3.2 Keg @ Reubens, Montreal. Light orange pour with a prominent head. Aroma is quite. Ready. Toasted bread. Light huskiness. A touch of caramel. Some mild grass. Mild flavor. Solid balance. Sweet brioche. Some grass. Strong carbonation. Nice malt-forward effort.
3.3 Muito boa lager falta aroma, porém uma ótima escolha para dias quentes. Recomendo tomar a qualquer hora.
3.1 Pours a clear golden orange from the can with fluffy white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of clean sweet malts and mild corn over slight grass. Taste follows, clean and crisp, nice light lager. Decent lager.
3.3 Pint drunk at Casablanca restaurant in Niagara Falls. Clear yellow gold creamy white head. Standard lager but a little vanilla creaminess. Quaff able.
3.9 This is my go-to lager. It actually has some flavour as opposed to most lagers that just taste like water.
3.1 Pretty decent. Not a ton of character, but could drink another of this. Pretty light overall.
3.3 Draft pints and cans while in Ontario, golden brown with a white head. Honey on toast aroma. Bready sweetness of a German lager, cereal malts and floral hops. Superior holiday brew.
3.5 Recommended by a friend and commenting on the quality of the water source. A creamy nice lager, worth the try. Had it with friends after volleyball.
3.3 473 ml Can - Golden color. Small head. Crisp and decent taste. Honest lager.
3.2 Pours clear dark amber with a decent head. Aroma is mildly grainy. Taste is fairly balanced with a bit of bitterness. There are notes of herbal hops and a touch of malt. Crisp finish, medium body, and moderate carbonation. A pretty decent, session beer.
4.8 all time favorite. balanced flavors and a unique sweetness in the aroma and after taste.
5.0 I’m biased :), i’ve been to Creemoore springs and have family up that way. But it really is a great beer with thick mouthy feel
2.6 A very light and macro lager. Not too bad but nothing special. Worth a try is you want to taste a go-to all day beer.
3.0 Sample from can as part of autumn big clean. Aroma: citrus, caramel, light raw wheat. App: clear golden, medium white head leaving great retention. Taste and palate: light to medium body, medium sweetness, crisp light moderate bitter finish. Overall: not bad but not good either. Way too sweet. Good crispiness though. Might have been better fresher.
3.1 Not as good as I remembered it to be. A sweet malt aroma with a hint of nuts. Great looking clear caramel color with a lasting foamy white head. A sweet malt taste with a hint of nuts and a slightly watery feel and a sweet malt finish.
3.5 Veiled dark gold color with stormy activity. Light creamy beige 2 finger head, lasting around 15-20 minutes, and creating a good amount of lacing. Flavors of sweet roasted malts, floral, caramel, noble spices, faint lemony citrus and corn. It’s bready and syrupy sugary but still very sharp and fresh. Silky smooth full body with extra prickly carbonation. Light finish with a faint lingering burnt malty and sugary feel, fresh floral and a little grassy. Overall very good quality craft, a little light and soft but highly zesty and refreshing. Goes quickly flat. Good flavors, well balanced mix. Easy to drink and enjoy.
2.8 Tap at Union Social in Mississauga, ON. Orange brassy colored pour with a wispy white head. Sweet malt, light to medium body. Not offensive.
3.0 On holiday in Canada hazy light amber colored body with a white head and with a floral malt hops aroma a fruity malt hops sweet taste with a bitter finish
2.5 Draft in Toronto. Minimal aroma. Looks like your avg lager (think budweiser). Flavor is maltier than plain American lagers. Overall is lacking. Seems like a run of mill macro.
3.1 Can, same label, while at Wayhome music festival. Not a terrible beer, light, drinkable, less of a metallic aftertaste than Molson, which was the other option. Still nothing out of the ordinary though. Would drink again if options were limited.
3.8 Deep bronze colour. Clear. Malty and corny aroma. Taste is lots of malt with a bit of cheese at the end.
4.2 One of my favorites. Good year-round beer that goes well with a BBQ in the summer or a pub dinner in the dead of winter. Always have this in my fridge.
3.0 Can. On numerous occasions on tap, in cans and bottles. Clear golden-orange body, medium white head with average retention, some lacing. Pleasant herbal aroma: hops, grains, apricots and apples. Taste of caramel malt, apricot jam, a touch of harsh bitter herbs, some metal notes. Due to wide availability, I find myself drinking it too often. Ok.
3.4 draft at a hotel bar near the Montreal Dorval Truedeau Buttlick Twenty Name long International Airport. Pours medium amber, translucent, thin off white head. Nose is minimal. Taste has some light bread notes. Balanced if not a tad to the sweet side. light flowers. light to medium body, pretty damn good.
2.5 Pours a very clear golden with a thin white veil on top that leaves low lacing. Nose is of corn for the most part with some light sweet barley in the back. Taste is lightly sweet and lightly bitter, could be crisper. Moderate body, moderate carbonation. Overall I assume that the recipe has changed since they were acquired by Molson a few years ago looking at the other ratings. As of now this is far from convincing. Better than most macro options but really not in the same game/league as the craft equivalents.
3.2 On tap. Pours a clear amber with a small, off-white head that laces. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, toasted grain, honey and bread. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, bread, toasted grain, honey and grass with a dry, mildly bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. A pretty solid lager.
3.0 341 ml bottle with screw crown cap bought at CitySuper in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui. Clear amber colour; Less than one-quarter finger head with residual soapy white foam which fades in 10 seconds; Fair sticky lacing with barely notable slight carbonation; Quite pungent aroma of Lager malt, with strong caramel, grains, very light cardboard, strong floral, sugar, bread, light lemon and light grass; Mid to light sweet taste of fair Amber malt, with barley grains, caramel, floral, molasses, light bread, lemon, Close to medium bitter hops and grass; Mid to light body. Quite Slick palate; Mouth Feel is fair maltyness in a fairly thin but slick background. Strong Amber characters with fairly Bock-ish, strong caramel and grains. Strong floral and notable but restrained sweetness. Good lemon to round. Pretty good!... Hoppiness is strong floral, light lemon and light grass in nose, and strong er in taste; Bitterness is medium for a lasting, astringent sweet-bitter finish; Fairly dry after taste. Floral, sweet and quite bitter to mouth. Comments: The caramel element is strong and quite pleasing in its aroma, as well as the standout Amber Bock-ish taste. Maybe it’s trying too hard to be a Czech Lager (Polotmavý maybe?), its body is thin and there’s less than impressive grainy taste. Okay to enjoy if I don’t have to pay for the imported price, that is.
2.4 Bottle. Golden color, average white foam. Aroma: malt, candy and a little spicy hops. Taste: mild sweetness, malt, candy and a little hop bitterness.
