4.2 Frisse Tripple!
3.8 Hazy yellow color. Modest smell, subtile fruityness. Good firm, bitter and slightly fruity taste. Nice tripel.
3.8 03-03-2020; bottle; at home (bought at an unknown location). Bottle from 2015. The looks of the beer are fine. It looks like a typical Tripel beer. Golden yellow color, that is just a tone darker than most ones. The beer is crustal clear. On top of the beer there is a nice layer of soft white foam. Foam retention is good. A nice thick layer stays on the beer for some time. Some nice Belgian lacing is left on the glass. Doesn't look bad. The aroma of the beer is nice. It is typical. The malt aromas are bread and a bit biscuity, with some nice grainy base notes. Not very special in this department. The hops are nice and herbal, with a nice spicy touch. The yeast is nice and has that typical Belgian yeast aroma: some banana and some spicy notes. All this makes it a very typical yet nice Belgian Tripel beer. However, there is something extra. Some wild yeast gives it a slight barnyard note. Not over the top strong, but nice and distinct. I hate wildly yeasted beers, but in this one it is so subtle, it really takes the beer to a next level. It gives it more character and is a perfect fit to the standard Tripel aromas. Really amazed by the good aromatic evolution it has gotten. The taste of the beer is nice. There are some very nice sweet malt notes, together with some sweetness from the yeast. The hops are mainly bitter. The wild yeast gives the beer that lovely tarty note. The result: a very well balanced beer. The palate of the beer is nice. It is a medium-full bodied beer that is rather smooth. The carbonation is medium-high, giving the beer some real nice fizz. The finish has some nice bitter herbal hops, but also spicy yeast and that nice tarty note. All in all, a very nice beer. I didn't expect it to be this nice.
3.6 Amber, hazy with a huge wild white head. A fruity nose, some spices and banana. Medium bitter with a fruit end, some alc ar the Finnish.
3.8 Interesting. Hazy amber with a large but evanescent bubbly head. The nose has clear Brettanomyces, with vinegar and mustard hints over the fruity, bready and champaignose aroma. Less spicy than most Tripels I've tried. In the mouth, medium body, quite fresh, fizzy carbonation. Medium acidity, medium-low sweetness. Pretty intense. Like the missing link between Tripels and some Flemish Sours.
2.9 33 cl. bottle @ home, served in a tulip glass, due date: 2024. Aroma: quite powerful aromas of champagne, slightly acidic, white grapes, white wine fermenting and slightly acidic, Brettanomyces, leather, hints of vinegar, spices and citrus. Appearance: gold to deep gold / light amber color with light beige head made of small to very big sized bubbles. Very high head thickness with high retention and low to medium Brussels' lacing. Low to medium haziness. A few columns of bubbles raising up from bottom of the glass. Taste: low sweetness, low bitterness, low to medium sourness. Flavors of champagne, slightly acidic wine, slightly acidic white grapes, leather, Brettanomyces, spices, citrus. Very well balanced, the flavors from the Brettanomyces wild yeast take the lead hiding the malts flavors. Mouthfeel: low to medium body, watery to very slightly oily texture, low to medium carbonation, medium long dry and slightly sour finish with low sourness and low bitterness and the same previously mentioned flavors. Alcohol is very well hidden by the sourness and only noticeable because of its mouth and throat warming. Astringency is not noticeable. Overall: good appearance althought the very big bubbles make the foam not very pretty. Brett flavors and aromas are not bad but hide all the other flavors and aromas. The tartness is not too strong and not unpleasant, making the beer very refreshing and quite drinkable. It would be better with less Brettnamoyces aromas and flavors and more layers of flavors. Not bad but I'm not a great fan of these Brett aromas and flavors yet.
Gott.
4.3 Bottle at the brewery. Clear orange with a whitish head. Citrus and wild yeast aroma. Taste is much the same with a hint of sweetness. Perfectly carbonated and dry. Excellent.
3.5 Met pje @ Jef 14/10/19
1.9 Hazy amber with a frothy but fast dissipating head. Fruity and yeasty smell. Not my favourite tripel, it reminds me of the smell of those blue pills they used to put into pissoirs. Strong carbonation.

3.6 33cl Bottle @ Saveur-Biere, Fretin, France. Hazy amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma is malt, fruits, yeast, brett. Taste is malt, sweet, citrus, apples, yeast, spices, brett, herbs, slightly tart. Medium body, average carbonation.
3.4 It pours clear amber; the head is off-white and mousse like. The aroma has notes of: horse blanket, pine resin, grapefruit, and lemon. The palate is medium bitter. The palate is medium-bodied, has medium carbonation, and a long bitter finish. Overall, it's an interesting hybrid between styles.
4.0 Color amarillo anaranjado, turbidez media. Tres dedos de espuma con excelente retención. Aroma a granja exagerado, heno y Brett.
3.4 6/26/19 North Little Rock, Ar - Springhill Wine & Spirits - 11.2 oz bottle. Hazy, medium orange pour, silky snow white head. Aroma is kind of boozy, not much else comes through. Flavor presents some bubble gum, some saffron spice, some pear fruitiness and a touch of wild sour funk. Mouthfeel has a nice spritz to it.
2016. Bijna helder amber/koperkleurig bier met een gebroken witte kraag Aroma: zuurtje, wilde gist, paardestal. Medium mondgevoeld. Smaak: zoetje, gistig, zuurtje, moutig, zachte hopbitterheid. Best genietbaar.
3.1 Hazy amber with an off-white head that dilapidates quickly. Sour aroma, apple. Taste is a little muggy, heavy, a little booze. Intense, complex, interesting.
3.2 Bottle. Pours a golden color with a small longlasting white head. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty bretty aroma. Fruity malty spicy yeasty flavor with weak bretty hints. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty bretty finish.
2.3 Bursztynowe, klarowne. Bardzo mocno nagazowane. Po odkapslowaniu wyleciał mi gejzer z butelki. Piana biała, bardzo obfita, szybko jednak opadła. Nos: przyprawy, drożdże, alkohol, karmel, słody, brzoskwinia Paszcza: mocno alkoholowe (czego nie lubię), wysoko nagazowane (szypiąco), niska słodycz, ciało pełne, pikantne, niska pijalność. Teraz rozumiem dlaczego dają to w małych butelkach - ledwo wypiłem.
3.9 A wonderfully unique beer. A great underlying tripel that is not too bitter. The brett lends a mild sourness, and great complementing funk. But what’s great is that all the belgian bubblegum yeast flavours finish it off. online belgian beer factory bottle
3.5 From the bottle. Orange with a frothy white head that turns creamy and lingers. Aroma is funky, full of apple vinegar, wood, yeast. Taste is dry and bitter with mild sour undertones. Warm at the back. Body is to the thicker side of medium, carbonation deceptively soft. Good.
3.5 330ml bottle, 2018. Pours dark orange gold with a large head. Aroma is Brett, caramel, orange and candy sugars. Taste is sweet with caramel to start. Light Brett finish with it stronger on the aftertaste.
Aroma a cereal blanco, hierbas aromáticas y bacterias Brett. Sabor intenso a cereal dulce, pan ligeramente tostado, frutas blancas fermentadas (ciruela, melocotón o uva) y toques de plátano, Brett, hierba y especias. Genial.
