste. Full body, medium carbonation.
2.0 Pours a hazy golden with egg white head. Lightly floral nose with malty / grain overtones. Kind of ok in the mouth, but overpowering bitterness masking the fruitiness: lemon? Who knows? Lingering bitter finish. Not balanced, not enjoyable
3.4 Bottle@Lars - Hazy golden with a white head. Fruity and malty with some tangerine and grapefruit, some lemon, sweet caramel malty backing, piney hoppy finish.
3.5 Sample from 33 cl bottle. Slightly hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, caramel malts, tropical impressions. Taste is bitter. Medium bodied. Dry and bitter finish with citrus fruit and tropical impressions.
3.3 33 cl. bottle. A hazy golden coloured beer with a white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, hops, caramel, spice, grapefruit, grass , citrus, alcohol and with a sweet finish.
3.5 Bottle. 8.0%. Best before 16.11.19. Pours a hazy orange, with a creamy, off-white/yellowish head. Great lacing. Fat, fruity aroma, with an alcohol note. Light pineapple note, increasing as it warms, while the alcohol diminishes a bit. Remote hint of bread as well. Flavour is fat hops, malt, fruit, light orange, pineapple, hint of coconut. Light metallic overtone. Bitter (hop) finish, somewhat grainy. A wee bit dry. Lingering light ashy note, followed by grass. Overall okay, if a bit unbalanced. 02.10.19.
3.6 Tap at Berlin Bar, Copenhagen. Clear amber with off-white head. Aroma is floral, grassy hops. Some honey. Light malts. Medium-dry with moderate-high bitterness. Lingering but pleasant finish. Balanced carbonation.
3.3 Bottle.Hazy yellow colour with off white head.Aroma nice bitter with hint of citrus and dry hops nice dry finish.
3.5 Fles met LiekevdV geprobeerd op Nommerlayen. Het is een helder oranjekleurig bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een hoppige en tropisch fruitige geur. De smaak is hoppig, bitter en fruitig.
3.4 Orange hazy with a frothy head. Smell of grapefruit and roses. Bitter IPA taste with an aftertaste that resembles apple seeds.
3.3 @ Giessener Bierfest. Poors clear dark yellow, big white lacing foam head. Aroma is hoppy, taste and aftertaste are bitter. Good Beer. (Giessen 201907)
3.6 Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Long moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.
3.7 Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are bitter hops, fruits, flowers and malt. Nice long bitter finish.
4.0 Todella hyvä. Caramaltaista sekä väri että voimakkuus. Viittä eri humalaa mutta koska aa:t vaihtelee tutuista tuntemattomiin niin kokonaisuus on hyvä (magnum -> taurus). Sekoite olematta mitään liian tuttua mutta kuitenkin jostain läheltä. Oulainen - Ylivieska tyyppinen.
3.5 33cl bottle from Cactus in Remich in Luxembourg. F: medium, egg-white, average retention. C: orange gold, light hazy. A: orange, tangerine, bit mellow tropical fruits, pine resin touch, caramel, biscuits. T: medium malty base, orange, tangerine, pine resin, decent long lasting bitterness, bit caramel, medium body and soft carbonation, bit spicy, quite nice, enjoyed.
3.2 Draught at Skaal. Cloudy golden coloured with a medium sized white head. Fruity aroma of hops and citrus. Fruity flavour of hops and grass with notes of grapefruits. Hoppy finish.
3.3 Draft. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, hops, and fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, citrus fruits, malt, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish. OK, but not exciting for a DIPA.
3.3 Botella. Hazy gyltur litur, hvítt medium hövd. Sött fruity hoppy caramel malty anga with some alco notes there too. Smakkur: Hon er sött with fruity hops and caramel, bready malty underneath, good bitterness, sweet bitter hoppy finish.
3.3 330ml bottle picked up at Lolita Canalla Craft Beer Cafe in Altea. Bubbly pearl white head over a close to clear yellow-gold body. Lacing rings down the glass. Moderate aromas of herbal hops with a tropical touch. Taste of resinous hops followed by citrus peels to a decent bitter tail. Well bodied. Pretty good. (Hotel room, Albir 11.04.2019).
2.9 Copenhagen 6/4 2019. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb F. Black label with scratchy white writing and a Green bowler hat. Seems like they are celebrating St. Patricks day. Bitburger's take on looking very small and Craft Beer-like. Takes quite a effort if you happens to be of the biggest breweries in Germany. Pours hazy golden amber with a medium-sized white head. Stable. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of dense foam crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing. Aroma is intense with light notes of exotic fruit soon overcome by an almost brutal, sharp sourness. Sharp citrus. Light sweet notes of butter rummaging in the background. Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, texture. Flavor is medium sweet followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a slightly weaker underlying bitterness. Semi-dry finish. Not the most convincing IPA. And not very imperial.
3.2 Bottle at Frankfurt Airport. Hazy, sort of one of those dull hazes, with a medium head. Some pine and grapefruit but generally the hops are quite stale, obvious oxidation, some cardboard. I think this works structurally but hop freshness is definitely an issue here.
3.1 Optisch ansprechendes, gut gemachtes West Coast IPA. Fruchtbombe, Mango, Maracuja. Dazu schön gebitterter Abgang
3.8 Bottled 0,33L. Orange clear and bright color, light hazy aspect, good bubbly and foamy head of medium resistance. Dry hoppy nose, notes of wood, sweet caramel, light citrus and tropical aromas. Medium prickly taste, pleasant alcoholic body, sweet caramel and riped tropical fruity smell, pine and pale malty final.
3.5 Visuel moche, arôme léger de houblonnun peu dépassé car dégustation 5 mois après embouteillage. Mais tout très bon d agrume et on ne sent pas les 8 degrés
3.1 Bottle, Paris. Pours slightly hazy golden with an fading offwhite head. Aroma of malt, grass, light spicy hops, light citrus. Flavor is light bitter, malt, grassy, light spicy hops, fruit, melon, citrus, litle harsh. Medium body, average carbonation, light bitter finish. 161018
2.7 330 ml bottle. Hazy orange, medium head. Spicy hops, metal, pine, grass, some fruity notes. Metallic bitterness, minium sweetness. Full bodied, soft carbonated, unpleasant bitter finish. Not good.
3.5 Clear dark golden, offwhite froth. Peachy, caramely aroma. Fruity, caramely flavour. Passionfruit and light pine. Lasting piney bitterness.
3.7 Nice bottle with a lot of detail information here. Light cloudy amber beer with very stable cream-colored head, smell is grapefruit and tropical fruits, also after forest, taste is bitter, but this isn’t too heavy, grapefruit, I can not taste a sweetness here, long finish with bitter and dry, medium body, oily texture, light spicy, I cannot feel the alcohol here, perfect, (I have 0.33l bottle with best-before 16.11.2019 and batch L16112017L)
