3.8Black with thin head. Aroma and flavour have some dark malts. Almost savoury. Very dry finish. Rounded bitterness.
3.82017 bottle. Black with a thin, creamy, beige head. Coffee and coffee grounds aroma. Lots of licorice underneath. Taste is bittersweet, full of coffee and fudge. Thick body, moderate carbonation. Tasty.
0.6Strange experience. Absolutely no head what so ever, regardless of how aggressively I poured. No carbonation at all either. Looks like a flat coke and sort of tastes like it too to begin with: very sweet, almost cloying, and then a hint of coffee. Very strange for an imperial stout. I gather that something was wrong with my bottle.
3.4Bottle. Black body with fine beige head. Aroma has dark malt, but most of all coffee, lots of coffee. Flavor is sweet malt, boozy alcohol and way out of balance much coffee. Fine body with an aftertaste of coffee and booze. Drinkable but not great.
4.0330ml bottle. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of sweet coffee, chocolate. Taste of sweet creamy coffee, chocolate, roast malt, caramel. Medium body, smooth.
3.7Bottle 33cl at home, best before 03-01-22, 10%. Pours dark with a small white head, low carbonation. Aroma is cold coffee and caramel . Taste is toffee, coffee, praline and sweet malt then going to bitter chocolate. Nice, the alcohol is not overpowering. A bit too sugary for me maybe
3.80.33 l bottle from 'Rudat', bottled in May 2017, cellared for one-and-a-half years. Clear, very dark reddish brown to black with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of lots of coffee, dark chocolate, some licorice and a touch of hazelnut. Quite sweet, malty, gently roasty taste of lots of coffee, dark chocolate, some licorice, a touch of hazelnut and hints of vanilla, followed by a medium long, gently roasty-bitter, earthy finish with massive coffee. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty coffee bomb, not really well-balanced but great if you like coffee flavours.
3.5Courtesy of Sergey; bottled 22/05/17, bb 22/05/22, almost 2 years old
Dark but not quite black, with small brownish head. The coffee aroma is evident, not too bad, but obviously a bit earthy. Moderately sweet, but without body structure; some dark caramel flavour, not s chocolatey as we are used with de Molen, not very rich, but still quite good, with evident coffee, and a mild earthy touch.
Good, but not my favourite from the brewery.
3.6330ml bottle from Firefly at Alex's. Packaged on 2017-05-22.
Appearence: dark brown with a beige head
Aroma: moderately sweet, lots of coffee with green pepper notes, roasted malt
Taste: similar
Overall: it's ok
4.0Very nice would drink again. Not obviously as strong as it is. Slips down like a greased rat.
4.0Bottle. Color: Black, beige head. Aroma: Coffee, mocha, boozy hints. Taste: Coffee, mocha, dark roasted malt. Over medium body, soft carbonation. Light boozy hints, but alcohol is well hidden. Nice smooth and creamy Coffee Stout. Wish that all my coffee would taste like this… :)
3.0Color is black, total darkness without foam. Aroma is sweety with coffee and toffee notes. Taste is sweet with strong coffee bitterness in aftertaste.
3.7Color negro, opaca.
4.0Black with a tiny beige head. Malty, caramely aroma, notes of dried fruit. Flavour has caramel, chocolate and roasted malt. Some coffee too, light licorice notes. Finishes deep malty with good alc warmth. Mouthfeel is light, quite drinkable overall.
3.7330ml bottle pours almost black with fine beige ring around the rim of the glass. Aromas of espresso, dark cocoa and black olive. Tastes of ground coffee, dark fruit, black forest cake, black chocolate, brown sugar and Tia Maria liqueur. Low carbonation and full bodied. Long finish with plenty of residual sugar and some mild espresso bitterness. Solid powerful coffee stout.

Good pour; pretty much opaque black body, holds a tan cappuccino sort of head.
Big whiff of roasty coffee bean on the nose, some toastiness & dark caramel too with hint of chocolate, but mostly coffee.
Plenty of oomph to it, smooth, slightly sweet yet dry finish, holds on for a good while on the finish.
Hard hitting intense coffee on the body - like a sweetened strong espresso. Hints of roasted nuts, earthy spice & dark caramels in the mix. Mild sort of finish, low bitterness, smooth.
Really nice - stacks of flavour but well rounded and balanced and delicious.
5.002-10-2018; bottle; at home (bought online at www.drankgigant.nl, Oost-Souburg, The Netherlands).
The looks of the beer are exactly like expected. A deep and dark brew. The beer seems pitch black at first, but actual it has a lovely deep dark ruby red glow. Especially in the light this glow can be seen. Nice. On top of the beer some brown coloured foam is formed. Not to much though and foam retention is low. Hardly a drape is left after a while. Looks just like a perfect Stout should look like.
The smell of the beer is delicious. It has just the aromas that I'd expect from a Stout called Mout & Mocca. The beer is filled with delicious bittersweet toasted malts, caramel, some chocolate and truly loads and loads of coffee. The bittersweet mocha aromas with that nice sour note of coffee. Delicious. It is intense, rich, dark and lovely. There is some dried fruit there in the back and some earthy herbal hops, although the malts and coffee aromas are defiantly the most rich aromas. One of the best mocha beers I've had in a long while. Nice, would love to have more of this.
The taste of the beer is perfect. Nice sweet malts, with loads of toasty bitterness, coffee bittersweet with some sour notes and hops bitters. Overall, the bitterness is stronger that the sweetness, but this really suits the beer and gives it some power. Lovely balanced.
The palate is great. Full body, silky smooth and a bit creamy and medium low carbonate. Actually, carbonation is low, but some alcohol tingle gives the sensation of carbonation. The finish of the beer is delicious. Filled with mocha, coffee, some chocolate and toasted malts, and in the distance some of these nice dried fruits followed by some nice hop bitterness. Perfect brew. Very happy with it.
3.7Butelkowane 13.01.2016, wersja 11.4 %.
4.0Bottle. Black colour, small beige head. Aroma of freshly ground coffee, some nutty coffee, a bit earthy, nuts, dark chocolate, dark malt, light caramel. Taste is medium+ sweet, medium bitter, nutty and earthy coffee, nuts, chocolate, some cocoa and caramel. Bitter coffee finish. Medium to full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Very good, tasty coffee RIS.
4.033 cl fles. EBC 240. EBU 81. Zwart bier met licht bruin schuim. Geur: geroosterde mout, melkchocolade, vanille, koffie. Smaak: koffie, geroosterde mout, alcoholisch, bitterzoet, ietwat noterig. Volmondig. Medium koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: zoet, alcoholisch, wat kleverig.
3.9Dark brown color. Thin, beige head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate and roasted malt. Sweet taste balanced by strong, roasted bitterness.
4.0On tapped. Pours in black colour with small short living head. Strong aroma of coffee and dark chocolate. Medium sweet, medium bitter, no sourness. Full body, very thick, long lasting roasted coffee aftertaste.
Prost!
4.1Bottle from SmagFørst, trøjborg. Black color with a tan head. Lots of coffee and dark berries aswell. I liked this beer alot
3.9Pours in a snifter glass. Black colour, almost no head, no retention and minimum lace.
Aroma of dark fruits, chocolalte, coffee, licorice.
MEdium body, creamy palate, no carbonation. Long dry finish.
Taste of dred fruits, coffee, chocolate, licorice.
To me, just a good Imperial Stout, bur far from the best I've had.
