4.0 330 ml bottle. Pours cloudy dark orange almost amber with a big foamy head. Floral grassy hops, pine, tangerine, orange zest, papaya, lemon grass, some honey, some vanilla and other spices. Hoppy bitterness, some fruity sweetness. Full bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry hoppy bitter finish. Lovely.
3.7 Aroma luppolato, tanta schiuma grana medio fine persistente, gusto luppolato dolce, media carbonazione, retrogusto amaro secco.
4.0 Bottle of 33cl, in a Tulip glass; from the fridge. Good IPA, refreshing, hevay on the hop side :D
4.2 This is a IPA not a saison. Impressive beer too. Fruity, bitter, sweet full of flavour, great mouthfeel. Well crafted.
4.0 From Gabriele
3.2 Bottle looks simple but good. Gusher! What was left for that glass is light golden, huge head. Intense hoppy aroma. Starts hoppy-flowery, some sourish notes, woody hints. Could be more balanced. Hints of lemon, some grapefruit. Not too drinkable. Okay.
4.0 Fles 33cl thuis. Zacht, fruitig, bittertonen, Belgisch gist, licht kruidig, droog, citrus, oranje fruittonen, wat bloemig, licht koolzuur. Goede balans. (5-6-2020).
3.6 Appearance: Light orange golden, clear. Some fizzy, off-white head. More head later. Aroma: Lots of light fruits, spices, Belgian yeast. Taste: Light hops, lots of fruits, Belgian yeast. Spices. Lightly bitter aftertaste. Smooth. Bought: Wittich, 330 ml, CHF 3.90 Info: 15/5-2020, BB: 31/5-2021
3.7 Dark orange with a sticky, foamy white head. Papaya and orange juice aroma. As it mellows, it trends more and more floral with obvious caramel undertones. Taste is bittersweet, with the dominant citric bitterness melding nicely with the sweeter, malty base. Medium bodied, balanced carbonation. Pleasant.
2.9 Classic, malty, bitter. Clean but not really aromatic. The Belgium style present, at least, to bring some character.
3.0 IPA plus houblonnée que la moyenne
3.5 Bottle from Belgiuminabox. Slight gusher. Pours a hazy deep golden/amber colour with a medium to large creamy off-white head. Nice lacing. Aromas of citrus and tropical fruits, zest, pine, spice and faint floral notes. Taste has the same notes again with a very subtle citrus bitterness. Medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel and a citrus fruity hop and grassy finish. Pretty good.
1.5 Starkes IPA ohne Fruchtnote
3.9 Clear amber body with a big foamy and persistent ivory head. Aroma is fruity hops. Notes of orange marmelade, some peach. Mild floreal notes. Taste is fruity hops, citrusy notes. Nice hoppy finish. Medium body average carbonation oily texture.
3.3 Fruit herbal hop malt candy caramel aroma. Murky light brown colour great head and lacing. Malt caramel biscuit chocolate fruit flavour. Smooth lingering palate.
3.0 Heel aardige belgische ipa. Bitter met tonen van citrus. Behoorlijk droog mondgevoel.
3.5 Pours golden yellow with a medium white head. Aromas of citrus fruit, malt, alcohol and taste is same as aroma with a pronounced sweetness not typical for IPAs but this is Belgium after all... Unexpected but nice!
3.4 (Rate 20/09/19: 6-4-7-4-14 = 3.5) Bottle pours a near-clear, deep golden to amber pour, with generous off-white head; very good lacing & retention. Aroma is mild, but hoppy, tropical fruit. Taste is mild sweet and mild bitter, tangerine. Good carbonation. This is not a heavy or explicite IPA, but quite full of nuance, which also makes it nice. (Re-rate 28/05/22: 6-4-7-13 = 3.4) Shared glass at Lagerhuys in Amsterdam. Nice clear deep golden pour with white head, retaining very well still. But aroma now different: hoppy yes, but not at all tropical, more grassy and bit floral. Taste is mild bitter with a late bitter aftertaste; a slight watery sense also. Fine carbo. Not the most explicite IPA indeed.
3.7 Hazy golden orange color with thick off-white head. Aroma has yeast, pine, citrus and needles. Taste is malty sweet with long bitter aftertaste. Flavors of citrus, pine, needles, tropical fruits and yeast.
4.6 Con un toque a caramelo. Muy buena
3.5 Flaske. Ok
3.8 On tap, Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Bright deep amber colour with a thick white foam. Soft palate. Sweetish malts behind a spicy, woody, fruity rich oily hop note and a satisfying bitter finish. Maybe a tad boozy? But nice.
