5.0 Lovely beer, crisp and refreshing, bought it because it was recommended in The Times, and can see why, definitely worth a try.
4.7 My favourite beer!!
2.5 330 ml bottle, bb 06/2020. Deep gold, crystal clear, head vanished nearly instantly. Nose- sweetcorn, some cooked veg. Taste - sweetish. Not bad. For a lager.
3.0 Keg at ecbf. Pours golden, nose is toffee, floral, grassy, taste is sweet toffee, cereal, grass.
3.0 330 ml bottle. Clear golden with no head. A white grape and citrus aroma. The tiniest bit of acidity and minimal bitterness but enough to finish carrying the beer. For me, it slightly lacks the nelson sauvin and champagne yeast that it champions. I wish these qualities and the acidity were ramped up. It needs more of a bite. Okay, though.
3.2 Bottle at the Pump House, Shirley, Solihull. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a very short-lived fizzy white head. The aroma is gluey skunky malt, light citrus fruit hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light, slightly watery, crisp, malt, light fruity, light dry hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Rather light and watery but with a little flavour and quite refreshing.
5.0 The best lager I have tasted.
2.6 From backlog. 0,3 litre Bottle from Systembolaget Charlottenberg. Golden with white head. Malts, hops, fruits.
4.0 I first tried this on my 18th birthday and has been a firm favourite of mine since, very nice flavour and not bitter, very nice for a casual drink.
2.1 Not sure what went wrong with my bottle but it was as flat as a witch’s tit.
3.5 11/05/2018 bottle. Aroma : very bready, grassy. Taste: grassy saaz hop taste, slight tropical notes on taste, bready malt . Overall: as lagers go this is great. Flavourful, not overly gassy, and poking a Toe into the pale ale realm. Nice!
2.6 Bottle, Waitrose. Nice bright golden colour, white foam. Hint of fruit in the aroma. Sweetish malts. Otherwise just bland, forgettable beer-like liquid.
3.1 Pleasantly surprised. Refreshing and crisp with a much more complex profile than I was expecting. Light citrus fruits. Clean and crisp sums it up. From keg.
3.5 Chapel Down have tried to do something interesting with this. The end result is fine, I like it, good session lager. Though unfortunately, not at all interesting. (Bottled, no1 lounge at Birmingham airport)
3.4 Lovely caramel malts coming through. Its fizzy and alive yet smooth and spicy. Not much going at the hop end but thats fine. I think this is really rather good for a brit lager. Impressed.
2.2 Piana niska drobnopechezykowa utrzymoje sie dluzej niz sie spodziewalem. Barwa jasna zlocista . Aromat intensywny zywiczny z nuta owocowy. W smaku jest juz slabej , slodko I bez wyrazny.
2.4 Bottle a gift from my daughter from her trip to Canterbury. Light fruity aroma. Very fruity taste with low bitterness. Tiny body.
2.5 Bottled at TEJA tasting. Hazy golden, small head. Fruity citrus aroma. Mid sweet with light body and clean mouthfeel. Jam and overripe fruit. Mid bitter finish.
2.5 Bottle, in a pub in London near to Charing Cross station. Poured yellow/gold with an average sized white head. Aroma is sweet corn, grain, and grass. Quite sweet, light bitterness. Light to medium body, oily texture. Carbonation average to soft. Not keen.
3.1 Pours yellow with light white head. Aroma is sweaty, salty, grass, some hay, malts. Taste is bitter, dry, hay, some fruits, metal. Drinkable beer.
2.1 Bottle from Waitrose. Pours somewhat acid yellow with almost non-existent head. Very odd aroma, somewhat chemical (nail varnish remover??) and vegetables. Very insipid. Didn’t really enjoy this.
3.1 33cl bottle at Wetherspoons Doncaster Airport. Medium creamy white head. Clear golden pour. Slight bitterness. Ok.
3.3 Bottle from Uncle Phil for 40th birthday (eeek). Quite good lager really. Super clean and thin. Sweet, ethereal lightness on tongue. There were sips that brought to mind layering one’s tongue in plastic cement. Airfix Dinosaur. Totnes. 1985.
3.0 A light lager, macro tasted. Sweet body, wet finish. A little yeasty with low hops flavor.
2.8 4.7%, bottle. golden with a white limited head. Aroma of malts and yeast. Taste of citrus, malt, dry, weird hops, grassy, herbal bouquet, sour notes, medium body.
2.7 Bottle at no1 lounge, heathrow. Clear golden color, white head. Aroma has malts and some lager hops. Light malty body, quite fresh, some hoppy notes at the end.
