3.7Appearance is like a typical blonde: nearly clear golden, consistent head. Aroma is sweet and a bit shrimpy. Taste is big on ginger with some spice on the finish.
2.9Cloudy opaque orange with a negligibly sized white head. Malt forward aroma with notes of bubblegum, banana, yeast and caramel. Heavy and smooth bodied. Banana, caramel and yeast dominate with flavours such as vanilla and orange present as well. Too sweet for my liking.
3.4bottle @ Party Source / Bellevue KY --- dated: 03/2014 -Hazy light golden amber color, off-white head cover, bands of lace. Aroma of malt and ginger. Taste is caramel malt and ginger that turn to strong carbonation on the swallow, moving from there to mild bittering in the finish. Better than other ginger beers I’ve tried. Easy to drink.
3.8Many thanks for this beer to JefVerstraete. Piwo jak u Belga spora biala i puszysta piana. lekka metnosc i drobinki jakby imbiru. Zapach swiezo tartego imbiru. W smaku imbir, korzen pietruszki, pasternak. Ogolnie wazywne posmaki. Ogolnie OK
3.08/8/2009 4:08:16 AM Bottle at De Spuyt. Golden yellow body with big white head. Ginger nose and taste are hard to miss and unusual (one of 3 on RateBeer) but really not my thing. Bitter finish. Warming due to high ABV.
3.5Bottle from dranken Verheyen in Poppel. The beer is yellow to golden colored and pours a stable and large white head, with livingly CO2.
The aroma is clearly ginger and spices (coriander) and some fruity notes in the background and a hint of yeast.
The taste is fruity with a nice sweetness from ginger and spiciness of coriander, well balanced. Also after a while some hints of citrus and a light honey taste.
The finish is light bitter, a bit dry and spicy.
3.42015/09/16 - Pours a hazy, orange-honey colour with a foamy, off white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is ginger, herbal notes, coriander, mild lemon citrus, honey and yeast. Taste is ginger, herbs, yeast, honey, light caramel and mild citrus. Slightly medicinal. Mouthfeel is medium with sharp carbonation and a long, drying, bittersweet finish. I actually enjoyed this more than I thought I would. A little on the herbal side, but still pretty enjoyable.
3.4Golden, bit orange, with medium creamy off-white head. Sweet ginger aroma. Mild sweetsour fruity (ginfer, coriander?) taste follwed by medium strong biterness. Bitterness lasts in the aftertaste.
Alcool correct, bien adapté, soutient clairement l’ensemble.
Smaak is zoet, licht bitter. Prettig mondgevoel. Lekker.
2.733cl bottle at home. Somewhat hazy golden with a full white soapy head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Quite sweet with herbal bitterness. Ginger, flowers, herbs, caramel, malts and yeast. Too herbal for me.

3.4At gollem
Pours unclear , darker blonde . Good white head .
Smell is gember , bitter .
Taste is gember ( balanced but intense ) , bit bitter , turns sweet . Good mouthfeel and carbo . Touch of cinnamon . Ok
2.4Bottle from Dranken Geers in Belgium. Spicy smell with mostly ginger. Taste of ginger, spices and a metallic finish. The metall is really putting me off.
3.4Original spiced ale with off-white head and cloudy peach blonde robe. Pleasant ginger and gingerbread aroma, hints of caramel, orange and cinnamon, taste a sweetish spiciness much like gingerbread, very aromatic, even a bit sharp at times, citrus, finishing herbally hoppy. Either you like ginger or you don’t, but if you do, there is no denying this is a very enjoyable and creative ale.
2.6Bottle at home.
APPEARANCE: clear blond beer, small stable white head.
NOSE: gingerbread.
TASTE: name of the beer didn’t lie. Noting else here though.
3.4Bona cervesa, bastant equilibrada i gustosa.
Buena cerveza, bastante equilibrada y sabrosa.
3.5Stubby bottle, 330 ml. Poured into a tulip glass, ABV 8%
Golden orange colour on a hazy body, small white head, quite thick, with very good retention, leaving light lacing on the glass.
Aroma mainly of ginger, some malts behind, citrusy notes too but those are a "by-product" of the ginger.
Taste of yeast, light fruity, citrus, ginger, light spicy, sugar. A bit sweet.
Medium thin body, good carbonation.
Overall quite good, pleasantly drinkable.
3.6Bottle. Gold with a white head. Aroma of ginger - some mellow, a bit of young spicy bite - honeyed hay, light dough, oranges. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Alcohol is completely hidden. Ginger takes a back seat for a while, then comes back at the finish - until then it’s a rather pleasant, somewhat doughy, fruity blond. The ginger pervades but never overpowers - it’s really nicely done.
3.5Golden copper colour, medium white foamy head, citrus gentle ginger sweet honey malty sour smell, medium bitter spicy medium to high bitter, ginger sweet citrus like a bit creamy
3.633cl bottle @home. Pours clear golden with a white head. Subtle fruity aroma. Taste only a tiny hint of ginger. Actually pretty nice.
3.1Bottle 330ml @ home
Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast, dried fruits and ginger. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
3.3Clear blond body. White, creamy head. Hoppy aroma with subtle gember touch. Well balanced flavour.
3.8Aroma of pickled ginger with peppery yeast. Ginger is definitely the first thing noticeable and then lemon/lime and strong spices such as cardamom & coriander. Nice dryness & bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite pleasantly surprised by this one.
3.733 cl, flaske, 8,0 %, købt i Belgisk Bryg i Emdrup, 23. oktober 2013.
Overraskende god!
3.9I usually don’t like ginger, but it worked very well in this one. I think the bitter dryness of the beer helped.
3.9Bottle: Served in a Graal Chalice:
Medium to smaller vast and slowly changing white head on top of a hazy yellow colored beer.
Aromas of (yes) ginger, malts, hops, soap, flowers, herbs, flowers, light floral.
Flavours are well mixed and balanced within a thicker creamy mix of ginger, malts, bitters, herbs, light yeast, cream, cabbage, light hops, yeast, honey, bitters.
Aftertaste is a mix of bitters, herbs, floral, malts, ginger and cabbage.
Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, well balanced medium body and a thick creamy oily texture.
The ginger is well balanced within this beer and the beer itself is wonderfull. Serious a 3.9, it’s really good!
3.2Amber/yellow pour with an off-white head. Aromas of yeast, and spices (coriander, ginger, and some citrus peel). The ginger character on this was a lot less pronounced than I was expecting. The flavor is a bit bland really. Overall, this was an alright brew, I wouldn’t order it again though...just too underwhelming.
