De Molen Tsarina Esra Imperial Porter

De Molen Tsarina Esra Imperial Porter

OG 1108, FG 1026, Color 388.7 EBC, Chinook and Saaz hops. Bitterness 93.5 EBU.

Stronger version of a Baltic Porter. Comparable with an Imperial Stout but without the heavily roasted malt character. This created a soft beer with strong hops in the finish.

4.5 Color negro, opaca.
4.4 light dark chocolate flavor it is milky and with a rum like taste mainly in the background. Vanilla in evidence the beer is complex and smooth. light head bottle from Dec 2015. Easy hop character. like a plum and rice pudding mix with the raisin. Will not tell where I got these bottles for $2.99 each. YEAH!!!
4.9 Buonissima, dolce e ricca. Perfetta come birra da meditazione
3.9 It pours black with a brown creamy head. It has a very creamy texture overall. There are flavors of chocolate and roast. It has smooth alcohol warming with moderate bitterness.
4.6 Beatiful dark color and very smooth mouthfeel. Fantastic aroma of coffee, cocoa and chocolate. Taste is sweet with a slightly bitter finish. Lots of brilliant notes from coffee, vanilla, honey and cocoa. The balance in this beer is absolutely perfect, a really nice beer.
3.8 Smooth.chocolate,creamy.nothing to complain about.alcohol is hidden.it is a good porter,but I prefer dryer 'stouts'.
4.4 This beer blow my mind when i open it.. One massive and awesome aroma comes in my space in secs.. The beer has incredible and very smooth mouthfeel and has sweet taste with bitter finish.. The taste is really amazing and very pleasand. Many chocolate, coffe, caramel and chocolate syrup there.. Maybe some honey too. i cant be sure on that. The finish is ok and the carboration is soft.. Lastly you cant feel the high amount of alcohol inside.. Overall one of the best beers i have drink in my life.. This beer is so good.
3.6 Aroma of dried fruits, liquorice, chocolate, wood, caramel, coffee and hints of hay and spy sauce. Almost black with a tan head. Medium to heavy sweet and medium + bitter. Medium to full body with average carbonation. Dry and bitter finish. Overall a very nice, warming Imperial Porter.
3.4 Provided to me by friend Benzai, I am now ready for a rating of Tsarina Esra. This 33 cl bottle is being poured into a Belgian snifter, thanks Straffe Hendrik. A cola brown/black in color with little or no head (eggshell white, what there is), I am ready for the scent. And that is rather decent, chocolate, crackers and some kind of dark fruit. I have a drink, the chocolate again, slightly smoky, prunes and Christmas candy, fairly dry too. Okay, I am not over the top with it.
4.3 0,33l bottle. Pours black with beige head. Aroma of roast, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, cherry, hops. Taste is strong, roast, chocolate, vanilla, coffee, licorice, quite hoppy. Dry, bitter hoppy finish.
4.2 Wow. Øl fra absolut øverste hylde. Masser af fylde og velsmag. Særdeles indbydende aroma.
2.8 Bottle, early 2018. Cherry chocolate, light roast, hint of vanilla, molasses, vinous notes. Sweetish with a dry finish. Complex aroma composition somewhat ruined by an unpleasant booziness.
4.0 Dark brown creamy thick head. Aromas wood, aged caramel, slight olive, toffee, chocolate, slight butter scotch, slight whiskey. Flavors medium wood, caramel aged, toffee, slight olive, slight smoke, slight butterscotch, slight whiskey but faint. Medium sweet like smoky finish medium bitter. Really good Porter here. Top notch.
3.8 Botella @Cimmeria, Oviedo. 31/10/2019 Color negro opaco pequeña corona de espuma beige, aromas tostados sabor tostados notas ahumadas regaliz cuerpo denso.
3.5 Night cap...what else. Impy porter? Waves of thick coffee rinsed chocolate; palate weight is truly King Kong Bundy-esque. Bitter and...... slightly funky chocolate late. Apparently near 100 IBU lurking in this beer. FIIKW!
Sve skupa prekrasno :)
3.7 Dark brown body with a few beige bubbles pretending to be a head. Strong aroma of dark chocolate, bark, leather, overripe fruits, port wine, dark roasted malt, and a touch of liquorice. Strong flavour of port wine (I guess I'm trying to say that this baby is heavily oxidised), dark chocolate, leather, dark caramel, and dark roasted malt. Very well integrated alcohol. Full body, oily texture, close to no carbonation. A nice one, but the oxidation is a bit too obvious, and the mouthfeel is a bit too flat. [33 cl bottle, enjoyed 4 years after bottling, from Vinmonopolet Ullevål, Oslo]
4.3 Thuis uit een flesje. Donkerbruin, bijna zwart. Heerlijk!
3.9 Bottle from Willems in Grobbendonk. Pours ink black, headless, decently thick. Aroma: decent amount of roast op front, quickly overtaken barleywine-like, somewhat vinous, dried plums, a little chocolate, licorise, light hoppy, only very gently lactose sweetness, light alcoholic mist. Taste again distinctly barley-wine like with it's tasty, well balanced fruity malts and hops. After a while though the sweetness becomes more dominant, a little sticky lactose or yeasty, light roast, licorise and chocolate ever present in the back, fine, hoppy , astringent Mf. Endimpression a bit too sweet and sticky-lactose, killing the elegance of the roast, as well as the fruity malts and hops a bit. Mayne abit too soft tasting for such a highly acclaimed brew but very goo, just not as excellent as expected for me.

4.4 Fles 33cl thuis. 10,1%, EBU 93. Bottled 7-11-18. Licht boozy, zacht, zoetig, pruim, donker fruit, laurier, chocolade, roasted malts, bitters. Redelijk complex. (30-5-2019).
4.2 330ml bottle. Bottled 08/02/2016, a bit over 3 years old. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of dried fruits, chocolate, roast malts. Taste is rich, sweet, chocolatey, dried fruits, dark fruits, caramel, roast malts, slightly warming finish. Medium-full body, soft carbonation, very smooth.
4.4 De molen Tsarina Esra Imperial Porter, the more full taste of a Imperial Stout, combined with the more bitter roasted taste of a Porter, perfectly balanced. The taste of alcohol is much subdued.
4.2 Bottle 33cl at Depo Food Court, Moscow. Pours black with medium creme head. Aroma is sweet, with slight notes of hops and cone forest. Medium carbonation. Typical porter taste, medium-soft, slightly bitter, but potent (approx .5hr) & pleasant aftertaste. VERY decent thing IMO
4.3 Pours very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, raisins, plums, roasted malts, a bit of licorice and caramel. Taste is medium sweet and has an average bitter, pure chocolate, raisins, plums, some licorice and a long and bitter finish. Medium to full body, oily texture, soft to average carbonation. Very good beer!
5.0 One of the best and most balanced imperial stout I’ve ever had. Very smooth and round, creamy yet not sweet. Vanilla and coffee aromas. Alcohol Is discreet.
4.5 Dark colour, hints of ruby. Coffee, dark fruits smell. Smokey, lingering taste, that mellows as you settle into the drink. Sweet aniseed and warm taste. Hints of smokey cheese? A great, heavy treat.
3.6 Bottle at Echarle Huevos. Pours a black colour, medium head with long retention, compact lacing. Aroma of dried fruits, chocolate, vanilla, liquor. Full body, creamy dense texture, good carbonation. Sweet finish. Taste is similar to the aroma. Alcohol is not much noticeable. Good.
