3.1Cask at The Cheshire Cheese, Buxton, Leek (Titanic) A clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of grain, some caramel, slight lemon, subtle butter and spicy, floral hops. Taste of apple, some lemon, caramel, slight butter, subtle grain and spicy, earthy, floral hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dryish, floral hop bitterness in the finish. Wasn’t sure at first as it tasted a little average and buttery but reviewing more got decent spicy, floral hops balanced well with some caramel. Ok.
3.6Flowery beer. Nice golden appearance. Aroma a little over powering but decent taste
3.5500ml bottle from ales by mail. Poured clear, pale golden in colour with a decent foamy white head. Sweet and subtly spicy aromas. Hoppy, slightly grassy flavours with a crisp, refreshingly bitter taste. Nice.
2.5Bottle from Ales By Mail; clear amber pour with a thin white head, aroma has hint of butterscotch and lemon very strange, taste has light caramel, some lemon first CV beer has been disappointing.
2.8Ok, so this seems to be getting pretty high rates but surprised why. Bottle from Waitrose. Nose is buttery, caramel, earthy, citrusy hop, herbal, bit of boiled sweet like it’s been pasteurised. Taste is boiled sweet pasteurised, earthy hop, slight citrous, spicy hop, caramel, barley cereal grain, some dry hop astringency, bit of that butteriness. Not great.
2.9Golden clear beer with very small head.
Aroma is faint, malty and bitter.
Flavor is little buttery, citrusy. Malty and sharply bitter.
3.8Klare dunkel goldgelbe Farbe, ordentliche weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch fruchtig hopfig, gering bitter, Citrusfrüchte, Obst. Geschmack sehr fruchtig, etwas Ananas und Aprikose, dezent hopfig, süffig, gut!
2.7Cask @ The Wharf, Aalborg. Pours a clear, dar kstraw yellow with a small, disappearing, dishwash head. Fresh aroma, note of elderflower at first, which quickly turns into apple. Light spicy hop note as it warms. Flavour is apple; feels somewhat juicy. Spicy hops as well. Same finish, dry anda bit tart. Palate feels a bit stale. Overall okay, but feels too stale and also a bit boring. 28.02.15.
3.5From cask at The Harp Covent Garden. Pours slightly hazy golden with white head. Aroma is spicy, sharp, citrus and some malt, hops. Taste is light to medium sweet, medium bitter, citrus, spicy, some malt. Aftertaste is bitter and fruity, soft carbonation. Good.
3.3Bottle from Morrisons in Newport. Pours out in a clear golden colour with low head and medium body. Aroma of hops, wine corc and straw. Taste of fresh hops, citrus fruits, flowers, grass and light barley. Medium bitter finish. Nice one.
3.7Bottle 50cl. Slightly hazy medium golden color, nice one finger frothy white head mostly lasting, nice lacing; aroma of sweet, fruity aromatic hops, citrus, tangerine, lemon, candy, orange marmelade, dough, herbal notes; smooth low to medium sweetbitter taste, light sour and herbal notes; medium body, smooth oily texture, average carbonation; medium bitter finish, citrus hops linger on, spicy notes. Well-balanced and smooth bitter.
2.822 / 02-2014 golden ale with a small white foam. Get medical attention light flavor and taste.
3.3Cask at The Hope, Carshalton. Light orange, totally clear, still, small bubbly white head. Aroma is very light citrus. Body is medium, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is sweet bubblegum which by itself would be sickly, a musty bitterness saves it and makes it quite nice, a bit of resin. A bit oversweet.
3.7Bottle from AlesByMail.co.uk. Dark golden to amber, clear body, with a medium, creamy, white head. Aroma of citrus, tangerine, some berries, candy, grass, some fresh herbs. Taste with the same aromas, the malt body is really smooth, with honey, biscuit, candy. Mouthfeel is medium, oily, with a smooth carbonation and it finishes medium bitter, fruity and complex malty. Quaffable, easy to drink and still full bodied, with a tasty, multifarious malt body and nice, fresh fruit notes. Really enjoyable!
3.2Bottle. Hazy dirty amber colour with a small bubbly head. Hoppy, a touch dry and fruity, with the latter aspect more prevalent in its nose.

4.0Cask @ Christian Firtal, Odense, right after a fantastic beer tasting in Ulfborg, just before I finally headed home. Pours clear golden with stable white head. Clear aroma of hops, with hints of citrus and fruit. Intense, bitter aroma of hops, with citric and grassy notes, and leafy touches. Rough, bitter aftertaste. Low carbonation. Uhmmm... a really good Golden Ale on cask...
3.6Appearance: Clear light amber with cm thick white head.
Aroma: Lemon, biscuit, floral and spicy.
Taste: Low sweetness, low/medium bitterness and medium sourness.
Palate: Smooth thick texture, light body, average/prickly carbonation, astringent lingering citrus tartness and bitterness in the finish with marmalade and spice at the end.
Comments: Very good, thoroughly enjoyable and refreshing. Left a glass lace.
2.7500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear golden yellow with a very thin white head. Aromas are mostly butterscotch, some citrus. Taste has a light bitterness, more sweetness of a caramel type. More butterscotch. Medium bodied, gentle carbonation. Finishes a bit cloying and soapy. Bottle-conditioning would have improved this immensely.
