3.0It has a dark brown color , a medium bitter taste and medium carbonation. Pretty good beer overall.
2.9Dark, opaque beer with quickly disappeared head. Cork of dark bread, small bitterness in aftertaste. Light body, high carbonation.
2.9Can...pours a clear col color beer with a small tan tight-pored cap...aromas are front...light sweetness roasted malts, light grassiness. Flavor is smooth and pleasing even if uneventful...decent roast malt in front, malt forward, noble hops in the background...verges on sweet bit eh finish is long and smooth with chocolate sweetness at the end...decent enough dunkel for a commercial brewer.
3.0Can - 500ml. Pours a dark brown body with an average off-white foamy head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with brown sugar and plummy hints. Its simple, well balanced malty/hoppy taste carries woody, plummy, and some roasty notes. Ends with a decent bittersweet finish. Average Tmavy.
2.5Sample from a can
Black color, beige head with medium to short retention. Aroma has notes fo toasted malts with hints of dry fruits. Flavor is moderate bittery, light roasty, toasty, malty notes. Slightly sweet in the aftertaste with roasty notes.
3.1the aroma: malty and herbal with shades of fryed grain, nuts, sunflower seeds and bread...
the taste: caramel and floral with notes of grain, raisin, berries, black bread and some grasses...
the aftertaste: sweet, bitter and dry...
2.7Dark lager con bastante presencia de tueste. Espuma efervescente. Algo áspera. Bastante bebible.
3.3A tall can from Bottle Jockey in north Burnaby. A dark beer with ruby highlights and a generous tan head. Nose is sweet and malted. Sweet medium roasted malt notes on the palate. Low bitterness. Not bad at all for a brown bag special. 3.3
3.2Can. Clear dark cola body, medium beige head with decent retention and some lacing. Aroma of caramel, dark berries, blueberry jam, hints of cocoa and diacetyl. Taste of roasted malts, burned caramel, mineral water and toast. Decent, but a tad washed out.
2.350cl can in Riga. Dry neutral beginning. Malt and drain, very dry neutral. The bitterness is low, the beer has only hints of roast and a grainy body. Very neutral with nearly no depth, the whole beer seems to be unround. Tastes more like a cheap brew than a DAB-product. Very sad. Grainy dry aftertaste with hints of dry malt.
2.9Can 0,5.
Exterior: not black but dark by name. A wonderful looking, colored beer and its head is also beautiful, sticky. It smells much less than many browns. Earthy, caramel character. I wondered if it was "wet," but it wasn't. If I sip slowly, I always feel what I need: roasted malt, even hops. Malt brown beers are also available. It was a pleasant surprise for me. There were, there are better browns, but not bad. But the more expensive it could be, the more it could provide.

A malátás barna sörök kellékei is megvannak. Nekem kellemes meglepetés volt. Volt, vannak jobb barnák, de nem rossz.. Viszont amilyen drága, annál többet is nyújthatna.
3.0Decent foamy head that quickly dissipates. Strong grainy aromas right out of the can. A slight metallic taste when cold, but it goes away very quickly. Typical lager-esque dark beer bitter palate with tasting notes of bread crust and roasted grains. For a beer to kick back with, DAB never dissapoints!
2.6Aroma of malt and grains. Taste is light bitter, malty, light sweet, toasted.
3.5Dark brown color with brown and quickly disappearing head.
Aroma: caramel
Taste: light sweet
2.7500ml can from Billa, drunk at home. Pours clear with a thin fast-settling frothy head, lacing while the head lasted, no bead. Very dark reddish brown in colour, almost opaque. Aromas include toasted bread, smoke and cereal. Quite fizzy in the mouth releasing some toast and roasted malt flavours, perhaps slightly nutty. Some sweetness which lingers into an aftertaste and gentle bitterness. Hardly mouth-filling but not too watery either. Overall, an ordinary dunkel.
2.850cl Can @ Carrefour, Seville, Spain.
Dark brown colour with a thin tan head.
Aroma is roasted malt, grain, sweet.
Taste is roasted malt, bread, caramel.
Light body, average carbonation.
2.0Can. From Carrefouf. In Bavaria hefe glass. Playing Broken Age. Apart from a slightly unpleasant dertergent touch, in both aroma and taste, like a Fairy, there only is flatness and boredom here. Too much foamy also, although dissipates quickly
3.2Canned from Carrefour. Nose is toasted malts, toasted bread, grainy. Flavour is bready, bit of toastiness. Slightly bitter and fairly sweet. Well drinkable.
2.8Lata 0,5l Color marron oscuro, negro con espuma de color beige, fina, alta, medio resistente.Aroma malta tostada, cereales, caramelo, pan.Sabor malta tostada, cereales, pan, caramelo, muy fino amargor y suave dulzor. Postgusto mas dulce que amargo, malta tostada
2.7Can - Pours dark with some amber highlights and a smallish head. Sweet, roasted malt aroma. A bit aqueous with some sweet and slightly bitter taste. Very average.
2.6Dark brown beer with beige head. A beer that offends noone. Not very bitter or intense in flavour or aroma, just smooth and easy to drink. Has the dark malt aroma it´s supposed to have and not too much else. Very basic but pleasant dark beer.
3.2Can - Toasted cocoa and dark malts. Deep brown with a rich beige head. Dark bready notes, molasses and cocoa. Long finish. Not bad.
3.2Piwo wypite jakiś czas temu. Ocena wystawiona na podstawie wspomnień z degustacji, w ramach uzupełnienia profilu.
2.5500 ml can from LCBO. Pours an orange-tinged dark brown with fluffy light tan head. Aroma is grains, newsprint and some burnt caramel. Flavour has lots of graininess, wet straw, sweet caramel and a burnt toasty note. Meh.
3.2Dark brown color. Medium+ carbonation.
Aroma: a bit of chocolate and dark bread, touch of noble hops.
Flavor: Quite mild. A bit of roasted character, dry dark bread. Mostly balanced, finishes with a nice hit of chocolate. Not the most flavorful, but good.
3.1500ml can. It was a quite sweet dunkel. Caramel, sweet malt you can feel in taste, maybe hint of bread. It is a bit watery, fizzy for a dark beer i think, but not bad at all. A typical beer for women. :)
3.2Deep brown, dense ivory head. Dark malts on nose. Light body. Lively carbonation. Dryish taste with obvious roasted malts dominance. Light bitterness. Schwarzbier it is I guess. OK
2.6Clear deep brown with a medium light tan head. Rather week dark bread aroma. Not too sweet, carbonation dominates both the taste and the palate. Waterry.
3.0Pours a dark dark brown/black with a thin off white head. Very slight roasted malt aroma. Sweet, small bready flavor. I want it to become a little "chewy" as it warms but its not. Overall this isn’t bad I think it would be better if it was a little bit thicker.
