4.0Bottle while waiting for Blåbær. Hazy orange body with a small white head. Tart, berries, cherry notes.
3.7Bottle from a shop near Brussels a couple of years ago, bottle date 08/2013, 75 cl sample. Slight hazy orange with a reddish glow, short frothy head. Aroma is quite fruity of cherry, bit marzipan, some tartness and funk. Quite sour in taste, fruity, citric acid. Almost sharpish in the finish. Bit thin in body. Besides the minor flaws, lovely beer.
4.0Delikatnie octowa nuta w aromacie, bardzo dużo czerwonych, kwaśnych owoców. Żurawina, wiśnie. Wytrawne, kwaśne, serek (ale taki, jaki w lambikach szanuję - dojrzały cheddar) i Brettusie. Pyszka.
3.9Butelka podczas sharingu w Chmielarni na Marszałkowskiej. Aromat naprawdę fajny, czuć owoce i skórę.

4.2(750ml 2015 bottle from Systembolaget web order shared). Pours a clear, slightly reddish-tinged medium amber with just a few loose white bubbles and no head to speak of. Aroma is quite acidic, on the border between very tart and truly sour. Lactic and berry-derived acidity dominate that aspect, with light white wine vinegar as well. Fresh lemon zest, sour cherry flesh, gooseberry, crab apple, slight raspberry, berry seeds, wet oak, very restrained funk. The palate is very well balanced between acidity and a malt core that contributes sweet notes to motivate the fruit. Lemon juice and gooseberry lead, along with sour cherry juice and a surprisingly up front minerality. The middle fills in with more malt sweetness, tart cherry flesh, building raspberry presence and a hint of wine vinegar, but as quickly as it appears, the sweetness fades to a drying light bitterness. In the dry finish, woody cellar notes, a sightly musty funk, prominent raspberry seeds and raspberry flesh, with a seam of acidic gooseberry and lemon riding things out along the roof of the mouth. Aftertaste of sour cherry and raspberry, slight herbal quality, and a little old wood. Medium bodied and slick, with very light but prickly carbonation. I was a bit surprised by the lower funk profile and relatively sweet core, but it nicely offsets the acidity and prevents it being bracing like the De Cam Framboise. A great Valentine’s beer, I’m fortunate to have a lambic-loving partner!
4.2Bottle pours hazy pale red with a small pink head. Big fruit aroma, berries and cherries, funky and tart yeast. Very sour and fruity flavor, biting, funky. Prickly carbonation with medium body, great feel. Really awesome.
3.82015 750mL at Akkurat with Nelson, 11/28/16.
Bright red robe shows a good clarity and a multicolor-tinted (yellow, pink, etc...) white head with reasonable retention for the style.
The nose is bright and juicy, with both tart and somewhat sweet suggestions. Jammy blackberry and surprisingly no sulfur, given how sulfur-heavy the nectarine bottles are (though they are younger). Good lactic character, with no flaw or intense sourness.
In the mouth it’s sweeter than expected. Not artificial, of course, but the fruits are tangy and heavily jammy, having not had enough time to work in to the lambic character, which itself is heavily tart and shows a good mix of lactic and brett character. Rather big body for a lambic with strong carbonation.
3.8Bottle, 5.5%. Slightly hazy amber/orange with tiny head. Aroma is malt, tart, berries, cherries, cherry stone and lemon. Flavour is malt, tart, berries, cherries, sour, lemon, little barnyard, citric, wood, little acid, gooseberries, medium sweet and a little dry.
4.4Thanks to Huhzubendah for sharing the bottle! Poured into a taster showing well filtered ruby red with sparse white foam.
The nose shows acetic brett with fruit notes of cherry and blackberry with hints of plum.
The palate is medium bodied and highly carbonated. Moderately tarted with lightly intense mixed fruits of cherries, blackberries, and light plums. Acetic with light bretty funk.
4.0Drank on October 22nd, rated in wrong entry. B2. 2 ounces at tasting. Aroma: nice cherry, apples, funky cheese. App: cloudy peach, no head, no lacing. Taste and palate: light body, fruity, moderate acidity finish. Overall: good mouthfeel. Good acidity. Enjoyed it
3.6Style et résumé: Lambic avec plusieurs fruits.
Comment: Dégustation Manseau Automne 2016, Merci Tommy et les autres.
Portrait: Batch 2. Un liquide doré cuivré. Une bouche sur le bois, la bille, le vomi, les fruits et du lambic classique. Une bouche agréable pas trop acide avec du bois et des saveurs sauvages de levure spontanée. Peu de fruit, par contre.
Note: 7+/10
4.5Pours a hazy golden yellow from the bottle with fluffy white head that dissipates slowly to leave good lace. Aroma of funky barnyard brettanomyces and sweet stone fruit notes, hint of wood and acidity. Taste is an acidic bite up front, sweet stone fruit notes in the middle blended with wood, a funky ending that finishes dry and clean. Holy freaking wow, this is amazing.
3.8Sampled from a 750 mL bottle during Zwanze. Pours a hazy red color, with a small, tan head. The aroma is tart cherries and orange peels, caramel, butter toffee, and a touch of salt. Sweet and fruity up front, with a tart and lightly bitter finish. Medium body, sticky, acidic, and clingy. This is a nicely complex and fruity lambic. Surprisingly well balanced and finishes clean. Very nice!
4.2Bottle 750ml. corked.

4.1750ml bottle. Thank you, Karel!. Golden yellow colour. Modest white head which disappears quite quickly. Hints of apples, gooseberries, hints of other berries, vinegar, hints of white wine, hints of rowan berries, buckthorn, smooth liqeury notes and earthiness in the aroma. Rich! Gooseberries, applewine at first. Sourness and acidity in the middle. Hints of berries and wine in the end. Berries and sourness in the aftertaste. The palate is very rich and mouthfeel is also nice. Rather medium bodied, great fruit lambic.
3.3Bottle@home. Red hazy. Small head. Low carbonation. Intens corky. Mold aromas too. Very sour dry. Fruityness behind the dominant cork mold. Soso.
4.4De Cam Lambiek Special ’15 vintage
Pours a bright blood red color, with just an orange hint in it, together with a medium sized, fizzy head, which vanishes completely after a few moments.
Offers a young, yet profound funkiness, consisting of wet hay, blue cheese and glue, balanced by a citrus crispness. This foundation experiences a soft flower and grass aspect on top, leading to very unripe currants, raspberries and earthy cherries. Very complex with a character defining tartness, in which the fruits slowly find to their way.
Has a higher carbonation, complimenting to the beers refreshing appearance, with a soft finish, in which the fruits shine, being able to unfold their facetts, guided by the preveiling tartness.
Tastes of a surprisingly sweet initial fruitiness, reminding me of dried currants, wild berry jam and sugar coated cherries. This first impression lasts only for a split second though, since the beers omnipresent tartness evolves on the tongue rapidly, accompanied by a cheesy and leathery funkiness. It never looses its soft, aqueous, slightly mineralic mouthfeel, which makes this complex and easily enjoyable at the same time, and actually allows the fruits to contribute more than just their easily picked up tartness. More moldy, earth coated stone pit qualities cut through after the swallow, once the dust settles and all the carbonation has rushed through, building up a silk fruit richness. Its got a faint jam aspect, which could also be a hint of the ripeness of the fruits, with a prickly pulp tartness adding to the silkness.
Awesome Lambic, unfolding a rollercoaster of flavors on the tongue, due to its world class mouthfeel. Its carbonation level plays a huge role in the perception of the fruits in this, opening up the palate to more and more subtle nuances, the longer it is on the palate. Its finish is a real highlight as it opposes the contrary of everything experienced so far, its very calm and nuanced, almost still, while its previous effervescence is still on my mind.
4.3750ml bottle. Unclear sunset amber with a few wisps of white head that are soon gone. Aroma: shame I can read the fruit blend, but it’s obviously cherries and something else - I guess the blackberries fatten and add bracken, the goosegogs acidity and a mellow juiciness. But neither are obvious (not any any means a criticism). And after a while nor are the cherries. Spicy funk, almonds and a lovely tired woodiness. Slight feral green twiggy/ shoe polish note that is OK but suggests problems to come (wrongly, it turns out). A fair bit of body. Low carbonation. Lovely brooding autumnal flavours with damp hay, decaying wood, mellow berries; perked up by zingy gooseberry acidity, ripe cherries, spices. Finish is long and fades towards gentle fruit that you almost forget how punchily sour it starts. Very beautiful.
4.1Orangish color, quickly diminishing white head. Aroma has notes of vinegar, yeast and berries. Flavor is funky, very fruity, sourish with cherries and some wood. Strong sourness in the aftertaste with fruity mouthfeel.
4.2750 ml bottle at Gueuze tasting 2016, Ulfborg. Clear amber orange color with off white head. Yeasty and light malty aroma, funky, bretty, barnyard, berries, wood. Heavy sour acidic taste. Almost medium oily body with soft to average carbonation.
