Origineel & Proefglas groot
3.3It's a decent IPA. It has some nice hops and a good bitter aftertaste. I rather enjoyed it.
2.9Bottle at home from Amsterdam a hazy golden beer some orange aroma flavour is orange peel with buttery vegetable flavour quite bland and a bit soapy
3.2Bottle from an Albert Heijn in Ghent. Pours hazy dark yellow/ochre with a small, foamy, white head. The aroma contains hops, grass, hay, lots of yeast, malt, citrus, bread and (cooked) vegetable. It tastes medium to heavy bitter with a rather short finish, almost astringent, bit dry. Medium body, slick texture, lively carbonation; bordering on soapy but not yet there, luckily. Not exactly an explosion of taste; average at best.
3.2Off white thin head soon left a cover on an opaque golden orange coloured, still body.
Minimal aroma - I’ve got a blocked nose so lacking on the smells.
Medium bodied with a nice carbonated feel over the tongue. Clean & dry on the aft.
Bitter/Sweet orange, spicy & tangerine with a hoppy finish
3.4330ml bottle at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Very fruity aroma of orange and citrus. Pine malty taste. Bitter finish.
3.8F: huge, egg-white, good retention.
C: pale gold/gold, hazy with yeasty veils.
A: orange, bit of tangerine, tropical fruits, bit of buttery.
T: fresh orange juice, grapefruit, different tropical fruits, tangerine, bit of gooseberries, medium body, medium carbonation, very good balanced, tasty, really enjoyed, fresh mouthfeel, 33cl bottle from Albert Heijn Duinenwater supermarket in Knokke.
2.4Uit fles thuis. Matig.
4.1Had this at Pllek (a shipping container bar) in Amsterdam. Very good IPA. Slightly floral.
2.6Frisch vom Hahn im Brauereipub getrunken. Recht kantig. Die Fruchtnoten kommen nicht richtig durch.
3.2Tap. Pours very hazy dirty orange, small off white head, decent lacing. Aroma of pine, a bit of dishwater, grass. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter, piney. Medium body, lingering bitterness. Eh
3.3Bottle a golden yellow colored beer with a white head aroma malts citrus fruits yeast spicy and bitter hops flavor malts citrus fruits grapefruits spicy and bitter hops
2.8Bottle. Good and bitter and fruity. Not a lot of body. A bit dark for a pale ale.
3.5Pours pale amber with small white head. Nose is slightly hoppy. Aromas are citrus, weedy and resinous hops. Low carbonation, light body. Long bitter finish.
3.5On tap at Proeflokaal de Prael, Amsterdam. Pours hazy orange, nice white head, Fruity, citrus, moderate hoppiness, sweetish, caramel, bitter finish. Soft carbonation. Medium bodied.
3.6Bottle from Mam and Dad’s Holiday, Netherlands. Hazy straw coloured with a thick white head. It has a peppery hop and slight citrus flavour followed by an earthy, floral fruity finish. Good.
3.7Tap @ Cafe de Stoof
Orange colour with a white sticky head. Fruity, good bitterness, joyful.
3.2Bottle @cgarvieuk. April Not So Fools Tasting 2014 [Rating Backlog April 2014] Pours golden, slight white head. Nose is quite bland, slight grapefruit and lemon, also slight zesty fruits. Taste is along the same lines fruity, toffee and malty, slight fruits.
3.7On tap@: pour golden color, slightly haze, with foamy white head. Aroma-flavor: biscuit like malt backbone, supported with intense hop note, which takes on citruses, some tropical fruits like papaya, mango...finish is dry, bitter, hop bitterness is high but pretty balanced, body is moderate medium, texture soft, carbonation is moderate medium.
3.333 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Plus Culemborg.
Hazy amber with a white head.Malty fruity aroma. Taste is medium sweet. Nice long finish, more focusing on the malts than on the hops. Nice solid beer.
3.8hazy golden to orange colour, medium sized off-white head; aroma of tropical fruits, grape peel, slight apricot, caramel yeasty and floral notes; taste is rather malty and sweet than hop dominant with tons of sweet fruitiness (grape, apricot notes, tropical fruits, maybe sweet apple, too), honey, caramel orange zest oils and yeasty notes; not a typical IPA, but still I liked it
3.3Hazy amber beer with a large head. Little aroma. Reasonable to good mouthfeel, bitterfresh taste. A bit stannic finish and aftertaste, but if you drink quickly enough that is not a problem.
3.6Good. Clean cut IPA that will please most punters. Modern style but not stupidly so. Herbs and nettles show really well and the malts are well and truly in the background. Sharp and crisp beer.
3.5Aroma:
Medium aroma of malts, caramel, bread, orange, hops and citrus.
Appearance:
Turbid/opaque golden/amber beer with heavy yeast and with a slight/medium off-white head.
Taste/Palate:
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel and orange; ends slightly bitter and dry with bread, hops and citrus.
Overall:
This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. The huge amount of yeast washes all other flavours away. An okay beer, just bit too balanced and earthy.
3.0Brewer looks for red fruity hops, Simcoe, Citra, Fuggles. Bit yeasty, metallic hint, sharp bitterness overwhelms the fruit a bit.
0,33l Flasche vom Albert Heijn in Amsterdam. Ca.2€.
Goede koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: bitter, lichtzoetig, fruitig. Drinkt lekker weg. Een IPA doordrinker!
