Crocodile Original Export Lager

Crocodile Original Export Lager

Aromatic hops which partly explain the dry and soft taste with low bitterness. A beer that is very easy to drink and is suitable to hot summer nights on the porch.

2.0 Can pours a golden yellow. Tastes almost wheat at first although finished much like any other mediocre lager
1.2 Can. Pours clear golden with small white head. Aroma and taste have malt, hay, corn and some yeast. Dry and a bit weird lager. Didn’t enjoy this one much.
2.2 Bottle. Pours clear yellow. Rather happy for a lager, with same diacetyl. Body is loght and rather fruity, with soft but crisp carbonation. Not well balanced. Meh.
1.3 500ml can from Systembolaget. Clear pale golden, medium size, white head, some lacing. Sweet aroma, corn, grains and bread. Sweet and metallic taste, boiled vegetables and canned corn.
2.1 50 cl can from Systembolaget. Clear golden with a medium white head. Moderate malty aroma of bread, hay and lageryeast. Taste reflects the aroma. Light bodied. Average carbonation. Low bitterness.
2.5 330ml green bottle at home in Richmond, as ’Original Crocodile Lager Beer’, 5.2%, brewed at Krönleins. Pale orange, sparkling, translucent, foamy white head, dotted lacing. Aroma is toffee, paper, sugary, melon. Body is light, tingly carbonation, fairly smooth. Taste is papery, more melon, watery, smooth but thin malt, dry finish. Has an interesting fruity character as compared to most pale lagers. Still quite thin and overcarbonated - standard in the style. Drinkable enough, and would choose this over many others in the style.
2.0 Can from Systembolaget. Smell of canned corn and pale bread. Similar taste. A bit watery and bland.
2.8 Bottle @ Rum & Crab, St Ives Cornwall, pale amber with thin white head light hoppy with a slight floral taste, very weak .
2.8 Aroma slightly skunky sweaty socks. Appearance an odd cloudy murky yellow. Litle head, no lacing. Taste is well resiny hops and dry malts. Not the best but very easy to drink and not half as bad as what I was expecting. Fine as lawn mower beer and has its place.
2.8 0,5l can from Systembolaget Övertorneå. Pours pale golden with a high head. Aroma is sweet malts. Flavor is sweet malts, corn and some hops. Surprisingly decent.
2.4 Pours light yellow with some foam. Aroma reveals nothing special. Taste is light, with traces of hops and cooked vegetables in the aftertaste. Not a bad pilsener, but not that great either.
1.7 From historic notes, bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours pale gold with a white head. Aroma is mildly hoppy, with grain and touch of citrus. Medium sweetness. Light bitterness. Light body, thin texture. Finish slightly dry/bitter. Disappointing really.
1.6 Ljusgul klar med vit skum. Doftar och smakar grönsaker och är ganska söt med lite citrus
2.3 Sweden Gold Medal in the world's largest Beer competition The brewing industry international Awards (Da sieht man mal wie schlecht die anderen sein müssen😜) Ganz ordentliches Lager
2.0 Klar, ljus gul, vitt skum. Doft: Gräs, malt, kokta grönsaker. Smak: Malt, vitt bröd, jäst, gräs, kokta grönsaker.
2.0 Clear pale color. Aroma of, malt and lemon. Taste is watery with light bitter finish. Not much else to say about this beer.
2.7 Bottle from JSG Wine Merchants, Hills Road, Cambridge. Regular lager yellow/gold with a bit of white head. Metal, hay, a touch of urine in the aroma... not terrible but doesn’t have that ’Drink Me’ odour... Taste is ok actually. Sweet and corn syrupy but refreshing. The carbonation is intense without being overpowering, making the body feel thicker than it is. Ok. Ish.
1.0 There isn’t much to this, it was worth trying but can’t say it’s one I’ll go for again.
1.8 Maybe one of the best budget beers money can buy. However it is quite weak and lack a lot of characteristics.
1.7 500 ml can. Clear pale golden with white head. Smell is grain and sweet canned corn. Taste is sweet malty with corn and grassy hops. Semi dry with low bitterness and high carbonation.
2.1 @ Havregatan 150110. Can (500 ml) from Systembolaget. Sweet malty and corny with grassy notes, light to medium body with a watery texture. The finish is light bitter and sweet.
2.5 Bottle. Pours a light yellow colour with a mid size white head, weak aroma, taste has some bitterness and rather thin with a dry finish.
1.7 Can 50cl. Medium white head. Clear watery color, bubbly carbonation. Aroma is light malt, cardboard, leaves. Taste is malt, earth. Still quite watery.
2.3 0.5l can poured in an ordinary glass. A: Clear pale yellow color with a one finger head. S: Strange smell I would say, it smells malt grains and yeasts but also something that I’ve never felt before in a beer... (Plastic?) T: Terrible plastic aftertaste... Urgh... I don’t know exactly what it is, I guess it’s corn or sunflower grains. That’s just terrible... M: Light body. Medium carbonation and light bitterness D: Low. Terrible "beer". Just avoid it [ BA Review @ 3/5/2010 ]
2.2 Pretty tasteless and watery beer. The only positive is that the bad tastes are few which makes the beer very drinkable.
2.5 Väldigt ljus medioker lageröl, inte så mycket arom eller smak. Hade inte förväntat mig.
2.3 500ml can poured into a lager glass. Appearance is clear pale golden with small white head, that when reduced left some lacing. Aroma of grains, grass and a hint of lemon zest. Flavours of wheat bread and a hint of lemon zest. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Palate is light bodied, thin texture and lively carbonation. Unoffensive light and quite refreshing beer, flavour is simple with barely noticeable hops. Even though the beer is from Sweden, the artwork on the can makes you expect an Australian beer. I imagine Crocodile Lager would be enjoyable cold in warm Australia. For a budget lager, it is comparatively good.
1.2 Backlog. Tried it canned from Systembolaget. Just another crappy lager, Krönleins rarely impresses me.
Malt kornete lukt. Vannkrise emmen smak. Ingen bitterhet, medium kullsyre.
