4.0 Bottle from Belgiuminabox. Pours a hazy golden/amber colour with a huge white throthy head. Aromas of stoney fruits, apricots, peaches, tangerine, tropical fruits, apple pie, bread, jam, a little honey and sugar. Taste has the same but slightly milder notes than the aroma with added grass, spice, orange and lemon zest with a hoppy bitterness on the finish. Fair carbonation on the palate with a medium bodied mouthfeel and a fairly long zesty, hoppy and fruity aftertaste. Really nice

3.6 Clear golden color with lacing off-white head. Aroma has citrus, hay, fruits and yeast. Taste is fruity with long bitter and quite dry aftertaste. Flavors of citrus, grass, fruits, yeast and spices.

3.6 Bottle from BIAB. It pours lightly hazy blonde with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is rich bready character, soft, sweet, spicy, cereal, sponge cake and rich tea biscuit. The taste is is firmly dry, decent amount of bitterness, bready maltage, toasty grains, cereal, hay, biscuit, grassy, twist of sharp citrus, slightly soapy, earthy, undertones of green banana, melon, pear and spice with a drying linger. Medium body and moderate to high foamy carbonation. Decent stuff.

4.6 Voilà la bière belge comme je l’aime ! Distinguée, racée, à la fois tempétueuse tout en restant sur la réserve, chaleureuse sans en faire de trop. On retrouve très clairement la patte De Dolle dans cette Lichtervelds Blond. Nous sommes également à la fois dans l'esprit et dans la réalisation proche d'une moinette blonde. Beau visuel en verre, avec un blond doré quasi limpide, de très nombreuses et fines bulles ainsi qu'une mousse blanche crémeuse abondante (3 cm). Très joli nez sur les fruits jaunes, les céréales, la levure, la coriandre et un alcool donnant un bon pep's. Superbe attaque parfaitement équilibrée, avec un alcool soutenant bien les aromes, sans dénoter toutefois, ni être agressif, et avec une pointe d'acidité citronnée conférant un peu de fraîcheur. On y retrouve le cocktail découvert au nez. C'est à la fois ample et pêchu. La deuxième bouche est plus intense avec un alcool qui y est un peu plus chaleureux tout en restant bien intégré. Deux légers petits bémols lui font perdre le coup de cœur. Un petit poivre légèrement trop présent allié à une petite aigreur en arrière-bouche. Joli final, long, stable et ne perdant pas en arômes. Bonne corpulence également (sans être incroyable). Très belle symphonie.

4.2 Bottle. Golden/orange color, with a huge white dense head. Aroma is yeast, hoppy and candi sugar. Very roasted/toasted initial taste. Taste is immediately bitter, then candi sugar but not sweet at all some fruity notes. Well-bodied, incredibly balanced, alcohol very well hidden. Again a great beer from De Dolle.

3.6 Bottle picked up in Mechelen, Belgium last month. A hazy golden coloured pour with a healthy fluffy white head on top. Yeasty, spice, apricot aroma. Tastes quite Belgian, yeasty, spice, fruity, apricot, slight sweetness. Good one from De Dolle.

4.0 Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a tulip glass. Hazy medium golden, huge frothy white head, good retention, heavy lacing; aroma pale mal, apricot, tangerine, Belgian yeast, honey; fresh taste, medium sweet and bitter, malty, fruity, spicy, yeasty; dry sweetbitter aftertaste, alcohol and earthy notes; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; alcohol well-hidden, very good blond, complex and elegant.

3.8 Bottle from Dranken Geers. Golden hazy beer with a big fluffy white head. Nose is apricot fruit, floral, French bread, biscuit malt, Taste is yeasty, fruity, dry, golden toasted grains, apricot, citrusy, little bit of grapefruit peel, floral, brioche.

3.6 Vintage....strong honey notes, deep golden, medium body, carbonation is soft, taste again honey with more fruity notes....not bad.

3.6 Bottle at Luppolo Statuon in Rome. Pale golden hazy pour with a white foam. Nose is parfum, apple, esters. Mouth is a bit confusing, esters, spicy, frizzy. Good without a real lead.

4.1 330ml bottle from Dranken Geers, Gent. Pours misty gold, large white head. Sweet blond yeast on the nose. Taste presents an enthusiastic carbonation, good sugary Belgian blonde character, light spice, citric fruits.. very well rounded with a dry bitter finish. Another great De Dolle.

3.4 33cl bottle Hazy golden color, creamy white head with good retention. Aroma has notes of Belgian yeast, light sweet notes and some maripan hints. Flavor is slightly sweet at the beginning, notes of marzipan, bread, yeast, some bitteress in the aftertaste with a high alcoholic presence.

3.1 Gekocht op zondag 5-2-2017 in de Struise Beershop aan de Burg in Brugge tijdens het 10é Bruggse Bierfestival. En thuis geproefd op 16-09-2017. Lichtervelds blond is een goud-blond en wazig biertje dat bij het uitschenken veel wit schuim geeft met een rotsachtige struktuur, het blijft sterk aan het glas kleven. Het schuim blijft zeer stabiel, na een tijdje blijft er nog een rotsachtig laagje over van ongeveer 5 mm. Veel CO2 pareling van grootte belletjes. Het aroma van Lichtervelds blond is zoet, met honing en mout, wat hop-bitterig en fruitig met citrus, perzik en mandarijn. De smaak is hop-bitterig met wat zoete mout, fruitig met ananas en citrus, wat biscuit-mout en een hint van cognac. In de mond geeft Lichtervelds blond een medium body, hij is wat bitterdroog en heeft maar een dunne textuur, wel zeer prikkelend wat soms het proefproces wat overheersd, toch een harmonieus biertje. De nasmaak vloeit niet uit, is hop-bitterig en licht droog, ook de biscuit-mout en de cognac zijn hier nog aanwezig. Lichtervelds blond is drooggehopt wat je doorheen het hele proces kan merken, geen uitschieter maar toch ook niet slecht, het hoge alcoholvolume wordt wel enigzins wat gecamoufleerd.

4.2 Bottle. Tons of big foamy head, very very hazy gold. Similar aroma to a couple of other De Dolle beers (the yeast), spices, slight sourness, corn flakes, apple pie. Big crisp sugary malty beer with loads of CO2. Fine layer of bitterness, less floral hoppiness than medicinal bitterness. Massive beer. Sticky mouthfeel, medium herbal notes and light sourness. The sweet aroma is more syruppy in the end. Really huge strong blonde. Sticky, sweet, really appetizing aroma, but the taste is a bit more on the herbal side than I prefer. These guys can do no wrong.

3.6 0.33 l bottle from ’belgiuminabox.com’, bb date not readable. Foaming as hell, about 10% beer in the glass, so no surprise here. Hazy, amber with a massive, fluffy, almost stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, moderately yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity aroma of hay, peach, some clove and hints of gooseberry. Sweetish, malty, moderately fruity and slightly yeasty-spicy taste of peach, honey, clove, gooseberry and some hay, followed by a short, moderately bitter, minimally sourish, slightly yeasty and a bit peppery-spicy finish. Medium body, moderately effervescent mouthfeel (?), average carbonation. Tasty indeed, some hints of that typical, sourish De Dolle yeast are detectable which makes it stand out in that style already. Would be nice if they could fix the foaming issue.

3.5 Rami Rami is drinking a Lichtervelds Blond by Brouwerij De Dolle Brouwers at Powiśle 2016. Taki fajny, przyprawowy, triplowaty blondzik, z typowym dedolleowskim bukietem, tylko mniej intenstywny. Stille nacht light. Bdb.

3.4 Piana bardzo obfita, średnio oczkowa, trwała. Barwa słomkowa, mętna - wygląda jak porządny pszeniczniak. W nikłym aromacie głównie nuty zbożowe, miodowe, troszkę brzoskwiń i siana w tle. Nie zachwyca... Smak półsłodki, podobnie jak w zapachu jakieś biszkopty czy ogólnie białe pieczywo, siano, jasne winogrona, miód lipowy. Goryczka średnia do niskiej, pikantna. Wysycenie średnie, dość wodniste, lekko rozgrzewające i szorstkie w odbiorze. Ani to piwo codzienne (w końcu 9% alko), ani piwo deserowe. Zapach mizerny, smak niby całkiem przyjemny, ogólnie jednak wypada najsłabiej z degustowanej oferty De Dolle...

4.0 Color pesca, velata dai lieviti, schiuma bianca copiosa e di ottima persistenza. Aroma di pera, mela, chiodi di garofano, floreale, miele ed etilico. In bocca si parte sempre con mela e pera, chiodi di garofano, intermezzo mieloso ed etilico che si protrae sul finale che risulta, oltre che etilico, floreale ed erbaceo con una punta di crosta di pane. Retrolfatto dove ritroviamo pera e chiodi di garofano. Corpo pieno, ben carbonata, ottima tripel.

4.7 From Zombier. In Teku glass. Playing Magic 2015. Lots of foam. All I expect in the style very well executed, with the ABV well hidden. Dry, with apple/pear notes and some grass. Very drinkable and moreish. Invites to long sips.

3.7 Pours a dark golden color with medium with huge white head. Aroma has lots of greean apple, pear, yeast and candy sugar. Taste follows the aroma, apple, pear, yeast, bread, candy, spices (pepper foreward) and little sorness. Alcohol is present but well integrated.

3.5 Thanks Kevin for the bottle! Bottle poured into a tulip showing golden orange with sediments and an ever present thin layer of white foam. The nose shows sweet bready malts with light Belgian yeast notes. The palate is light bodied and well carbonated. Flavors of moderately sweet Belgian yeast with a moderately alcoholic spiciness.

3.8 Bottle @ De Dolle Brouwers, Esen - BE. Color: clear hazy golden blond beer with medium carbonation and medium white foam. Smell: nice sweet malt notes balanced with dry grassy bitterness hops. Good balance. Grassy and toffee notes. Taste: medium body with caramel malt and toffee notes. Dry attenuation good dry bitterness. Aftertaste: dry bitterness, and small caramel finish. Very nice beer. Small alcohol finish.
