3.5 bottle. Clear, perhaps slightly hazy golden colour, small white head. Reisny hop aroma. Full-bodied, solid sweet malty base with resiny-grassy hops. Bitter-sweet overall character. Good one, as expected.
3.2 330 ml bottle at home, poured into a stemmed glass. ABV 6.2% Deep golden orange colour on the body, one finger of snow white head with good retention. Light lacing left around the glass and a thin layer of foam on the beer’s surface. Light activity in the glass. Aroma of noble hops, cookies, toffee. Little bit of bread. Taste begins with mild sweetness, continues with grass, little hops, little toffee. Moderate bitterness on the aftertaste, along with some caramel. Medium body, average carbonation. Oily palate. Overall a good one, as far as taste and aroma are concerned, it reminded me more of an english bitter than a pilsner.
3.3 Ananas geelkleurig. geur fruitig/ Citrus. Smaak fruitig, citrus en honing. Samen met Bryan genuttigd.
3.4 Fles gedeeld met lachneger. Goudgeel biertje, weinig schuim. Aroma is honing.
3.5 I’m sure this is the best pilsner I ever had. It’s hoppy and a bit fruity, almost like an American pale ale. Very nice.
3.0 Gloudy dark orangy yellow, medium white head. Big yeast, bread, grassy, cooked vegetables, funky, mushrooms, yoghurt, sour cream, lemon. OK taste, not too sweet and with a nice bitter finish, but some sour notes I don’t like too much. Medium body and carbonation. Overall a bit too funky for me, but interesting and not unpleasant.
2.7 Lots of sediment at the bottom of the bottle and a careful pour is necessary. Hay amber with a thin, disappearing, white, non-lacy head. Lots of malt and caramel on the nose unlike any pils I’ve ever had. Toasted malt, grain and grass. Lots of sweetness. Medium oily frothy body with soft carbonation. Tastes of mild sweet malt with a medium bitter lasting finish. A clear fruity touch is noticeable and the overall presentation is kept mild by the yeast flavour. Leaves the mouth dry and sort of grassy.
3.4 Produced especially for Drinkerij t’Bierhuys in Woerden this is an extra hopped Bohemian lager. Pours a dark colour, taste is of liqourice and aniseed, finish is spicy
3.5 Orange hazy body with a decent yellow-ish creamy head. Smells happy and citrus, while it’s bitter and fruity in the mouth, with a bitter aftertaste. Could be a touch more sweet to balance better.
3.3 Bottle from the De Molen Beershop. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is very malty initially but died away fairly quickly. The flavour is medium to weak bitter with some malt, citrus fruit and a little yeast and liqourice on the palate and into the finish. If I had to drink a Pilsener, this would be one of the Pilsener’s i’d choose.
2.8 Bottled 18/07/2011. Pours hazy golden in colour, fizzy head subsides quickly. Sweet malt aromas and bready yeast in smell, little hops to the nose. more sweet malt on the tounge, light hop bitterness finishing stronger after swallowing. Not bad, probably coped a beating on the way over to oz. will try again.... next time.
3.2 Pour clear golden, with a small fizzy whte head. Aroma of hay, citrus, old hops and slight grass. - this is to me actually a quite good pils. The taste has some faint sweet notes upfront, with some bitterness to it. Somewhat watery body, with a rather fizzy carbonation.
3.5 Golden colour. White, very long-lasting head which leaves a permanent head. Fresh aroma (citrus and honey). Bittersweet, hoppy. Medium carbonation. Not like other pilsners. Very good and easy to drink.
3.6 6.2% bottle from Mam and Dad’s holiday Holland. This cloudy yellow-orange beer pours with a creamy white head. It has spicy orange, citrus and earthy flavours with a creamy peppery hop finish.
3.5 Beautiful large head. Fine, hoppy taste. Quite powerful for a pilsner. Overall a good beer.
2.5 Pours an orange beer with almost no head. Smells like a fruity pilsner. Tastes fruity. Citrus I guess. No carbo. Bitter aftertaste. Thin to medium body. Bit sticky texture. Odd beer. Dont really like it.
2.6 Not much in the smell, very light, some hops and malts. It has s golden color, with a medium heas, and is not clear. In the taste there is caramel and light bitter hops. Softly carbonated, medium body, is creamy in the mouth. In the aftertaste the bitter of the hops are coming trough, bit the caramel malts are still in the overhand. It is there a sweet pilsner with a dry sweet aftertaste, with not enough hops, to give it the richt amount of bitterness, i dont want another one.....
3.6 Dark amber, no head. Soft carbonation. Crispy and bitter beer. Easy drinkable. As a pilsener this is very good.
3.0 33cl, brewed 24/01/2012, bought 03/2013. 6,2%. Confused fruity and breadish aroma, quite full mouthfeel for a supposed pils, malt with golden ale qualities, ABV and an offish tang coming through. Atypical and rather underwhelming for De Molen.
3.4 Aroma: Bread, Light bitter Appearance: Amber, Pilsner lacing, cloudy Taste: Pilsnerbitter, bit of sweet, hint of humus sour, dry bitter finish.
3.5 Bärnsten-röd färgad med vitt skum. Doft: Honung & svart te, granat äpple, hjortron, mild bark doft, gräs. Smak: "Fruktig" (jäkligt flytande I know), vitt bröd, lätt pilsner bäska, blodapelsin. Lite barley wine light över den.
3.0 Pale golden colour, slightly muddy with a white, soapy and very long-lasting head which leaves a marked, prominent and permanent head. Well defined aromas to honey, raw grain, straw and some caramel and biscuit. Fresh aroma. Bittersweet mouthfeel with a tiny tart trace. Hoppier than expected. Medium carbonation, short development and low-bodied for an elegant and clean finish. Better if chilled. I liked it more than other pilsners, but I prefer other De Molen brews and other styles. Delicate and easy to drink.
2.8 33cl bottle fro de hopduvel in Gent light amber with almost no head, no carbonation. Rather sweet malts. *
3.3 Bottle on the 9.13 SNG-WAT train split with JF, 30/03/13, from Dranken Geers. Hazed golden amber with a thin off white head. Nose carries pale malt, light yeast, touch of banana, pinch of spice. Taste comprises orange, caramel, light hops, cittrus, yeast, pale malt. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, some bitter notes in a dry finish. Ok.
1.9 33cl bottle. It’s bottled 24/01/2012 and the alcohol is 6,2%. After reading couple of your comments it seams this is a completely different brew. It has no carbonation, almost no head. It’s hazy and orange. It has a strong tart aroma and flavour. Orange both in nose and taste. There is still a hop bite on the end. The texture is oily. Nothing to do with Bohemian Pils at all. More like a bad barley wine. I suspect this bottle turned just bad.

2.8 0,3 liter fles @home. Weer een spuit bier van de molen. Smaak is goed. Dit keer geen IPAish van de molen. Prima.
3.4 Draught at The Rover, Göteborg. Somewhat hazy golden beer with a nice lasting offwhite head. Malty fruity aroma, bready, citrus, pears, some carmael and grapes. Hoppy bready flavor, caramel, biscuits, floral notes, citrus, grapes, pear notes. Hoppy bitter finish with citrus, grass and some metal notes.
