Penn Quarter Porter is our first in a line of draft-only limited-release beer, and it’s a robust porter! In the way that The Public is on the line between a pale ale and an IPA, this is on the line between a porter and a stout - with chocolate notes and a dry, roasted finish.

3.5 Puszka. Czarne o obfitej, beżowej pianie, która opada powoli. W zapachu i smaku słodka mleczna czekolada, palona kawa, karmel. Palonosc na średnim poziomie. Delikatne, kremowe o małym wysyceniu.

3.9 Dark brown body with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt and molasses. Taste is rich molasses, coffee, dark chocolate. Great profile. Texture is softer with a dry finish. Enjoyable.

3.4 33 cl bottle @ Viking Line. Rated on 03.05.2019. BBE 11.06.2019. Aroma is sweet with vanilla and coffee. Also licorice. Feels artifical. Flavour has metallic vibes, mocha, salty licorice and hints of ash. Decent, the metallic tones are not nice. I must say that I expected more.

3.8 Can First brewery from DC Quite smooth porter. Coffee on a nose, mocca on tongue. Yup. This is very easy one.

3.7 Burk 355 ml från Systembolaget. Svart med smutsvitt skum som sedan lägger sig på insidan av glaset. Doft av rostad malt, choklad, kaffe och lakrits. Smak av rostad malt, kaffe, torkad frukt, och nötter. Rejäl beska.

3.5 Burk från Systembolaget. Svart vätska med ett beige skum. Dofter av kaffe, karamell och trä. Smakinslag av kaffe, rostad malt, trä och karamell. Torr munkänsla. Rostad och bitter avslutning.

3.6 Can@Cafe Deluxe, Georgetown, D.C. black, unstable tan head. Nose roast malts, black chocolate. Medium body. Bitter taste following the nose plus some coffee.

3.7 Can at home. Pitch black coloured with a medium sized beige head. Roasted aroma of hay with notes of cocoa powder. Roasted flavour of chocolate and hay. Roasted finish.

4.5 Damn good porter. No nose but plenty of flavor. Not too sweet. Def drink again.

3.0 Can from Systembolaget Sweden. Short brown head. Small roasted malt aroma. Dry roasted malt taste with a firm body and a medium body and bitterness.

3.4 Burk från SB. En i stort sett svart öl med ett lättar mörkbeige skum. Doft och smak är främst rostad malt och kaffe. Men även inslag av choklad, torv och blött trä.

3.6 Can 355ml. Dark brown, milk chocolate coloured dense head, plenty of lacing. Sweet berries and chocolate in the aroma. Taste is dry and long-lasting. Initially chocolate sweet, but in the end there are some bitter and roasted notes. Excellent porter at this reasonable abv

3.3 Can from Systembolaget. Black with a large tan head. Aroma and taste of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and hints of oak. The finish was on the sweet side.

2.8 Burk från SB. Svart kulör med ljusbrun skumkrona. Doft av blöt kartong, syrligt kaffe, choklad och mörkrostad malt. Bitter, mörk och torr munkänsla. Ganska lätt kropp.

3.6 Black colour, creamy tan head. Aroma: roasted malt, some smoke, oak, cacao beans, chocolate. Taste: roasted malt, dark chocolate, cacao bitterness, some oak, some molasses, coffee. Dry finish.

3.7 Roasted, burnt aroma with hints of smokeyness. Starts of a little bit malty with the bitterness slowly creeping up in the finish.

3.3 Burk från SB. Närmast kolsvart med lågt mörkbeige skum. Rostade aromer med mörk malt, kaffe, choklad. Mörka kärva men också ganska söta smaker. En kombination som iofs är ganska balanserad men därmed inte harmonisk. Bäst är eftersamken med torv, tobak och trä. Ok+

3.3 Black color, small dark brown head. Aromas of cacao, roasted malt, biscuits, hops and chocolate. Taste of roasted malt, cacao, earth and hops.

3.8 @ Havregatan 20190216. Can (355 ml) from Systembolaget. Roasted malty with coffee and chocolate, medium body with an oily texture. The finish is roasted and bitter.

2.0 Pours black with a full, tan head. Aroma is light smoke and light roast. Taste is light roast and a hint of hoppy backbone. An unenjoyable porter.
