3.7 750 ml bottle from Lambiczoon. Gift from Cate! It pours clear orange, no head at all. Aroma is citrus, tangerine, lemon, funky, farm, sugar. Taste is medium sour. Body is medium, carbonation is almost flat. Good!
4.4 750mL bottle. Nectarine aromas, lemon, funky. Hazy orange with a fairly lasting white head. Dry, tangy, sour, funky, fruity. Medium bodied.
3.7 Pours an almost clear dagk straw orange colour. Nose has mild fruit. Stewed stonefruits but gravide on the lambic with notes of sour lemon and a farmy quality. Very sour flavour, again with the fruit in the background but mouthpuckeringly sour still. Tart apple and lemon with some hayish qualities as well. Some metallic yeasty notes in the aftertaste. This was pretty good.
3.8 Bottle. Aroma is lemons, unripe apples, lots of funk, peach/nectarine notes. Very sour, lots of fruit skins, distinct nectarine character.
4.0 Tasting thanks to Matt. Just a great beer. I enjoyed the fruity flavoring that blended very well with the funk/skunk of the lambic. Very drinkable.
3.6 75cl Bottle @ Be Hoppy, Madrid, Spain. Hazy golden colour with no head. Aroma is yeast, citrus, tart, fruits. Taste follows the aroma. Medium body, soft carbonation.
4.2 From 750 ml bottle shared with friends. Light hazy golden orange color with small off white head. Yeasty aroma, citrusy, tart lemon, nectarine, stone fruits, funk, barnyard, wood. Acidic fruity sour taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.
3.5 750ml bottle. Pours out a clear golden shade. No head. Wild aroma. Taste is dry, cheese rind, wooden barrel. Good stuff.
4.2 duft funk citrus appelsin skal parfymeret smag krydret appelsin kant frugtig tør appelsin frugtig sur og tør
4.2 750mL bottle, courtesy of rouhlas (thanks Nikos!), pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Nose is intensely complex, with shitloads of sweet nectarines, followed by barnyard funk and some leather. Flavour is tart upfront, with intense tart and semi-sweet nectarines, followed by barnyard funk, light leather and an intense tangy finish. Wonderful nectarine character, with extreme but fitting sourness. Wonderful.
Stor syrlighet, fin balans, bra beska. Mycket gott!
3.7 75cl bottle. BBD July 2036 Golden color, no head. Aroma with fruity notes, tartaric notes, barnyard. Flavor with a light sourness, moderate fruitness, acidic. Fruity final with notes, slightly citric hints, yeasty.
2.8 Fra fat på Muted Horn Berlin 11 Jan 18. Påspandert. Gylden. Filmskum. Aroma av syrlig frukt. Smaken syrlige plommer. Lett tørr ettersmak.
3.0 750ml cork bottle, 6. 5 % abv, kindly shared by Arne and GrOve at Muted Horn. Filmy layer, misty golden body, clingy lacing. Aroma of dust, wood and distant nectarine. Taste of cheese and subdued nectarine tartness. Lingering, dry ending with fruit. Well bodied. Satisfying without greater excitements (Berlin 11.01.2018).
Riktigt gott.
4.0 Bottle shared at Clink; hazy golden yellow pour with zero head, aroma has nectarines and hints of peach, taste has sour stoned fruits, quite fresh nectarine, nice.
4.1 Bottle shardd by skortila. Hazy golden color, medium frothy head. Aroma is funky and fruity, like a good regular geuze. Didnt catch a lot of nectarine though. Funky and quite sour in taste, fruity zure matjes. Wonderful as always by de Cam.
3.9 It smells like a home made wine with fermented nectarines. It is super sour but pleasant. Carbonation is on spot. Fruitiness is more present in the aroma then in mouth.
3.9 Ładny owocowy zapach nektarynki, świeży, przyjemny. W smaku bardzo kwaśne, ale w stronę owoców, a nie octu. Mocne wrażenia smakowe.
2.8 27/VIII/17 - 75cl bottle @ BXL Beer Fest - BB: n/a (2017-1410) Thanks to the (Belgian) RB crew for sharing today's beers! Clear pale yellow beer, creamy irregular off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: pretty dirty, funky, spicy, dusty, wood notes, pediococcus? Just pretty weird, overall. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very acidic start, lemon juice, bit funky. Aftertaste: very sour, vinegar notes, not picking up much nectarines here. Aggressive brett ate all.
4.0 Pours cloudy golden with low white head. Aroma of grass, stone fruit, grapes, citrus. Taste is medium tart with a mellow fruit sweet finish. Light and crisp body with average carbonation.
3.5 Sampled from bottle at Foeder's bottleshare 28 September 2017. Pale golden color, mostly clear. No head. Aroma's: sour, light funky, light sulphuric. Retronasal it's sourish, soft (tropical) fruit, almost a bit sweet. Flavor is rather sour with some soft fruit. Light bodied. Long dry tart finish.
3.7 (750ml bottle bb 6-2037) clear gold, fine white bubbles. Nose of juicy nectarine, stone fruit, caramel, brett, cobweb, wet wood, complex. Taste of stone fruit, brett, cobweb, wet cellar floor, touch lactic. Medium body, medium high carb.
3.4 Bottle shared @Luppolo Station (Rome). Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Non molto rifinita, ma accettabile.
4.2 @ BXL Beerfest Aroma is funky, sour and some yeast, citrus. Taste is Lambiek and orange (nectarine) zest. Mingles really well. Nice balance there. The lambiek is really there. Very nice palate.
3.4 Bottle at Luppolo Station (Rome). Golden hazy bright pour, just a lacing as a foam. Nose: hints of mint, wine, vinous, vinegar. Mouth: watery, vinegar, apple vinegar. Not terrific.
3.8 Sampled at BXL Beerfest Brussel. Pours a clear golden with a small white head. Nectarine, cherries, light funk, hay, oak.
3.5 Pours a golden body with a medium head. Funky aroma. Nice fruity taste with a well balanced sourness.
3.5 Bottle. Pours hazy yellow. Nose is sour orange, nectarines, grapefruit. Palate is orange, mandarin, grapefruit, pineapple. Finish is sour. Interesting. Reminds me of the spontanorange
