Keg, Can, & Bottle: Filtered

This is the story of a beer style that was discovered more or less by accident: when we started exporting our award-winning brew to the farthest corners on the planet, we brewed a stronger, hoppier concentrate that was supposed to be diluted with water at its destination.

We soon found out, that our beer wasn’t diluted after all, and consumers loved the extra hoppy flavours of our brew. This changed the beer world forever, and laid foundation to the world famous Dortmunder Export beer style we know today.

A pale, bottom-fermented blond lager. It is a harmoniously balanced, crisp and easy-to-drink beer with pleasing notes of hops and malt. A very well-rounded taste profile with a soft and elegant texture.

2.6 Clear golden body and white head. Light bread malt aroma, some cereals and low herbal. Grainy, bread and some caramel taste with some spice. Medium bitter and dry finish. Medium carbonation and body. An average beer.
3.0 Hazy yellow gold. Cream white head, soapy bubbled. Cereal, straw nose. Fresh. Crackers taste, non descriptive though pleasant. Wet mouthfeel, non-tingling with a slight warmth. Modest carbonation. Light finish. Ok On May 7 2023 From 500 ml can. Clear yellow gold and center upstream. White head creamy of compact bubbles, malt nose. Smooth watery first taste. Non bitter. Little to distinguish, a white bread not unpleasant flavor. Soft mouthfeel. Slowly warming. A game day beer or picnic. Light finish. The 500 ml, would suggest having another - then designated driver.
4.5 Nachmielone wyżej niż rodzime koncerniaki, puste nie jest, gra gitara. Po prostu mix slodowochmielowy moim subiektywnym zdaniem nie jest najlepszy, ale generalnie piwerko jest w porządku.
3.1 Pours a clear yellow with a slight white head with minimal lacing. Nose is herbaceous. Taste is caramel with hop bitterness in the sry finish. Warming th e beer revealed a whisky character. Interesting. Mouthfeel is light. 500ml can Packaged 4/20, BBY 4/23
2.5 Can 0.5L. Clear golden body with an average, frothy, white head, mostly diminishing with virtually no lacing. Light-to-moderate hoppy (herbal) and light malty (cereal) aroma. Moderate bitter flavour with light sweet notes; short bitter finish. Light-to-medium body with watery texture; average carbonation.
3.0 Not really a bad beer at all surprisingly. Kind of acceptable german lager with a little bit more bitterness
4.0 Öl,gott,vet it
2.6 Pours clear golden with a two finger, white head. Aroma is light caramel and bread. Taste is caramel, moving to bread. Finish is caramel.
3.0 Clear gold pour, smaller head that fades out. Bready aroma, some pale malt. Bread up front, light citrus, grains. Light to medium body.
3.9 Malty aroma, bread, creamy and grainy sweet. Taste malty, but not sweet. Refreshing, crispy beer, with clean profile. Medium body. Pleasant, creamy finish. Golden color. Low bitterness.
3.4 Looks lovely in the glass. Aroma is grain and mildly flowery grass. Taste is Dortmunder all the way, with deep bread and malt taste.
3.3 Canned, from Systembolaget Clear pale golden, small head. Fruity, bready nose with some grass. Mid dry with light to medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity malt, quite firm. Mild grassy hops. Mid bitter finish. Pleasant
2.8 4-pack of cans, which at least keeps it from being skunked. Not that bad lager. Germany's uninspired mass lagers are better than America's. Light on hops, not enough grain for cereal flavor and kind of sweet, but it isn't too light.
3.0 Can. Deep gold colour, with a head that dissipates fairly quickly. There's a fair bit of bready malt on the aroma, maybe a bit of acetaldehyde but it's light. On the palate, it's similar. That little bit of extra bready malt to highlight the style, but again a sort of tartness that speaks to more industrial production. Good enough as industrial lagers go.
4.4 Piwo ikona stylu- Dortmunder. Nuty siarkowe, czyli zgodnie ze stylem- w Dortmundzie maja twarda wode. Delikatnie czus slody.Brak innych chmielowych aromatow. Krystalicznie przejrzyste, ladny zloty do jasno złotego kolor, silna karbonacja, piana umiarkowana, drobnopecherzykowa, niezbyt trwala. Smak solidnie slodowy, jeczmienny, zakwasowo-chlebowy z nutami siarkowymi, przechodzacymi w wytrawny, mineralny finisz z dosc silna goryczka, dosc trwala. Rześki i czysty. Przyjemne medium, w miare silna karbonacja. Bardzo dobry balans miedzy slodowoscia i goryczka chmielowa sprawia, ze jest to piwo wrecz idealnie zbalansowane. Piwo jak ikona Dortmundera nie moglo zawiesc. 100% w stylu. W pół drogi miedzy pilsem i hellesem. Jak na ogolnie dostepne bardzo dobre. Mozna by poprawic wyczuwalnosc chmielow w aromacie, bo tak jest dosc monotometayczne, to wtedy byloby juz perfecyjne.
3.0 330ml draft in a bottle from lowcostbeer.com. Light hazy gold, small white head, minimal retention. Aroma of pale malts, slightly grainy in note and lemon. Taste is grainy, bread, some citrus and spice. Its fine but a little dulled. Carbonation a little on the low side but probably not in top condition. Still has a nice smoothness. Its ok.
2.0 June 2021. 1 litre plastic bottle filled from a near date keg by lowcostbeers. I think I need to select carefully which beers I buy from lowcostbeers. These litre bottles filled from the near date keg/cask are fine if the beer is high abv or robust, but a 5% pale lager is not a robust beer. There is some carbonation, but the beer is a little sour, such that in a pub you'd take it back and get a fresh one. It's not often that keg beers do taste sour - one of the reasons why pubs like them - but is this is clearly out of condition. The label on the bottle says 4.8% abv. [2.0]
3.2 Słaby aromat słodowy. Smak półsłodki, słodowy, zbożowy. Jakiś tam ślad ziołowości od chmielu jest. Czysty profil. Leciuteńkie utlenienie. Pełnia średniowysoka, nagazowanie niskie, goryczka niska. Przyjemne, ale niesamowicie płaskie piwo.
3.7 17.02.2022 Aromat słodowy nic innego żadnego chmielu Klarowne złociste biała obfita piana opadająca Smak słodki minimalnie, goryczki prawie brak, chmiel może jest taki ziemisty Nagazowanie duże, wytrawne, ciało niskie. Ogólnie ikona stylu no i tu chyba.nic dodać nic ująć, dla mnie trochę inaczej smakujący koncerniak, można spróbować.
3.7 Clear brassy gold with foamy lacy white head Aroma nice fresh grain Flava is nice fresh grain and bready slightly tangy Feels light to medium with decent fizzy zing Finishes dry tangy bitter
2.5 Piwo jasno złote, idealnie klarowne z białą średnio i grubo pęcherzykową pianą. W aromacie słodowe, lekko chmielowe z metalicznymi nutami. W smaku wytrawne, pustawe, goryczka średnia z dosyć wysokim wysyceniem.
3.5 500ml can, served fridge cold in straight pint glass. Crystal clear golden beer, with tight head. Subtle hoppy aroma. Slightly malty biscuity flavour, with a bitter traditional hop flavour. Slightly bitter, but refreshing after taste. A very good lager.

3.7 Classic lager grass smell, but sweet and good. Clear color, low head. Taste of grains actually, round and not over the top. Fantastic imo; not the most fancy beer for sure, but great.
2.3 Bready crackery on the nose . Straw color with a thick white head. Sweet malt up front. Some bread and not much else. Lots of pepper in bitterness. Slick mouthfeel with a blah finish. Below average.
2.5 Burk. Klar gyllengul öl med ett vitt skum. Doft och smak av malt, säd, hö och lätta citrustoner och en lätt beska.
3.1 Helt okej öl. Hade kunnat få vara lite kraftigare i smaken
