3.8W aromacie torfowość, mocno palone nuty, przebija się lekka wędzonka, lekka kawa i gorzka czekolada. Aromat bardzo fajny. W smaku wysoka goryczka, lekko słodkie, kwasowość delikatna. Balans dobry dzięki czemu całkiem pijalne. Całkiem treściwe, ciut za mało ciała. Alkohol nieźle ukryty. Nie mój typ risa. Nie jest złe, ale lekkie rozczarowanie.
3.9refreshing dark beer with strong longlasting taste. Tastes of dark roasted toast and espresso. No foam. It has an underlying alcoholtaste which is good for the flavour.
4.0Bottle sample at a tasting, thanks Vova. Deep brown black with a beige head. Smell of peat, iodine. wood, ash, licorice. Sweet malt, iodine, ash, chocolate, caramel ash, a bit sour and salty. Full bodied, smooth ad oily. Very good.
3.7At a tasting, many thanks, smallish head, pitch black color, vinous, cereal aroma with some ash, bread, vinous aroma with some metal notes and ash coming through, strong sourness that mellows and blends in. Interesting, a bit cognac like.
3.9Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a nice small dark brown foamy head with light retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of peat notes with some light roasted malt with some light residual sugar notes also noticeable. Taste is a mix of peat malt notes with roasted malt with some black chocolate notes with light warming alcohol notes. Body is full but not as creamy as I was expecting. Nice presence of peat notes as I was expecting but body was slightly thinner than what I am used from this brewery.

4.1Alkohol: 11% obj.
Chmiele: Saaz, Columbus
Data butelkowania: 19.08.2015
Data waznosci: 19.08.2040
Kolor: Czarny jak smola, nieprzejrzysty.
Piana: Bezowa, ciemna, gesta jak budyn.
Ma ona drobna strukture i niestety dosc szybko opada w dól.
Po paru minutach szklo wyglada jak nienaruszone.
Na krawedziach nie ma sladów piany.
Zapach: Aromat jest wybitnie torfowy. Czuc smole, spalone kable, szpital, leki, jodyne
i podklady kolejowe. Whisky Bruichladdich daje konkretne torfowe nuty.
Przygrywa im odrobina karmelu, sporo palonych detalu, lukrecja
i mocna, gorzka czekolada.
Smak: W morde jeza! Alez tu jest torfu. Nafciarz móglby stanac w szranki z tym trunkiem. Mamy cala mase nut jodyny, papy, asfaltu, smoly i aptekarskich klimatów.
Ogrom nut wedzonki drzewnej, nuty palonych, ciemnych slodów oraz lasu.
Pod spodem nie brakuje karmelu
i gorzkiej czekolady. Przewijaja sie gdzie nie gdzie akcenty ciemnych owoców, ale ciezko im sie przebic przez torfowe posmaki.
Piwo jest geste, oleiste i rewelacyjnie przyswajalne.
Wysycenie: Niskie.
Podsumowanie:
Miazga i jeszcze raz miazga torfowa! Piwo doslownie kladzie na lopatki nutami spalonych kabli, smoly, papy, dymu z instalacji, szpitala, czy spalonej gumy. Na przelamanie dostajemy akcenty karmelu, dymnej wedzonki
i gorzkiej czekolady.
Piwo doskonale skrojone, konkretne, niebanalne, tylko dla Hop Headów lubiacych ostre klimaty ;)
3.4Bottle from Onestop Beer Shop. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, and peat malt.
4.1Dutch beer #1000: 0.33 l bottle from ’De Bierkoning’ as ’Hel & Verdoemenis Bruichladdich (peated) BA’ at 11.0% abv, bottled in August 2015, cellared for one-and-a-half years. Pitch black with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige layer. Sweetish, malty, moderately roasty, slightly peaty, a bit medicinal and relatively fruity aroma of dark chocolate, mocca, licorice, dark fruits, some peat and a touch of tar. Slightly sweetish, rather roasty-malty, moderately peaty, slightly medicinal and a bit fruity taste of dark chocolate, hard-roasted coffee, licorice, praline, some peat as well as tar and hints of dark fruits, followed by a rather long, roasty-bitter, earthy, fairly peaty and a bit warming finish. Medium to full body, oily mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Great Imperial Stout displaying a wide range of flavours which match very well and which are extremely well-balanced. The peat comes only really through in the finish, and the beer seems to have developed a nice fruity character over the years.
