Crazy Mountain Mountain Livin' Pale Ale

Crazy Mountain Mountain Livin' Pale Ale

We utilize two types of American hops in such a way that we put the flavor of these hops center stage and let their bitterness fade into the background. The hop-forward character of this Pale Ale shines through in the unique, tropical fruit flavor of two American hop varieties. Enjoy this offering with a fresh approach to how a Pale Ale expresses its inner hoppiness.

2.8 355 ml bottle from Flavourly Ltd with ABV 5,2 %. Fruity, almost rasin-like aromas. Medium sized cream white head and hazy bronze-golden body. Taste is quite fruity and bitter from the hops. Citrus-tones in the background.
3.4 Can from Booths, Media City. Golden-amber with a thin head. Hoppy some citrus and well stated with its tropical fruitiness.
1.9 22nd January 2017 Light haze on this gold beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and fairly crisp. Light malts. Gueuze! Wet wood! Dried fruits! Light crisp finish. Infected or what?
3.4 Can at Ogilvy, Woking. Sour fruit aroma. A hazy opaque Amber. Massive white head. 5/5 for me. Initial bitter impact. This then smooths out. Sharp grapefruit. Light to medium bodied. Relatively water, however it does develop a soft creamyness into the finish.
2.5 Pours a slightly hazy amber after exploding out of the bottle. Got about a third of the beer in the glass before it foamed over again. Aroma is estery with mild sap character. Flavor is sweet with only a hint of citrus. Not much bitterness to it.
3.1 Bottle: Hazy amber with a giant off-white head. Caramel, lemon aroma. Taste is fairly acidic, lemon, orange, caramel malt. Decent orange-peel bitter. Slightly rough-edged, but not too bad.
2.2 poured from can. i’m not sure if this beer was past its prime, but i got noticeable whiffs of cinnamon, stale bread, and malt. the flavors weren’t much better. non of the tropical hops were present as advertised by the brewery. poor example of a pale ale.
3.3 Can. Pours a lovely orange color with a large white head. A light grainy floral nose. The flavor is sweet toasted malt, caramel, pine, light hops. Earthy core. Ok.
3.0 Keg at The Well & Bucket, Shoreditch, London. Cloudy gold to amber with white head. Quite a thin beer, there is a slight resinous character, sharp, pine needle then a light, indistinct fruitiness. Some floral hints perhaps but all a little underwhelming.
2.9 Bottle. Orange, caramel malt, and lemon peel aroma. Dark amber with nice light tan head. Lightly sweet citrus, caramel malt, and moderately bitter orange peel flavor. Body a bit light. Nothing bad, just kind of boring.
3.2 Can. High fluffy lasting white head. Clear yellow golden body. Exotic fruit aroma and flavor with a nice hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long finish.
5.0 Delicious Pale Ale with a nice amount of hoppiness, very refreshing, nice citrus flavour to it too.
3.5 12 oz bottle. Kind of weak for a pale ale but not too bad overall. i expected more from this one and from this brewery.
3.0 Bottle to glass. Ambery golden colour with a mediumsized head. aroma is caramel, some floral notes along ith some sweetness. Flavour is sweet malts, some floral and nectary notes with a nice resiny and slightly tart bite to it.
2.6 Can served in a pint glass. Pours a hazy burnt orange with an average off white head. Aroma is pine, bread, and mild citrus. Taste is pine resin, more bread, a little caramel, and faint grassy hops. Sorta on the thin side. Just ok.
2.6 From 12oz can to snifter. Pour is a orange color. Nose is hoppy, resin, floral. Taste is medium bodied, sour. Ok
2.5 Pours a hazy amber with beige head. Aroma of piney hops and some malt. Taste is sweet with a bitter finish.
2.9 355ml can. Slightly cloudy, amber colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Rather expressionless, piney hoppy aroma, caramel malty background. Taste is moderately sweet caramel malty, hints of pine. Monotonous, vacuous - neglectable.
3.0 Bottle. Hazy golden with frothy off white head. Light citrus aroma. The taste has plastic, citrus, light spice and a slightly harsh bitter finish. OK.
2.8 Bottle. Pours dark amber with a small white head that soon recedes to a fine film. The aroma is faint and indistinct with perhaps just a trace of sweet pine oil. The taste is more along the lines of what I would expect from an amber ale. Lots of caramel with pine hops bite. The palate is medium. Finishes short. Overall: meh
2.6 Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a red-brown color with a medium sized foamy orange-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet and toasty with notes of tobacco and hints of pine and fruity hops. The flavor was bitter with tobacco, wood, toasted caramel and pine. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh.
3.9 12 once bottle from brother in law. Surprised this didn’t get better ratings. Bottle says "bright, tropical, citrusy" and I get all that. Not a new favorite but I enjoyed it.
3.2 Poured from the bottle into a pint glass to drink. The beer had a clear rich amber-copper color with a large foamy/creamy white head with very good retention, and modest cling and lacing. Its aroma featured pine, straw, and grain hops, along with some light floral scents and a touch of malt. The taste was mostly a modest bitter blend of grain with a very slight malty sweetness at the finish. It was a fairly wet and smooth beer with below average carbonation for a somewhat lighter mouthfeel.
3.2 Pours amber with medium and lasting white head. Aroma is silage, grass, vinegar, some fruits, acid, floral notes. Taste is a bit oily, floral, grapefruit, corn, some spruce, citrus. Little bit dry and oily but easily drinkable beer.
3.2 Pours clear orange-amber with a medium beige head, good retention. Aromas of pine, biscuit, mango, pepper. Medium light body, velvety, moderate carbonation, a little dry. Lightly sweet, medium bitter finish. A nice, drinkable pale ale.
3.4 Sampled from a bottle. Pours a surprisingly dark orange color, with a creamy, tan head. The nose is bright orange peel and rose water, with some hints of biscuit and pine. Sweet up front, with a pleasant hop bitterness. Light to medium body, crisp, a little oily, and clingy. This is an okay pale ale base, but showcases the hops very nicely.
3.2 Can (past BB). Slightly hazy deep golden color with a thin white head. Aroma of resin, honey and malt. Medium sweet and bitter taste. Medium body.
3.2 Slightly fruity aroma. The taste of flowers, perfume and fruitiness. Good bitterness that fills the upper part of the tongue for a long time. Tasty and light beer. But not all special. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.
2.9 Pours hazy copper with a small line of white head. Aroma; Citrus, pine, some caramel, grass and floral notes. Taste; Citrus, pine, floral, some herbal tones, grass and a bit nutty woth a bitter finish.. Nothing special, just a ordinary pale ale.
3.2 En rätt enkel lättdrucken Pale Ale, lätt humlig doft med lite fruktighet. Smak i samma bana med en kort ganska lätt beska. Helt ok
