It’s not as heavy bodied and malty as many IPA’s, in contrast the palate is more crisp and dry. If you consider yourself a "hop-head" you owe it to yourself to grab this beer.

3.9Keg at BrewDog Lothian Road. Clear golden/amber body with a thick off-white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange rind, stone fruits and grain. Flavour of pine resin, grapefruit and bitter lemon. Medium body with an oily texture. Light fizz. A tasty beer that reminds me of Sixpoint’s Resin.
3.1On tap at Brewdog Oxford. Pours a dark copper gold with a white head. Aroma: biscuity malt, mild nutty and earthy notes. Very mild aroma. Taste: citrus, biscuity malt, bread, earthy, mild pine flavours. A little bit bland and unbalanced. Thin bodied with a crisp mouthfeel. Moderate carbonation. Moderate to high bitterness with an acidic aftertaste. Part of me suspects that there was something wrong with this keg. This was quite dull and overly acidic. Will try again to compare.
3.4Hazy orange colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have a fair amount of malt sweetness. Well balanced IPA woth a bitterness that grows in the aftertaste.
3.512 ounce bottle. Pours a somewhat cloudy gold with a decent white head. Aroma of citrus and pine. Taste is grapefruit, tropical, pine, and malt. Pretty good.
4.2This is a killer IPA. Great finish, not bitter. Good stuff. Really impressive taste and good hoppy quality.
3.3From Apr 2008
I got this in a trade with joe1510. Thanks Joe!
This pours a cloudy orange with a 2 finger head of foam with some good lacing. Head retention is average.
The smell is certainly big on the grapefruit. Behind the citrus, I can just detect some light maltines.
The taste surprised me a bit. The grapefruit is really strong here but there's more malt than I would have guessed from the smell. It still doesn't balance the hops but it's there along with a fruity flavour. The mouthfeel borders on medium, the carbonation is medium light, and it finishes with a sharp bitter bite.
This is an interesting IPA and pretty drinkable...I like the bitterness here; it kind of reminds me of Bridgeport IPA, which I'm very fond of. Good stuff.
3.7Bottle. It poured a dark gold with a nice tight white head. The hoppy aroma has notes ofgrapefruit and pine. It has a nice moderately bitter taste.
3.9Aroma sweet and hoppy with bready malt.. It has a frothy head with a hazy, orange-gold appearance. Flavors of citrus and substantial hops. Light bodied and thick textured, this beer is very drinkable and kinda delish.
3.7Bottle. Misty amber colour, moderate off-white head. Low retention. Hoppy aroma: tropical fruit, citrus fruit, dank. Background honey malts. Light to medium body. Dry taste. Medium hop bitterness with notes of grapefruit, spruce. Long hoppy finish. Good
3.3Bottle from Total Wine, South Richmond. Pours murky brown with a small off-white head. Floral aroma right off the bat, followed by bread and citrus. Flavor is apricot, some citrus, pine, resin. It’s fine.
3.5Dark copper pour with off white head. Citrus with pine nose. Flavor has orange zest, lemon with hint of roasted malt on the finish. Nice bitter finish.
3.7Fizzy caramel appearance with very thick lacing. Dank aroma. Malty notes with mild hop finish.
2.5Bottle. Overall is very strong on the floral notes, a bit much so for my taste. Medium finish, fairly smooth. Okay all around but not super impressed.
3.6Tap at rfd. Pours slightly cloudy orange some head and lots of lacing. Nose is floral and fruity. Flavours of mango, some grapefruit, fruit juice. Taste light/med bitter light sweet. Full silky body lively carbonation.
3.6(Bottle) Dark red, clear body with a medium off-white head that leaves a thick coat of solid foam lace on the glass. Aroma is malty caramel, nutty, sour apple, cherry, hint of bubblegum, cedar. Medium body, smooth and creamy, soft carbonation. Sweet, brown sugar, caramel, dank, earthy, slight metallic note, grass, bitter finish.
3.6An amber color with a white head. The aroma contains some caramel, herbal notes, and citrus. The flavor is bitter but also malty. East Coast represent. The flavor contains some lemons, orange peel, and caramel notes. Some sour and bitter notes in the finish. Overall i prefer west coast hop bombs this balances things out well. Pretty good.
4.0Solid IPA, grapefruit-orange sweetness meshing with a mild caramel malt base. Piney and resinous on the fade with a bracing, resilient bitterness. Lovely.
3.6pours cloudy amber color with fluffy tan head. the aroma is grapefruit, citrus, resin. the flavor is grapefruit and small amount of citrus up front with caramel at the end and some roasted flavors. bitterness is smooth all the way through with a medium body and creamy mouth feel. Leaves dry with very little after taste, refreshing and keeps you wanting more to sip.
3.7Bottle shared by oRos. Pours amber with a bubbly beige head and an herbal citrus aroma. There is a medium-bodied pale malt flavor with a fairly bitter sinish. Very malty for an IPA.
3.7On tap at Beertemple, Amsterdam.Hazy orange pour with an off-white head. Notes of citrus and orange hops, caramelised malts, generic hop bitterness. A decent IPA, quite drinkable.
2.7The aroma is full of hops, citrus, lime, lemon, pine, caramel malt and mango. The color is murky, dark caramel. The taste is full of hops, pine, caramel malt and citrus. A nice beer!
3.212oz bottle pours amber with smallish white head lively carbonation with a grassy aroma flavor is mostly, if not all hops.
3.212 oz bottle. Didn’t see a date but the bar was dark. Hops are vegetal and pine. Hop oil extract. Seems a bit old, like I said didn’t see a date so don’t know for sure. Stronger and darker malt than I’d typically expect from an IPA. Caramel and toffee.
3.3Bottle from Total Wines, Sterling VA. Amber in colour, with a decent, white, head. Plenty of grassy hops, tangerine fruit, slightly bready malts, before a dry, hoppy finish. Good.
3.0Hoppy, grapefruit, tangerine, pine syrup. Sticky palate with a drying finish. Slightly sweet, which is a setback on the palate, but otherwise a big, bold IPA.
3.7Pours a nice hazy amber with a big, frothy white head. Aroma of pine, lemon zest, cereal, grapefruit, more resiny pine, light brown sugar. Taste starts out moderately sweet, turning into a medium, dry hop bitterness. The dry, bitter finish brings back grapefruit and pine. Medium, slender body with an oily feel. Medium carbonation.
Had this a few times after I encountered it by accident at Brot & Spiele Graz (it’s not always available). All four bottles I have had across Europe varied for a bit. When it’s fresh, the hops really shine. While the malt backbone is pretty lean, it still backs up the hops with a toasty malt aroma and feeling in terms of body. When it’s not that fresh anymore, the hops fade into the malt body - it’s less crisp than expected, but still super dry. Really good IPA, can be a bit harsh. But I always enjoyed it quite a bit. Maybe because it’s so hard to get around here.
3.5Bottle shared. Nice juicy fruitiness, decent malt backbone, fairly classic stuff yet solid ipa. A bit too simple maybe in this new era of galactic whales and unicorns.
