2.5 Old Untappd checkin, March 30, 2018. Brown glass bottle. Subtle malty aroma. Light on flavor, slightly sweet with a crisp finish.
2.8 33cl fles bij Nomad’s A’dam. 4.8%. Goudgeel, witte kraag. Moutig zoet, honing, iets grassig. Licht-bittere finish. Prima pilsje, geen rare bijsmaakjes.

2.8 Cusqueña Golden Lager. ABV 4,8%.
2.7 Old rating from 2010 - 330ml bottle found in UK supermarket, first enjoyed many times on my Peru 2002 trip. This one pours clear golden with a off white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, earth, grain & malt. Moderate body. Light bitter finish
3.0 Bonne lager, une note prononcé de houblon !
0.6 Rating copied from Untappd. Bought at Systembolaget and enjoyed on the way to an AIK game on 9 apr 2015.
2.7 Mine too says 4.8% ABV. Slightly darker yellow pour with a slightly off white thin head. Aroma of corn and malt extract. A bit gritty with a slight metallic taste. Aftertaste is a bit bitter but also a little odd. Different. Not horrible but not great. Bottle.
2.8 Clear rich golden hue with a thin spotty white head. Slightly oxidized golden malty aroma that’s got a hint of malt syrup to it, but otherwise pretty delicate and light. Smooth light body with a semisweet Lagery golden malty flavor. Light syrupy malt finish.
1.9 I Label claims B 4.8% ABV /B /I Copperish clear golden beer with a dense, small, slightly cream-tinted head. Sweet malts, cornflakes, honey, honeypops, sugarbread. More of the above. Sweet, partly lightly toasted malts, with a more neutral, dead ending. Light carbonation, bit slick to sticky, light body. Despite the low carbonation, there's so little flavour that the CO² actually gives some acidity. Industrial pilsener, and not even one of the better.
1.9 Catching up on a number of reviews. Scores recorded at the time but not detailed notes.
4.5 Best of the macros in the Americas. The malt bill is quite unique and full of malty goodness, while still staying pretty dry and decently hopped for a macro lager. Full flavored lager in the tradition of German brewing with a New World twist. I go for this every time it's available. A few years ago I had their quinoa special edition and that was almost heavenly and probably the best lager I've ever had. This is coming from a mostly IPA drinker but due to my travels have had over 100 kinds of local brews which are mostly lagers worldwide.
3.4 11.2 oz bottle Pours a dark gold with a tight white head. Lacing. Malty grassy smells. Very malty with sourdough bread tastes. Short sour finish. More going on than the plainer lagers. Above average carbonation and a dry mouthfeel. Surprisingly good.
2.8 Bottle 33cl. as Cusquena Dorada, 4.8 abv @home poured into a footed pilsner glass. Clear deep golden colour, fair frothy white to off-white head, half-way lasting, patchy lacing. Aroma sweet malt, grain, bit yeast. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, grainy. Light body, oily texture, soft carbonation, semi-dry sweetbitter aftertaste, malty notes, some cardboard, not that bad...
Angehemer Geruch. Süffig.
5.0 I have poured Cusqueña Dorada from a bottle and I am passionate about its aroma, flavor and above all its history. It was made for the first time in Cusco (navel of the world) in 1908. It was the first beer called Premium Beer and is recognized as such at national and international level. Visually it presents a consistent foam with a perfectly filtered elegant golden color. Fine aroma with a slight citric character typical of the Saaz hops. They complement the very pleasant esters in the mouth. Exquisite caramel malt tone with an adequate level of bitterness. Nice, balanced medium body with good drinkability. It leaves a harmonious memory and reminds me of the ritual that is mentioned in Cusco: before knowing the ruins of Machu Picchu, you must know a work of art: CERVEZA CUSQUEÑA.
2.2 Bought a six-pack at Discount so that I could check another country off my list. Pretty average lager - very sweet, some corn, a little bitterness at the back end. Carbonation is pretty well done - just enough and not too much. Not bad.
3.2 Uma pilsen encorpada, sabor bem maltado e ainda refrescante. Cor dourada e espuma branca.
2.5 Clear golden appearance. Aroma is malt and hops. Flavour is malt, bitter, hops and sweet
3.0 strågul, korn, fin, bitterhet, frisk og fin munnfølelse.....................
2.3 With Audrie. at Mezze, with Lomo Salgado, arguably a classic Peruvian dish, not much in the way of beer selections....pour clears light gold like every lager. Grainy nose. Taste is wheaty , malty and watery but served ice cold making it more palatable. Finishes on the same tasting notes. Earlier Rating: 12/4/2016 Total Score: 1.3 Bottle, with Josh and Audrie, at dinner in Santiago, Chile at D’leite....pours a clear golden color with an ephemeral small white head. Nose is grainy and bland. Taste , or more to the point there is no taste, bland and watery. Must be the Corona or Bud of Peru...would have happier with a coke ! Quaff Score 2 / 10
1.7 In einer peruanischen Bar in Berlin. Goldener klarer Körper mit einem Strich Schaum. Aroma: Malz, Getreide, Süß. Geschmack: Süßlich durch Malz. Zucker. Pappe.
2.5 Es sin duda la mejor cerveza de Perú, un sabor con mas carácter que las otras cervezas comerciales que venden en su país. Y el que está sea la mejor habla de lo pobre que es la cultura cervecera de Perú.
