De Koninck Triple d'Anvers

De Koninck Triple d'Anvers

Triple d’Anvers is the brewery’s homage to its native Antwerp. A full-bodied triple, which is easy to drink. It is a top-fermented beer, with a blonde to light amber colour. The fruity flavour and the subtle interaction between Pale malt and Caramel malt. No spices were added. A delicious symphony of malts and Saaz hops. Slightly sweet start striking a nice balance between hop-bitter and fruitiness. A fresh sparkling beer thanks to the refermentation in the bottle.

3.5 bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma bianca media grana media persistenza, color giallo oro limpido, al naso lieviti agrumi spezie frutta matura a pasta gialla miele note floreali esteri, in bocca marmellata di pesche miele note erbacee e coriandolo, corpo medio, alcool perfettamente bilanciato, carbonazione moderata, molto dolce con amaro moderato. Non proprio pulitissima ma piacevole e speziata. Buona. c. Famila Cesenatico 17.09.22
3.0 Tap @ Hilton hotel bar, Antwerp. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and heavy yeasty. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 110422
3.6 Beer with yellow color, clear aspect, medium bitterness, average carbonized, good volume of foam on top (bought a 33 cl bottle beer at "Carrefour Winkels", Antwerpen, BE #1297)(#32 BE)(#4 Antwerp).
3.4 Pours a cloudy, golden coloration with a medium, frothy head and slightly visible carbonation. Smells of doughy, biscuity malt and citrus hops, with hints of fruity esters also coming through. Taste is a decent balance of doughy, biscuity malt, slightly floral and citrussy hops, with notes of orange rind and lemongrass, as well as hints of fruity and spicy esters, with notes of apricot, pear and just a hint of clove coming through. Finishes with a light sweetness and some citrus hops and hints of apricot lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and lively carbonation. While this makes for a decent brew, the ester profile could be more pronounced for the style, which makes the balance seem a little off here, although malts and hops are balanced well-emough, with some sweet'ish malts and zesty hops, although not that much bitterness in the finish, while there is a certain musty touch to this that's not entirely pleasant. Overall, this makes for a decent Tripel, but with the greats being so easily and cheaply available, there is really no good reason to reach for something like this, in my opinion.
3.4 A golden beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has fruitness of perry, some earthyness. Taste has fruitness, light sweetness and spicyness, smooth. Medium bodied. Quite simple, but nothing wrong there.
3.8 Beautiful golden color and tight to medium head. Aromas are yeast, alcohol, bubblegum and some slight bbq hint. Rich bold flavour with some licorice notes. Very pleasant beer
4.1 What more needs to be added what is already in the description 😃 Let's call it a schauvinistic triple!
2.1 Bière pression bue au Bee Hiver à Montpellier. Robe blonde, mousse peu présente, bière ultra sucrée qui masque l'amertume.
3.8 Great classic. The way it should be. Slightly sweet and very full bodied, bursting with bubblegum phenols. Tram 3 antwerp
3.3 Bottled 330ml. -from Conad Sistiana. Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, lively carbonation, yeasty and mild spicy nose. Yeasty, fruity, spicy and light alcohol with mild caramel touch. Rather strong carbonation.
3.7 Small bottle from CBA, drunk at home on a humid August evening. Almost clear straw, some head, more lacing and a stream of rising carbonation. On the nose, citrus, lemongrass, soft spices, subtle cracked grains. In the mouth, light texture that hides the 8% alcohol amazingly well, a dash of unburnt sugar, complex flavours of herbs, citrus, wheat cereal, floral honey, creamy frothy carbonation into a mid bitter finish. Unusually light for a Tripel: almost a Belgian Blonde or a Wit, but supremely refreshing and elegant.
3.4 Aroma; spices, caramel, fermented apple, straw, syrup. Look; off white dense head, veiled golden body, frosted and spotty lacings. Taste; spicy caramel, fruit, yeast, straw, syrup, and long semi spiced finish to the malted side. Feel; good body and adequate co². Overall; unsurprisingly straight triple. [bottle, umea, 17aug]
3.4 Almost clear golden pour with white head; reasonable retention. Aroma is fruity, malty. Taste is on the sweet side, bit caramel, bit spicy also. Strong carbo. OK Belgian tripel.
1.5 Arrière goût désagréable
4.0 330 ml bottle, at Brasserie Monico, Antwerpen. ABV is 8%. Pale golden colour, moderate but lasting head, leaves a nice lacing. Typical triple aroma and flavour, with mild fruity and spicy notes, and pleasant floral notes of the Saaz hops. Maybe not so very special, but highly drinkable and enjoyable. Would willingly buy again.
3.5 Fris bier met zachte smaak
3.2 Dark golden to light orange, some haziness. About one finger of a quite dense white head, actually surprisingly low for a tripel. Quite quick to recede too, little lacing. Aroma has strong fruitiness (candied fruits, orange most prominent, and pear), with hints of spiciness and earthiness. Not very deep, but clean and quite intense. Taste notes follow the aroma closely, with a caramelish malt base that barely shows up. Quite high in sweetness, average bitterness. just the slightest hint of residual sugars, and so overall in good balance, with a semi-dry finish and aftertaste. Medium to dense bodied, average carbonation (surely lower than style average). Overall a quite easy mouthfeel for the style. Possibly this bottle had a bit less carbonation than usual. Overall a very average tripel, enjoyable enough but left me unimpressed.
3.8 Goede tripel, drinkt makkelijk weg
2.2 A not so lovely Tripel made in honour of a pretty lovely city. There isn’t much happening with this Beer but it doesn’t actually taste bad and could perhaps be defined by its husky character. However it is generally poor in quality with an underwhelming mouthfeel, no head, no lacing and little flavour. Read the full review here: https://beerwithus2.wordpress.com/2021/03/08/tripel-danvers/
3.3 bottle bb8/21 dorata leggero velato schiuma media non molto persistente Un po speziato un filo fruttato esteri secca non molto amaro lieve riscaldante
4.0 Leggera, di facile beva
3.2 Poured clear golden body thin lace. Aroma has yeasty notes alongside apricot and spice and light toffee malts. Taste is sweet fruit jelly initially mellowing to a dusty bitterness. Whatever the opposite of crispness is, this has it. Palate is medium bodied sticky feel average carbonation and a bitter finish. I agree with those who feel it drinks easily for a Tripel and equally those who find it rather uninspired. Given the rough handling by the delivery company I was relieved that a bottle fermenting beer did not erupt on opening but I was expecting some complexity in taste and texture whereas the most here is found in the scent.
3.9 Straw coloured and very clear. Slightly bitter with some hoppiness. Surprisingly easy to drink considering its pretty high strength.Like the style, like the beer.
3.4 Pours clear blonde with white head. Nose on grains and (light) banana. Medium body with a nice bitter/sweet balance. Nothing too special but a good one.
