De la Senne Stouterik

De la Senne Stouterik

Belgian Stout in the Irish style with 4.5% alc.: light, dry, and freshly bitter with complex roasted notes. The scent is pleasantly fragranced by the presence of an English aromatic hop particularly appreciated by connoisseurs.

3.4 Dark hazelnut tinged pour and a lively froth. Good retention. Aroma coffee beans and malt. Flavour; rich bitter malts and hints of coffee at the forefront. A nice rounded sweetness from the Barley on the pallete. Overall pleasing bitter as expected from a stout. Nice stout, paired with an Aberdeen Angus burger!
3.6 Large tight foamy tan head stayed on still black body. Looks amazing. Malt, coal & yeast aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a lively back. Malt, raisin, dark berries & chocolate tastes. Very tasty.
4.5 Really nice Belgian dry stout. Very moreish and easy to drink.
3.5 Bottle, from Beer52. Jet black, fluffy and sustained pale beige head and gentle condition. Muted fruity berries and roasted barley in the nose, delicate liquorice and a dry bitter roasted barley note in the mouth, with a trace of chocolate and a low spiciness. Finish is dry and bitter with roasted barley dominant and some muted fruity liquorice.
3.3 Rich looking frothy, coffee head. Caramel malts on the nose. Bitter coffee and malt on the palate. Lingering bitterness.
3.8 [33cl bottle from Beer52's Belgian box.] An opaque tawny coloured pour with a good inch of tight beige head; aroma of roasted malts and chocolate; dry in the mouth with a sharp bitterness from the deeply roasted malts; and a smooth creamy finish with traces of chocolate and coffee. A rather good stout.
3.3 Black with a creamy beige head ,coffee, roast and chocolate aroma, light to medium body roast malt, hint of chocolate, bitter and dry
3.6 Dark brown. Aroma of roasted coffee and hints of chocolate. Strong chocolate flavour with hints of roasted malt throughout. Good mouthfeel due to the large foamy head.
3.7 Bottle from an online shop, 5%, drunk while grilling a flank steak. Very dark brown / almost black, big light brown head. Coffee and cacao roasted nose with hints of brown sugar. Flavor has a lively character with some acidity, good balance, smooth light bitterness mixed with a hint of black malt astringency. Great powerful tasting stout.
4.0 Nice stout! Good, frothy head.
4.3 Great stout
4.1 Bottle from Beer 52. Chocolate, yeast and malts combine to give a heady aroma here. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a strong lasting foamy beige head and good lacing. In the mouth the texture is creamy with some slight initial sweetness before chocolate, coffee, raisins and roasted malts kick in. Finish is dry and bitter. This is what a stout should be like !
3.7 Pours black with a beige 2 finger beige head. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malt and raisin. Light mouthfeel. Taste is raisin and prunes up front leading into milk chocolate, then bitter dark chocolate, roasted malt and espresso. Long lasting dry bitter finish. Well made take on an Irish Stout.
2.9 Lockdown April 2021 - the day the racist old Duke died: hurrah! Small dark bottle, unfiltered, from Beer52. A robust, generous stout. Very dark and tangy, though some sweetness helps to make it palatable. Good body and depth - really feels more than 5%. This is a solid Guinness clone, though perhaps lacking in the subtleties you get from Guinness. Anyway, I kinda like the chocolate edges. Yes. OK, but perhaps a little dry for my taste. [2.9]
3.0 Bottle from Beer52. Dry stout pours dark with tan foamy head. Chocolate in the aroma. Roasted bitterness with raisins and chocolate.
3.0 Not a flavour I like but drinkable
2.9 Pours a dark colour with a nice creamy head Smells of malts choclate vanilla Taste na chocolate malty hit which soon goes
3.5 Pours super dark ruby brown, lively, big foamy head. Winter fruit, toffee and roasty bitterness too. A little thin perhaps but the flavours are good.
3.3 Bottle. Dry, bit on the light side, with some roasty coffee and malts. Stout flavours, ya see. Didn't quite stand out for me, but not bad.
2.8 A small bottle for Chinese New Year from Beer Ammo in Gong Guan. Aroma: malty. Appearance: opaque oxtail soup, very generous tan head. Palate: light-bodied and dry on the tongue, average carbonation; bitter, malty finish. Taste: medium bitter, malt loaf, coffee, iron. One of the drier stouts.
3.7 Stouterik isn’t the best Irish Dry Stout you can find, but it certainly isn’t the worst; far from it. There are mainly dry, roasted, bitter notes which dominate with the finish even providing a touch of charcoal, but notes of chocolate, raisins and dark berries provide just the right amount of sweetness. A good, reliable Belgian take of the classic Irish style. Read the full review here: www.beerwithus1.wordpress.com/2020/12/02/stouterik
3.2 Droite, honnête mais rien d'exceptionnel. Amertume franche et tranchante.
3.4 Bottle from Beermerchants.com. Dark pour with good head, quite dry, roasted malt, some hints of coffee. Nice beer.
3.5 Dark, almost black pour with a nice dense tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, burnt sugar, hints of coffee and dark chocolate, overripe fruit, Belgian yeast, black licorice and hazelnut. Taste is almost full on bitter, softly sweet. Body is quite thin with average carbonation. Mighty tasty, quite complex stout. Could be better if the body was fuller and a little bump up in ABV. Still very enjoyable.
3.8 Kremowy,fajna obfita piana,lekko palony,fajnie sie go pije,pijalny,najs.
3.7 Dark brown with a frothy head. Roasted smell of chocolate. In taste chocolate and coffee with a pronounced bitterness.
3.4 Belgische stout, 5% alcohol, neigt erg naar Guiness. Ik heb mijn stout graag wat steviger, richting Porter. Beetje suiker zorgt voor zoete smaak. Mis een beetje stevigheid.
