According to Mayan and Hopi calendars the "transition from one world age to another" will happen on December 21, 2012. As an homage to the "transition" DC Brau has concocted an Imperial IPA named "On the Wings of Armageddon".

3.7Can.
Gold pour with a mostly white head.
Aroma has some citrus, pine, damp woodsy soil, honey.
The favor is well balanced, not too sweet or too bitter and neither is lacking.
3.4On tap at Capitol City Brewing. pours clear gold with an off-white head. Lots of lemon, citrus, pine. Bit of cleaning fluid.
4.0A truly exceptional double IPA -- no negative remarks for this beer. It is big, bold, tasty and just great all around.
3.6Can pour into nonic pint glass from Total Wine & More, Danvers. Appearance is clear golden orange with trace sparkle, finger-width fizzy off-white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is citrus, dank, whiff of hay/herb/vegetal and caramel malts. Taste is citrus, dank resin, floral, caramel malt backbone. Palate is medium bodied with smooth, thick texture, average carbonation, mild pleasant alcohol warmth and finish as taste. Overall, this was at the outside of its freshness window (born on 8/9/18) so not sure this is the fairest test. Nothing noteworthy or especially impressive.
3.912oz can thanks to Toby pours out amber topped with a sand head. Nose is nice crisp citrus hops some light toast bread malts. Taste is more of the nice citrus hops a little pine banknote and a well balanced malt bill.
3.9Clear orange pour with aroma of tropical fruits, caramel, and some citrus. Flavorful tropical fruit flavor with some caramel and bread. Very tasty.
4.012-ounce can brought in my suitcase and consumed seaside in the Cayman Islands. The mighty hop aroma and flavor are impressive at this abv. No heavy maltyness. No booziness. Wish beers this good were available here. Cayman has a long way to go.
3.912 oz can from Tavour. First Washington DC beer. Aroma is citrus peel, mango, sex, some caramel that reveals itself after sitting a bit. Pours hazy golden with a one finger cream-colored head with decent retention. Taste is moderate to highly bitter with lots of citrusy hop flavor. Not boozy at all for the ABV. Perfect mouthfeel. Very nice.
3.6Can after golf. Nice amber color, white foam, vanished a bit quick. Pretty good DIPA, nice malt balance and big tropical citrus hop with a little pine. Bitterness high but not too much for the malt. Drinks very easily for abv. Good stuff.
3.9Fat på Chapter. Maltig lite sötma med torkade frukter. Hyfsad balans med sötma o bra beska. Varför inte högre, jo mer smaker o bättre beska=högre betyg.
3.9Pours a nice slightly hazy amber from a tap. Big fruity aromas and flavor, well-balanced. Pretty good beer.
3.912 ounce can. Amber orange color. Large rocky beige head. Rich caramel malt nose. Bittersweet toasted malt flavor. Notes of caramel and pine hops. Big warming alcohol prescence. Lightly carbonated.
3.6On tap at DC Brau, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out rich resinous and piney hops upfront, with a toasted caramel malt backbone. Flavour is loaded with rich resinous hops upfront, along with pine, and sweet caramel malt. Loads of sticky resinous oils on the palate, with a pronouncedly sweet body that is a bit much. Good stuff, but overrated.
3.8Picked up a six pack at Whole Foods
Canning date of 1/5/2018. Really enjoyed the first couple of cans, the more I have it the more I am not as happy.
3.4From notes. Tasted at Great American Beer Festival. Will add more notes if I get to try this again. Pretty good.
4.0Pours clear orange, light brown head. Aroma I tense grapefruit. Taste is nice balance of malt and citrus hops. Moderately bitter. Pretty good.
4.0Orange with a white head. Bright citrus and pine throughout with a good hunk of reserved sweet malt. The brightness is a welcome change from most DIPAs, which are usually a bit more resinous, IMO. This is real nice.
5.0Cans from 2015. Stored in cellar and then chilled at 44. Nice head and wonderful aroma. Have had this before and as always one of the best Imperial IPAs I probably like this better than Ghandi Bot.
3.5Can (12oz). Clear orange with white head. Light aroma. Taste some citrus and some pine. Good, but nothing special.
3.9Can from tavour. Really dank hops on first impression. Very clean. In have to say that it’s fairly close to piney the elder. Nice orange zest and cat piss hops with some nice malts to robert ndnit out.
Doftar tung inlands Dipa. Vad fan är det då? Jo Blött gräs, fallna höstäpplen . Oj i munnen krämig känsla . Tung malt med fin beska och druvig smak. Ja om du köper druvjos på Willys så fattar du. Blåa druvor. Värmer i munnen efter du svalt. Bra Dipa i klassisk inlands stil.
3.8Cans from Yes! 9-14-17

3.3June 12, 2015 - with blankboy, jercraigs and mabel - 355ml can. Cool can! Hazy bubbly orange with a tiny white head - and a ton of white sediment. Alcohol and sweet malt, quite bitter; straddles the BW/DIPA divide. Taste is big - citrusy malt and alcohol overpower what seem to be pretty faded hop bitterness - still decent. Thick, light carbonation, medium-length hot finish; would love to try it freshly tapped.
4.4Can. Pours copper medium off white head. Great aroma of citrus and pine. Medium-high sweet taste. Medium body, refreshing sweet and medium bitter finish. Very good imperial ipa.
3.6Draft. Citrus nose, with some herbalness and resin. Caramel on the palate balances out the heft of the hops. Good balance. Finishes a little wet.
3.8355ml can shared by Margus, thanks! Almost clear orange pour, small white head. Nose is fruity, oranges, malts and caramel. Flavor is sweet, fruity, hoppy. Finish is grapefruity bitterness and mild sweet malts. Lingering grapefruit bitterness. Very drinkable considering the ABV. Pretty nice.
3.9Can (thanks margus). Pours golden. Aroma is sweet, fruity, citrus, mango. Flavor is sweet and bitter, fruits, mango, citrus, grapefruit. Finish is sweet and dry-grapefruit bitter. Alcohol is well covered. Overall: very good.
3.8Really decent DIPA. Oft times, the local DIPA efforts lag behind the more well-known west coast big boys, but this stands up to the best.
4.4spruce, citrus, citrus, golden, hazy, frothy, white foam, very bitter, medium body, creamy, average carbonation, long finish,
