3.2Tasting pour at Leuven Innovation Beerfestival. Thanks for sharing! Tanines, wine-like, light sour, ok but not really exceptional.
3.566 cl bottle.
Pours clear golden color with a large head. Quite sour aroma, spicy and a bit yeasty, hints of honey, slightly earthy and herbal. Flavor is sour apricot and orange, spicy malt notes, yeast and some funky tones. Quite Sour Red/Brown feel to this. Nice.

3.5Draft @ Oproer. Funky dry sour aroma of Apple?s, and berries and cedarwood. Little cloudy gold colour with a good white head. Subtile flavours in the beginning including wood, siltyness, yeast and malts. A little watery, but the dryness and wooden, earthy aspects take over. It is not as sour as expected, it more champagnelike dryness and the funky yeast. I wished i had some good French stinky cheese to complement the funky beer. It has a scrumpy ciderlike aftertaste. Interesting!
3.675cl bottle at home. Cloudy murky golden colour, creamy beige head. Highly funky, lightly tard, malty sweet, some vanilla/white grape cask tones. Low carbonation, medium body.
3.6Bottle shared at the return of Old Spice tasting. Pours cloudy orange with a small off white head. Aroma is a little funky with tart fruits, light minty notes, caramel, vinegar and sweet malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and sour. Medium bodied with light carbonation.
3.7Bottle at THT. Murky golden with white head. Lactic notes, massive herbs and spices, mint, lemon, hay, light funk. Medium sour with light herbal bitterness. Medium bodied with sparkly carbonation.
3.7Bottle at the Return of Old Spice tasting, Dec 2015, Den Haag. Poured a hazy light amber with a round bubbly white head. The aroma is acid, light vinegar. The flavour is moderate sour with a smooth light acid citrus, biscuit, dough yeast palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
3.2Bottle shared at December THT.
Thin white head. Cloudy blond pour. Very sour.
3.3750 ml bottle purchased in Amsterdam in 2012? Best by Dec 2016 stamp. May have corked as some leakage noticed recently in the wine rack. Still plenty of carbonation. Decent head. Amber. Sour lambic aroma. Oak. Dry. Hints of cherry. Grass. Red wine vinegar. Decent lambic. Would like to try again without any risk of corkage.
3.4750ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity, spicy, sourish aroma, hints of vinegar, a woody touch of oak, some green apple. Taste is moderately sour, tangy, citrusy tartness, citric acid, fruity notes of green apple, vinegar spiciness.
2.975cl, hughe gusher. No BB.
3.7Bottle a golden yellow colored beer with a white head aroma malts fruits apple lemon fruits and sourness flavor fruits apple lemon lime fruits some spicy and a fresh sourness aftertaste
1.8Bottle thanks to Shtu. Major gusher. Golden with white head. Aroma of smoke, vinegar and funk. Taste of smoke and vinegar. Brutally acidic. It’s fucht. Undrinkable
2.9Bottle at dina’s, massive gusher. Pours hazy orange, nose is toffee, acidic, fruity, taste is all vinegar, funky.
3.3Extreme sour beer with hazy amber color. Almost no head. As I said, very sour one, some apples, brett with dry finish.
Complexa, aromática, intensa... fresca, frutada.. show
3.80,75 fles gedeeld met lachneger en lemmer. Mat amber met lichte minimale kraag. Voorzichtig uitgeschonken, licht troebel.
4.0750 ml bottle, there isn’t any date information on the bottle but I know I’ve had the bottle for at least a year, probably closer to 2. Served in a Prairie Teku glass, the beer pours a hazy amber/copper color with about an inch off-white head that stuck around a while. There’s also a lot of lacing. Aroma is musty and tart, the brew smells like hay, wood, apples, vinegar and earthy mustiness. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there’s also the addition of some bready malt, stone fruit, and pears. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s a bit slick with high but soft carbonation. It’s easy enough to drink. I liked this gueuze, and I’d certainly like to try this again in the future!
4.1Bottle, BB Dec 2016 (about 2 or 3 years old now I think), large sample, served in a tulip glass. Cloudy orange to beige color, huge frothy head. Aroma is quite fruity, funk, horseblanket and barnyard, slight hint of strawberry, oak wood, cellar. Smells pretty good and complex for a geuze / sour. Taste is quite sour, slight bitterness as well, bit dry. Slight sparkling on the tongue, leaving some spicy bitterness together with some funk. I like the combination of sour and funk and fruitiness. Wonderful stuff.
3.8Taste this beer more times. First @ summer 2011.
Hazy golden to amber color, with a white head.
Aroma: fruits, sour apples and oranges, some tart, some grains.
Medium body.
Taste: grains, sour apples and oranges, sourness.
Very drinkable.
3.7Aroma of.vinegar, sour apples, barnyard, some brett, some wood, some citrus. Flavour is vinegar sour, fruity, very tart. Elegant and nicely balanced.
2.6Drunk from 75cl bottle bought at malting pot, Brussels. A huge fan of traditional gueuze, this very tart sour beer nevertheless didn't do anything for me.
3.5Bottled. Pours hazy golden with a small, off-white head. Aroma of sour citrus fruits, barnyard, brett notes, wood and caramel. Slightly weet flavor that ends up quite dry and tart. Medium, bodied, watery texture and flat to soft carb. A very nice Sour
4.3Bouteille. Moustache Blanche. Robe orange claire, petite mousse blanche.
