3.70.33l bottle. Hopy aroma, malty notes, citrus fruit notes, light resin notes. Hazy golden to amber color, foamy head. Hopy and malty taste, citrus fruit, resin, light herbal notes, medium bitter. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation and hopy bitter finish. Good.
3.8Clear orange body with a medium to large white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, hops, grapefruit. Taste is sweet and medium bitter. Watery texture, average carbonation, light to medium body.
Medium koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: bitter. Licht en lekker.
3.6Hazy deep amber. Citrus, passion fruit, ripe mango, floral, resin, grassy, and herbal while malt with background notes of caramel and toffee.
Medium body with smooth mouthfeel and lively carbonation generated generous amount of frothy wave through the palate, finish is rather dry.
3.4Hazy golden copper body. Medium white head. Aroma of lemon, lime, lightly piney note. Flavours of lemon, lime, orange, lightly piney notes. Some bitterness. Medium citrusy and piney bitter finish. Good and simple.
3.7330ml bottle. Hazy amber with an enormous beige head, took about 5 mins to pour. Citrus and pine on the aroma, grapefruit. Taste is piney, resinous, citrus, grapefruit, slightly tropical, bitter. Medium body, soft carbonation. Taste felt a little muted compared to the aroma, possibly because it's 6 months old, but good enough.
3.7Bottle at home. Clear copper, rich cappuccino head. Peachy, easy malts, pink grapefruit, cream, chocolate and fresh hops. Carbonated, light sweet malts, tropical fruit (papaya, mango), cream, bitter finish with balsamic note. Nice low alcohol drink.
3.0Unfortunatly I let this expire last month, but even if not fresh it's not bad. The citrus bitterness is there. Very dry but thirst-quenching.
3.4Aromas citricos y frutales
Buen aspecto carbonatacion media poco persistente
3.1Aroma is sweet and sticky pineapple. Taste is quite sweet with a whole lot of lemon. Quite bitter with a bit of tartness.
3.6Pours amber orange with a big fluffy off white head.
Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, fresh. Hop galore.
Taste is a malty and hoppy sensation. Citrusy and fruity bitterness on top of a malty base.
Oily texture. Medium body and medium carbonation.
3.4From a 330ml bottle on 7/5/2017. Pours a slightly cloudy golden with a small to medium head. The nose features some crmel malt and fruit. The falvour follows suit - a decent caramel malt backbone, some citrus fruit sweetness, and decent dollop of balancing hops. Medium body with average to lively carbonation. A quite solid APA without anything standing out. Does taste bigger than 4.5% however.
3.24.5%ABV. APA.
Poured out amber. 12SRM.
Nose is sweet malt with a hint of citrus or pine, it’s so light, I can’t really tell.
Mouthfeel is soapy. Palate is sweet malt with honey grahams and elderflower honey. Hops are bitter melon, sap, light resin.
Finish is lingering and bitter and back of the throat with resin and sap. I’m Glad I did this as a blind tasting and was already wondering if there were Columbus hops in this one....and it turns out there were. So it’s that lingering bittter melon clinging to the back of my throat this whole time.
Overall, this was as sweet and bitter experience. A bit thin on body, which has been my experience with De Molen in general.
3.8Bottle.Bronze with a medium head.Floral flavours dominate at first then hops kick in.Final flavour is bitterness.A quite complex beer that is worth trying.
2.9.33l bottle with friends, aroma is sweet and fruity, sour hints aswell. appearance, cheap lable but nice beer, hazy amber colour and offwhite head. Bitter taste with sour hints. High carbonation, mouthfeel isnt pleasant
3.9Hazy amber, huge off-white head and lots of sticky lacing. Aroma of ripe fruits, orange peels and some tropical notes. Medium-light body, soft carbonation, tastes of caramel, ripe fruits, orange, pine and some spices. Very dry and bitter finish. A good ale.
3.6Tap@De Molen Takeover, Taphouse, Copenhagen (07/03/2017) - golden amber coloured pour with white head. Aroma and taste is a medley of tropical and citrus fruits, medium pale malts, some light caramel, grapefruit, peachy, lemon, grassy hoppy bitter finish.
3.6Geelbruin bier met witte kraag. Sinaasappelschil, hop, karamel. Bitter, licht zoet. Medium body en co2.
3.5Floral hops, sweet citrus fruits, bittersweet orange, bread and grain malts. Hazy brown, massive, off-white head. Light bitter. More bitter floral and grassy hops, bitter citrus fruits, grapefruit, soft carbonation, medium bodied, bitter and dry finish. Nice APA, well-balanced, intense and complex aroma. Bottle from Red Squirrel, High Wycombe.
2.6De Molen Amerikaans. 2014? Zapach: cytrusy. Ananas na 1. planie. Smak: słodkawy, silny ananas. Goryczka średnia. Finisz lekko wodnisty. Mało się dzieje poza ananasem, a finisz zawodzi.
3.5From tap at Taphouse. Clear golden colour with a white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, hops, fruit, peach, citrus and bitterness.
4.30,33cl bottle at Sorry Mom Liquor Store Athens.Aroma of hops, citrus, peach. Pours golden/amber.Full solid and lasting head. Easy going with slighlty bitter finish.
Good Stuff. Again. Direkt von dem DE MOLE Shop in Holland. 1,75€.
3.533 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg.
Hazy amber with a huge (yuge!) white head. Heavy citrus hops aroma. Fairly bitter taste and a massive body for a 4,5 ABV beer. very nice.
3.5Bottle. As "De Molen Amerikaans" - Amber in colour. Aromatic spicy hops. Citrus-fruity (oranges, grapefruit). Hoppy (grassy and piney hops, Amarillo). Malty base (toasty malts, caramel). Mildly sweet. Dry, bitter hoppy finish. Very drinkable. Nice beer. (2008)
3.1Bottled 330ml. -at Pivoteka Zagreb. Clear golden coloured, medium sized white head, fruity nose. Sweet malty, oranges and light grapefruit, some grassy hops with moderate bitterness in the finish. Bit watery but pleasant.
