2.8 473 ml can. (LCBO) Sault Ste Marie, ON. Cloudy golden color with a small white head. Mild citrusy hops, mild bitterness and dryish malt in the aroma. The flavor is citrusy and piney hops, mild sweetness, mild bitterness and dry malt.
2.7 Hazy dark gold color with moderate activity. Creamy beige 3 finger island head, lasting around 10 minutes, with good leggings. Flavors of biscuits, caramel, orange, pineapple, lemon, roasted grains, herbal spices. Sugary yet overwhelmed by bitterness. Oily, almost full body, with moderate carbonation. Strong strength finish, lingering astringent grassy and piney hops, with caramel and tropical fruits. Feels more like an IPA. The smell is faint and the taste is decent, but nothing amazing. Okay freshness, but a little dull. A little too strong for the lack of flavors. Overall the quality is pretty average for this craft.
3.1 Cloudy orange color. Tropical fruit and some pine in the aroma. Taste starts kind of watery then becomes quite bitter with some pine notes
2.6 Can from LCBO. Hazy orange body with a thin white head. Average carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of dried grass, marmalade and stale hops. Flavour of tonic water and grain. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. Very forgettable.
3.3 Can from the beer store. Pours orange amber with a white head that leaves some light lacing. Aroma is malts and carmel with a hint of hops. Flavour is sweet malts and tangy hops which gives it a good bitterness. Good beer.
3.0 Poured from bottle. Aroma of yeast and caramel. Pours a slightly cloudy amber with white head. Taste is medium bitter. Medium bodied with an oily texture and bitter finish. Nothing special.
3.1 50 cl can. Pours a clear amber with minimal white head. Aroma of malt and caramel. Taste is bitter. Palate is thin with a mild aftertaste. Overall is a good offering from a commercial brewery.
3.3 can from the local LCBO in Kitchener, which, is a place I can almost tolerate regardless of Canada and its insolence. I shall have you liquidated. out of the can zero fux given as per usual. Mild booze nose, light grass. taste is pretty much euro trash lager, and given my surroundings, it fits. B sides, all you bruhs acting like Canada won the war of 1812 let me in on the facts of life. #1) it was the English empire in basically its high point... Canada won jack shit..... but bend your knee to the monarch #2) We got Washington State, Idaho (u a ho), and Oregon out the resulting treaty..... I am pretty sure we won this on bruhs. BY. A. LARGE. MARGIN. Medium and somewhat dry body, like my humor. or is it humore?
3.1 Can 47,3cl. Dark orange with an off white head. Malty aroma, no sign of hops. In the taste though there are plenty of hops. Very bitter, but no aroma hops, surprisingly. Medium length
2.7 Orangée avec un petit col de mousse. Arômes fruitiers (petits fruits, papaye). Goût houbloné aux notes de caramel torrefié. Pas très profonde. Sans grande aventure gustative. Mais, somme toute, honnête..
4.2 473 mL Can. Deep gold-orange body with a tenacious 1-finger cream head leaving a set of foamy ribs as it is sipped. Aroma of light sweet malts, pungent-astringent hops, an innuendo of clover. Flavor of light sweet malts, a nice tangy hop aftertaste and an astringent finish. An interesting example of using a lager yeast on what is really an ale recipe.
2.5 Aroma: strong grass, citrus, cedar Taste: pine, strong hops Body: medium Ibu: 60 Finish: very dry
3.2 Can, Ann Arbor, MI via Mulmur. Medium amber. Soapy resin and caramel aroma. Medium body. Some citrus hops and caramel pepper finish.
2.6 Carrot orange colour with an orange off white head. Frothy head that sticks around and caps the unfiltered body. Fresh wet hoppy aromas swith some citrus notes balanced in the flavours. The bitterness is subtle at first and reveals itself quickly and then fades.
3.5 Poured from a bottle into a tulip: Pours amber with a thin white head. Aroma of biscuit malt, grass, and light lemon. Taste is more of the same, light citrus notes with a solid, clean lager backbone. Not very aggressive, but it’s a nice beer.
3.4 A hazed Dark amber ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, pleasant biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, light resinous grassy character, nice. In mouth, a nice crisp biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light mineral notes, very decent. On tap at Caplan sky’s, Terminal 3, YYZ.
3.1 0.473 can. Hazy, orange color and a medium, off-white head of standard retention. Aroma of hops, grass, strong yeasts, hay, flowers. Taste is bitter, hoppy, floral, but with a malt-yeasty backbone. A medium body, a creamy texture, and a soft carbonation. Finish is shortish, more balanced but not particularly amazing either. Overall not a bad beer, nothing extraordinary though.
2.9 On tap at madison, orange coloured, smells decently hoppy and tropical, flavour is hoppy as well, light bodied, fairly straightforward.
2.1 Can at Pearson airport. It looks proper, half-hazy with a big off-white head with small bubbles. The aroma is like a lager, nothing special but not bad. The taste is interesting at first, but the combination of the dry hops and the fresh lager turns it into something that reminds me of cardboard. Good and creative try, but this combo doesn’t fly.
2.7 On tap. Pours a dark copper color with moderate head. Aromas of wet cardboard and sweet malts. Flavors of wet malts, grain, som pine and more cardboard. Long bitter grassy/papery finish.
3.3 Fat.
3.2 Pint poured at shoeless joes in Toronto. Pours a hazy amber with a beige head and lots of lacing. Not much smell. Taste is slightly bitter with hops and a bit of citrus. Drinkable but not perfect.
3.0 Started of the party yesterday splitting this with Andy. I should have picked something better to start with and had this later. Poured amber with thin white head. Hoppy aroma. Medium bodied. Pronounced hoppy bitterness that lingers.
3.6 Oh bull, did I just drink a Coors beer? Fuck. Eh, anyway. Had it on tap at Sin & Redemption in Toronto, ABV was 5%. Hazy darkish amber. Head with nice retention and lace. Earthy hoppy nose, rather strange herbal/floral notes. As the hops fade slowly, it gets fuller, very malty, nutty, even slightly chocolaty. Bitter taste - wouldn’t guess it to be a hoppy lager. Nutty malts. Goes down easy, especially after some spicy food, the carbonation is rather mellow, the body light to medium. It’s very nice, I like how it evolves. Perfect for the moment, be it a Coors...
3.1 Can in Toronto. Richer, more amber-malted lager body, not too strong or syrupy. Hops are present and crisp, but a bit metallic overall. Solid.
2.8 Aroma is spicy and metallic. Sold to me as IPA so not as expected. Nice amber pour with a good head. Tastes of spices and bittersweet herbs. Medium to heavy body. Not exactly a strong pils.
2.4 473ml can. 5.3% abv not as listed here. Definitely not a strong lager. Amber pour, soapy head. Lager and herb aroma. Flavor is super spicy, just striaght spicy hops, if you like an abnormal blast of pukey english hops by all means go for it.
3.9 Aroma is slightly sweet, with coriander and orange peel in the background. Quite pleasant. Taste is sweet malts - a little chewy but mostly really smooth - with some dark fruits and a little citrus. Really good.
