3.5 On tap at the 14th Brugs Bier Festival, Brugge, Belgium. A golden coloured pour with a decent white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, yeasty, tropical fruit taste/aroma. Decent triple.
3.5 Sladna i začinska aroma.
3.5 Almost clear golden. Aroma is dried grass light toast popcorn light honey and toast with a whiff of raisin. Taste is rich hoppy grassy with a bitter backbone and a nice yeasty somewhat malty base. Incredibly hoppy and bitter finish. Interesting.
Attention, assez forte
3.7 Color naranja, turbia, casi opaca. Espuma blanca de tres dedos de espesor y excelente retención. Aroma medio intenso, levadura, flores, ligera piel de cítricos, heno y notas de frutas de hueso. Sabor intenso, levadura, plátano maduro, heno, cereal y notas de hierba fresca y especias, final medio largo de amargor belga alto y dulzor maltoso bajo, posgusto levemente seco y especiado, alcohol bien integrado. Textura semisedosa.
Appearance: pours unclear golden with ok soapy white head and lacing. aroma/taste: barley, bread, light wheat, fruits, light spices, brown sugar, light citrus, light alcohol and grassy notes. palette: strong yeasty aroma, average carbonation, medium to full body, medium sweetness, somewhat dominated by a notable bitterness, average duration, light dry finish and a watery texture. Overall: ok triple with a strong bitter twist
3.9 Jambe-de-Bois is a Belgian Tripel made to extremely high quality and pours a big head with excellent retention and lacing qualities. The notes of bread and yeast are no where near as strong as what they would be on a typical Belgian Tripel which makes it more palatable and easier to drink, making it ideal for first timers or those who aren’t a fan of the style for that reason. There are still plenty of other typical characteristics including banana, peppercorn, white pepper, orange, coriander and even some peach. An excellent Beer from an excellent brewery. 2.9 Best lekker smaak wat snel weg
3.8 Bottle of 33cl, in a Tulip glass; from the fridge. We're in frond of a golden beer with a wonderful foamy white head. Aroma and taste are first on the malt, orange side, then some notes of hops and spices come in.
4.6 amazing beer !
3.9 Large foamy white head stayed on a hazy gold body. Belgian yeast & sweet orange aroma. Medium bodied, sharp & clean in the back. Bitter, hoppy, orange, yeast & spiced tastes with a peppery finish. Just how a Tripel should be, clean, dry, bitter & lightly hopped. Excellent
3.7 Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy golden, large frothy white head. Aroma: Combination of malt, yeast, hop and citrus hints. Taste: Malty background, grain notes, nice hoppy foreground with citrus notes. Subtle yeasty notes. Herbal hints. Over moderate bitter, moderate to over moderate sweet. Not a standard Tripel, a lot more bitterness. Very nice.
2.8 De 32go. En copa Grimbergen. Jugando a Medieval.
3.3 Typowy belgijski smak,poprawnie,ok.
4.0 Hazy golden with a frothy head. Grainy, herbal smell with a little bubble gum. Fruity, bitter taste with a sweet edge and a piney aftertaste. A nice drink.
3.9 Hazy, light yellow color and a modest head. The smell is rather subtle and sweet - winegums and bananas, despite its bitter reputation. The taste is slightly bitter indeed, but doesn't match its description of being a "hoppy triple". Quite delicate actually. Subtle hoppy bitterness balanced with sweet and herbal flavors. Medium body. Slightly bitter lingering aftertaste. Nice.
2.8 At Max Place, pours yellow slightly rusty with a small, aroma of lemon, caramel, flavor is sweet with yeast, pepper, orange, peach, alcohol, medium bodied
3.7 Jummie
4.0 Bottle bought at Echarle Huevos, served at home in a trappist glass. Hazy golden colour, medium head and retention, good lacing. Aroma of peaches, hops, tangerines, spices. Medium to full body, creamy thick texture, good carbonation, spicy finish. Taste of citricis, hops, peaches, clove, bananas. Very good.
3.7 23-05-20 // 330ml bottle from Stumpf. Bit more modern tripel with a good hoppy bitterness. Rich dry, light funky belgian farmhouse body.
3.9 Bottle. Apricot, citrus, sugary notes, pronounced herbal hoppy touch with an underlined bitterness. Definitely better than expected, moreish, hoppy Belgian. Superb!
Aromat przyprawowy, słodowy, lekko landrynki, chmiel, siano, no i alkohol. Dobry, solidny tripel.
