APPEARANCE: light clouded blond beer, small unstable white head.
NOSE: little oxidated, sweet, alcohol.
TASTE: oxidated, not that good in general...
This is an aged sample, but bought it like this in the shop and not expired, so the rating remains like this.
4.0Little bit comparable with Tripel Karmeliet, i really enjoyed this beer!
3.3330ml bottle, expired on july 2013. Golden, clear, small off-white head disappearing. Nose: honey, malts, very subtile nose, but not outspoken. . Taste is honey, bitter sweet, malts. sweet parts takes over rather quickly. Tried this one head to head with an Antiek blond that matured in mid 2011. Color was dark golden, with the nose turned dusty, muff, iron, earthy. and the taste was again muff, even a touch of metallic. conclusion aging does not help this beer.
