3.6Bottle shared at a tasting at Max’s place. Bottled 6/24/13. Cloudy orange. Great aroma of malt, bourbon, vanilla, cookies, caramel, and fruity esters. Sweet flavor with malt, strong fruitiness, a mild tart note, vanilla, wood, caramel, a chocolate note, a bit of bitterish stale hops, and a salty note. Medium-bodied. Very nice.
3.6Botrle. Teku. Deep amber/light brown, little hazy with tiny, light brown head. Poor head retention and lacing. At first nice, vanilla and barrel notes - just like good, old bourbon. In the second raw nice aromas - mainly caramel, little toffee. Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, finish is semi-sweet, little alcohol warming. In overall medium malty packed barley wine with lots of bourbon aromas.

Odczucie: Średnie wysycenie, ciało wysokie.
Smak: Intensywnie słodkie, decha, śliwka, alkohol wyczuwalny, truskawki, jabłka. Goryczka niska.

3.8Botella 33 cl tomada en el momento en Oviedo 17..10..2015. (r220).
3.9Bottle from Cave a Bulles. Pours light copper with no head. Aroma of warm brown sugar. Neaar full bodied. Flavor is brown sugar, There’s something like dried stone fruits, and there is a subtle bourbon aspect. Not really getting any oak astringency tho. Fruit and bourbon seem to dominate the finish. Quite a nice sipper.

3.4Aroma of wood, whisky and vinegar. It smells not like a beer, it is somewhat sweet and tart. Dark amber colour with white not tall head. Taste is also more whisky than beer. It is tart, booze, some sweet with bitter finish. Overall it is not a regular beer, I think you can hate it or love it. I won’t repeat it, but it is worth a try as a something different.
