3.5 Classic one with a little bombardment of aromas. Fruits with berriea, some zest and some raisins. Hops mixed up with a malty background. Deep, strong, good.
3.0 Orange color, big foam size. Good beer, aroma and taste fit into the style.
3.8 Hoppy, malty and slightly floral aroma with hints of grass, citrus and orange marmalade. Bitter and fruity sweet taste with lots of malt, citrus and some fermenting peach. Quite bitter in the aftertaste.
3.5 Dark amber color with medium, white head that diminishes slowly, medium lacing. Malty and spices aroma with some flowers in the background. Similar taste, intense and long-lasting spice aftertaste. Medium body, slightly smooth texture and medium-light carbonation. Quite weird but enjoyable beer.
3.8 Color ambar, turbidez media, un dedo espuma retención baja. Aroma a caramelo y cítricos.
3.6 330ml bottle. Pours hazy amber with medium white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, bergamot, flaral. Medium body with soft carbonation. Taste is lite sweet, medium bitter. Nice one.
4.0 330 ml bottle from Beer Hawk, bottled 04/04/2018, bb 04/04/2020. Amber, hazy, off-white head. Nose - bergamot, bread, fresh almonds/peach kernels, grain after beer warms up. Taste - bitter, bergamot, almond. Very bitter, pleasant (for me) aftertaste (peach kernel).
3.7 Tap at Diagonal, Varna. Pours clear amber. Aroma is bergamot, herbs, citric aroma hops. Body is medium, strongly sweet and bitter, with a lively but background-y carbonation, a little bready, resin and caramel, juicy and fresh, not much bergamot left though. Lingering bitterness on the palate. Good.
4.0 On tap at de molen. Very balanced IPA, hint of bergamot which doesn't dominate the beer. Really bitter taste, but refreshing and citrusy. Very nice clean malt profile. Finishes with bergamot, almond; rather dry and very bitter. Lovely!
3.6 Bottle. Hopy aroma, bergamot, other citrus fruit, resin, floral notes. Tastes the same as aroma, medium bitter. Medium to full body, hopy bitter finish with bergamot notes. Good.
3.9 330ml bottle before a tasting at Za razBIRAchi, Ruse. Pours very slightly hazy with a fairly thin froth and mousse head, heavy lacing, no visible rising carbonation. Pale amber in colour. On the nose, complex citrus dominated by tangerine, kumquat and orange over a base of honey and caramel with some herbal notes. In the mouth, smooth fine carbonation, a thick rich creamy texture not unlike a porter or abbey, a slight yeastiness, some alcohol presence, flavours very similar to the aromas, medium sweetness leading to a long lingering finish. Overall, a strong IPA with overtones of Abbey Dubbel or Belgian Strong Ale. Rich, tasty and satisfying.
4.3 On tap at Jonas sorozo, Budapest. Darker bronze loads of head. Caramel biscuity aroma and piney hops. Really resiny ipa, heavy malt presence almost like rye. Some sips have really fruity pebbles action going on, not sure if its the hops or a funky yeast. Long bitter sticky palate.aybe the bergamot is there under the dank hops, but it's not dominant. Filling tasty great beer!
4.1 (Rate 26/05/18: 7-3-8-4-16 = 3.8) Bottle at home, pouring amber with a tan head. Aroma is hoppy, floral, light bergamot. Taste mild bitter and sweet, caramel, spicy, with a bitter aftertaste. Like this taste; nice one, although only mildly hoppy for an IPA. (Re-tate 22/07/23: Nice clear amber pour with creme coloured head, retaining well. Very hoppy aroma, resinous, bit fruity and earthy; but don't know about the bergamot. Taste is very nice, hoppy; moderate to medium bitter. really a nice IPA.
3.8 Bottle shared with Thompson. Pours amber and hazy with a small white head. Smell gives hops, grassy tones, some fruit and reminds me of tea. Taste gives the same hops and grass tones with a very nice carbonation. Overall, an extremely pleasant beer for warm, spring and summer days.
Finish dłuższy niż myslalem, z pryjemna goryczka i rozana slodycza. Przesztos
4.0 Bottle from Bitter Virtue. Definitely an IPA. Lots of hops and bitterness. Like drinking alcoholic Earl Grey tea 😲
3.5 Draft @ GBBF 2017. Pours a hazy orange color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy bergamot aroma. Fruity malty citrus hoppy bitter bergamot flavor. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy bitter bergamot finish.
3.7 330ml bottle pours deep amber with foaming off-white head. Aromas of tropical fruit, caramel malt, ginger and herbal characters. Tastes of toffee, barley malts, grapefruit, citrus hops, ginger bread, tea leaf and orange rind. Modest carbonation with oily mouthfeel. Long medium bitter herbal finish. Pretty great IPA with a lot of barley wine characteristics.
3.7 Dark coppery color, off white head with good retention, some laacing. Aromawith a high presence of resin hops, light caramelish hints. Flavor with a decent bitterness, caramel, orange zest and grapefruit. Strong bitterness in the final with astringent mouthfeel.
3.3 Fairly bitter, especially at first, but the berg' comes through later, along with herbs, fruits and pine. buttery MF. the bitterness lingers somewhat unpleasantly too. Not the best DM
3.7 330ml bottle at House of Belgium, Xiamen. Pours hazy golden orange with a white head. Aroma of pine with tropical fruit. Sweet taste. Bitter finish.
3.5 On tap. Cloudy deep amber color with white color. Aroma - Sweet, tropical, grapefruit, pine. Taste - Medium bitterness, medium sweetness, mango, malt, caramel, candies, resin.
3.4 Draught at Beer Room, Seoul. Dark amber color, white head. Bitter taste with citrus, hops, fruits, a bit of pine, resin, caramel and grass. Bitter finish with citrus, hops, pine, fruits, caramel and grass. Good IPA.
3.8 Bottle from de Caigny in Essen, Belgium. The beer has a little hazy amber color and pours a nice and stable creamy head, with good carbonation. The aroma is malty with clear notes of caramel, pines, grass, flowers, citrus, spices and tea. The taste is full bodied maltiness and begins with sweet caramel notes and changes into a pleasant hoppy bitterness with notes of citrus, pines and spices. The finish is dry and pleasantly bitter.
