3.7Bottle from Belgiuminabox.
Pours a slightly hazy deep golden/amber colour with a thin to medium sized soapy off-white head. Nice lacing. Aromas of stoney fruits, peaches, apricots, pears, apples and hints of spice. Taste has similar notes to the aroma with added citrus peel zest to the finish. Medium bodied, average carbonation and a very slightly oily mouthfeel. it’s a nice beer
3.5Amber color with off-white head. Aroma has caramel, yeast, sweet fruity notes. Taste is malty sweet with long quite sweet and a somewhat bitter aftertaste. Flavors of caramel, malt, toffee, fruity notes and some hay.
3.033cl bottle at home (9 IV 2020), as De Dochter van de Korenaar Finesse. A tripel with three different grains: wheat, rye and gerst. The looks are fine: quite a hazy brew of beige or even light brown tanned color with thick yeast flocks on the bottom and a yellow gloom. The foam is dirty white with appealing texture. The nose is atmost beary, with malts, worts, yeast and bread notes. These towering flavours are accompanied with slight fruity and herby hints. The mouthfeel has a thick butter, soapy and sparkling character, which is actually not that unappealing. There is a great bread-grains-yeast sensation, culminating in a wheat powerhouse. One can find some honey in here as well. The ending has dry herby hops and some black pepper or even ginger in it. I love this tripel interpretation - almost making this a back to the roots classic, maybe? - but the bread and bread grains are overwhelming. Together with the dust and dirty straw and hay features, the brew's palate range is a that too big.
3.9backlog fro 2019
Hazy amber with creamy sticky head.
Aroma: homemady apricote brandy, dry Jerez, pepper.
Dry and boozy with low tartness.
Perfect.
3.633cl bottle from Geers. Pours murky orange / ogre / copper. Yeast sediment doesn't stick at all so pour carefully if you want a clear sample. Low head retention. Nose of soap, zesty esters. Marmelade, honey, peach. Taste is well balanced, bitterness arrives cleanly. MF quite slick, low carbonation, well oiled without diacetyl aroma. Very drinkable due to its palatability.
3.4Bottle, bit past BB. Hazy orange-amber body, fleeting white head. Interesting aroma, peach, coconut, oxidation. Bit gone. Smooth, silky taste, apricot esters, peppery bitterness, some oxidation. Drinkable, good even, just not terribly tripelish after some age. Ah well, to be rerated likely.
3.6Lekkere tripel 3 granen
3.8330ml bottle from belgiuminabox.com. Pours very hazy yellow/orange (it has lots of yeast sediment) with a medium/small white head. Very nice aromas of caramel, fruit (apricot?), yeast, some vanilla and alcohol. Taste is very nice also, malty and fruity (not citrus-y), caramel and yeast. Not a typical tripel by any stretch of the imagination but really interesting.
3.712 ounce bottle from Brussels. A nice orange pour with a lot of fruit in nose and taste. Decent.
3.4Donkerblonde Tripel met witte schuimkraag. Redelijk vlak van smaak. Zeer lichte bittere nasmaak

5.0Magnifique. Une évasion, un voyage gustatif vers Les champs de blé. Восхитительно. Вкусовое путешествие на пшеничные поля.
3.4Bottle. aged a couple of years. Big fruity nose, way overripe, with wine-like elements. Hazy medium brown color. Thick dark fruit flavor, light prune, mild and tangy in mid palate, some caramel, and Belgian yeast. Medium body. Seems a bit tired and dusty. Perhaps past its prime?
3.5Light beige creamy head. Cloudy honey amber colour. Aroma is moderately malty with fruity ( apricot and peach) and light peaty notes. Flavor is malty too with fruity ( apricot , peach and baked apple) and cloves notes, ending in a gently hoppy and spicy finish. Medium to full bodied.
3.5Bottled, 330ml from Favourite Beers, Cheltenham, Gloucs. Hazy orange amber with off white head. This appears to be a mix of a Tripel and IPA, there is a yeasty, Belgian style flowery, perfumed character then citrusy, resinous hopped notes. Interesting stuff and pretty decent.
3.9The beer has got a hazy amber orange colour with a steady head and smooth body. Aroma of Belgian yeast and hops. Taste of Belgian yeast, hops, oranges, fruits and bread. Smooth finish.
