2.1 355ml dark bottle, filtered, from Beers Of Europe. Stale hops, honey, mouldy leather. It's OK, but I assume the hops were intended to taste fresh, and haven't survived the journey from Mexico. The malt is a mish-mash of flavours. I mean, its drinkable, but its a fucking mess. It's got character I suppose, but not the sort of character that encourages repeat visits. Gawd.
4.0 Has a nice body and flavor.
3.4 Bottle from Lupe Pinto. Appearance - golden amber with a nice fluffy head. Nose - toffee, biscuits and light citrus. Taste - cake mixture, dried orange and light spiced biscuit. Palate - light to medium bodied. with a crunchy texture. The finish is long and fairly dry. Overall - not a great pale ale but a decent bitter.
2.9 Sweet malty caramel notes to it. Not that much bitterness. It’s like a slightly hoppy brown ale. Decent.
4.0 Pale Ale drink it very cold!
1.7 Bottled. More malty than a typical pale ale. Hop is overwhelmed by grain and caramel.
3.1 Clear deep glowing golden color with a BIG frothy off white head. Ok lacing. The head stays better than expected. Moderate intensity in the aroma, and not that hoppy. Medium body and an average carbonation level. Decent balance between sweetness and bitterness. Still a bit over to the sweet side. Caramel malty, resin, dried fruits and some roast in the end. Decent, but not very joppy. [Bottle from Dag (systembolaget in sweden)] Brewery #1638
2.9 This is one of the better Mexican beers I’ve had....although that doesn’t say much.

2.0 From a bottle. Not sure how well this was stored but it was far from great with some off flavours.
2.6 Flaska på mexikanska restaurangen på Malmö Live. Mörkt bärnstensfärgad öl med orange skum. Doft av malt och karamell. I smaken tillkommer en kryddighet som jag inte riktigt gillar.
4.6 A fantastic ’Pale’ which I think of as a bit more of an amber--with a strong malt and hop presence that makes the beer a lot more filling and interesting than most comparables of the same ABV--SERIOUSLY bummed that I cannot find it on draft in San Diego anymore--such an underrated beer from across the border.
3.1 Smooth palate and clean crisp taste, almost spicy initial hit with a crisp finish.
3.2 Amber orange color with a diminished light beige head. Slightly buttery, lightly toasted malt and hint of pine sap. Earthy to floor malt flavors, with just a hint of toasted bread. A slight sour mash component. Some bitter dried flowers in the finish. Linger is lightly acidic and quite dry. A traditional pale ale. 5/11
3.3 Sample at a tasting event. Amber body with a medium white head. Floral, citrus, some cardboard.

2.7 An amber colour with a white head. Malty aroma. Sweetish, malty taste with lots of caramel flavour. Some hints of resin and apple. Not much bitterness. A little sweet and bland, but at least they have tried it make a complex beer, with some success. Not bad, but not great.
3.3 Bottle. Amber coloured beer with a good head. The aroma is lightly bready and hopped, and the flavour is mildly bitter with a reasonable roasted feel. Overall a reasonable quite strongly flavoured beer.
