3.6 Tap&The Rake, London - Amber coloured pour with small white head. Fruiry and sweet malty with some fruity notes of tangerine, grapefruit, some citrus peel, caramel malty sweetness, assertive hoppy finish.
4.0 Mousse absente, petite effervescence, robe ambrée. Une IPA avec un petit goût sucrée, malté, de caramel. Une très belle bière d'une brasserie irréprochable.
3.8 Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a shaker. Hazy medium amber, small frothy off-white head, mostly diminishing, fair lacing; aroma malts, caramel, grain, orange, grapefruit, pine; smooth taste, medium sweet and bitter, malty, citrus (grapefruit, orange), pine, light caramel; smooth bittersweet aftertaste, peppery notes; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; very smooth and fresh IPA, very good!
4.1 Pours medium orange with small white head and big resinous hoppy nose: orange and grapefruit . Good carbonation. Bitter initial taste with sweeter finish. Medium body, a little oily. Great IPA.
4.0 Bonne ipa avec un gout assez prononcé de caramel qui fait penser aux De Molen. Plutôt bien !
3.7 Bottle from JK Fine Foods. Looks hazy caramel copper with a fluffy toffee beige head. Nice fresh bubbles. Aromas of sweet barley sugars with a lime and grapefruit sting. It’s balances fabulously. Really nice. The first taste and the hops hit with a fresh pithiness swirling around a thick sweet caramel malt. It feels soft and full with a gentle to moderate dry sparkle. Combined with the bold flavours it’s nice and moreish. Such a sweet candy malt base with layers of alcohol warmth and clean bittering hop there’s a little Belgian Tripel about this. It’s big bold and good.
4.0 Bottle from Cromarty brewery. Pours clear Amber gold with medium off white head that persists. Strong pine aroma, resinous, orange peel. Aroma changes as beer warms to slightly dank. Some toffee also caramel present. Taste is moderately sweet with solid bitterness. Mouthfeel is full bodied. quite thick and almost creamy. Decent carbonation and alcohol lift. Residual bitterness is reasonable. Overall a very good IPA.
3.5 Flaska. Klar bärnstensfärgad med ett smutsvitt skum. Smaker och dofter av apelsinmarmelad, malt, grapefrukt och tall. Medelbeska.
3.4 Aged sample Small yellow head ove reddish amber beer, well-carbonated. Rosewater and exotic fruit hops (lychee mainly), bit of caramel, oxydation. Sweet, with hoppy flavours, again rosewater, but with a vegetable/resiny bittterish finish. Warming up, a new, outspoken orange(peel) flavour. Bit light body, low carbonation, hopoilslick. Quite OK! Thanks to Stefaan!
3.8 On keg at the jolly judge. Pours clear dark amber. Nose of pine resin, dank, floral, mango, passion fruit. Taste is spicy, generous, juicy fruit, Orange peel, dry finish.
3.0 (keg) hazy ruby-amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of orange syrup, sweatsocks and granulated sugar, with some notes of sugar icing, chlorine and sweet spices. flavour is heavy herbal hops and bitter orange, with lots of earth, some more light sugar icing and a very bitter finish. medium- to heavy-bodied with lively carbonation.
3.1 From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark gold worth white foam. Aroma is resinous and with some herbaceous. Body is medium-dense. Taste is bitter, markedly bitter. Some time after drafting, the beer shows a weird and unpleasant smell, maybe oxidation, which rings the experience. So my grades are somehow an average of before and after.
3.8 Bottle at home, 27th January 17. Pours amber, little head. Aroma is peach, tropical fruit, pine. Taste is sharp lime, citrus, bitter, as it warms, peach, more mellow, some bitterness, good malt balance.

4.0 Pours copper with a thin white head. Aroma is a sweet, juicy, tropical smell. A malty initial with a stewed red berries middle and bitter kick at the end. Not what I was expecting from the aroma but lovely.

3.5 KeyKeg at the 2016 Cambridge Beer Festival. Golden brown with the hintiest hint of red. Proud off-white head. Pine resin, papaya and a note of PVC in the aroma. Bitter taste tempered at first by sweetness, but then left to its own devices. Full, long, satisfying resinous bitter finish. It’s a bit churlish to say ’I expect more from my IPAs’ while rating this a (well-deserved) 3.5... however it’s a bit too ’by-the-numbers’ for me.
3.6 Floral hops, citrus fruits, some grapefruit, light pine. Clear, dark gold, small, creamy, off-white head. Medium bitter. Citrus fruits again, grapefruit, light tropical fruits too, sweet mango and oranges, bitter finish. Very decent IPA, lovely fruity flavours in the aroma and palate.
