Unclear, orange colored, small white head. Some light pale malt, wheat, strong lemony notes, fruity, some aceto and bit of funk, moderate sourness, bit bitterness, dry finish. Medium bodied, average carbonation, oily.
Bottle, 375 ml, shared with Max and kajser27. Cloudy orange, white head. Barnyard, bit citric, funk, quite carbonated. Moderate sourness. Dry. Medium bodied.
Zapach średnio intensywny, cytryny, siano, stajnia, ziemia. Kolor złoty, opalizujące. Piana średnio obfita, drobna, szybko znika. W smaku lekka słodycz, lekka kwaśność, średnia pełnia, słód, cytryny, stajnia, skóra, ziemia, zioła, drewno. Goryczka niska, wysycenie wysokie.
Bottle from Phil. Pours clear orange some head minimal lacing. Notes of peach, vinegar, vinuous. Taste light/med tart light sweet. Medium sticky body medium carbonation some lasting acidic bite.
37.5 cl bottle at home, bought at De Roemer. Appearance: hazy golden with medium sized white head. Aroma: brett, lemonade, lemonade, cellar, some horseblanket. Taste: medium sweetness, medium bitterness and pretty high tartness. Wry in the finish as well. Notes of brett, lemon, tannins, citrus, horseblanket and some latex. Palate: medium bodied, watery texture and lively carbonation. It feels a bit weak though. Overall: as the description says: a specific taste. Definitely different from other geuzes, and maybe not in a good way. It misses some complexity and smoothness compared to other geuzes, combined with a rather weak or flat mouthfeel. Not bad, but not a favorite of mine either.
[2017] 375ml bottle. Slightly hazy golden with foamy white head. Flavors are oak, apple, lemon zest and funk with earthy and herbal notes. Light lactic acidity. Light to medium body, moderate to good carbonation, slick texture.
750ml bottle. Pours golden yellow colour. Medium size white head. Funk, notes of barnyard, spicy notes, rather medium acidity, vinegar, notes of apples, hints of vanilla in the aroma. Funk, bitterness, moderate acidity, oaky notes, notes of dried apples in the taste. Quite long aftertaste. Acidity and apples, vinegary notes. Dry finish. Quite good, complex geuze.
Bouteille datée de mai 2017, bue après 16 mois. Robe dorée légèrement trouble avec un mince col de mousse. Arômes de bois, pomme verte, lambics plus ou moins acides, nectarine, abricot. En bouche, lambics boisés, pomme verte, abricot, légère acidité citrique. Texture huileuse et corps mince.
Bottle: Poured clear light golden color lambic with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light funky notes with some subtle oak note is pleasant. Taste is a good mix of light funky notes, minimal residual sugar some oak with light green apple notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Not the most complex lambic but satisfying and enjoyable overall.

W aromacie głównie wiejsko, dziko, niska owocowość, pestka, bardzo przyjemnie choć mało finezyjnie. W smaku wytrawnie, dziko, wiejsko, skórzanie, mało owocowo, raczej niska kwaskowość. W duchu cuvee rene. Nie do końca mój faworyt.
Bottle @ home. Hazy amber colour, white foam. Citrussy, grassy, wet wood, barnyard. Nice and refreshing gueuze.
Butelka. W aromacie sporo siana, funku, lekko skóra, ziemia. Smak ziemisty, wytrawny, zbalansowany. Przyjemne geuze choć bez szaleństwa.
Fajne, dzikie, lekka kwaśność, trochę owocowe, bardzo ułożone, może nawet za grzeczne piwo
Bb 2037. Nice white foamy head, all dissipates eventually. Hazy dark yella. Funky dusty farmy vinegar aroma. Quite bitter at first, then the funk and wood barrel come through. Finish is bitter but a little fruitiness going on as well. Nice and refreshing.
Pours cloudy golden amber with fairly tall white head that drops quickly. Aroma of grass, cracked garden branches, grapes, light apples, citrus. Taste is medium tart, mildly funky with grass and hay notes. Carbonation gets a bit in the way. Body is otherwise light and smooth.
0.375 l bottle from 'Belgiuminabox.com', bottled in May 2015, about two-and-a-half years old. Clear, golden amber with a massive, foamy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sourish, pretty funky, woody and slightly fruity aroma of hay, horseblanket, lemon, oak and some gooseberry. Moderately sour, funky, dry, quite fruity and slightly dusty taste of lemon, gooseberry, oak, horseblanket, leather and traces of tobacco, followed by a medium long, moderately tart, very dry, woody and funky finish. Medium body, quite astringent and fairly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Another greatly balanced Geuze by Boon, very dry but not too acidic, good!

Bottle shared at beeroda tasting session. Light horseblanket taste. Taste is low horseblanket, some bitterness. A little bit to bitter for me as a geuze.

A slightly hazy deep golden beer with a mid-sized most good white head. Aroma of tart fruits, yellow fruits, herbal fruits, wood. taste of sour yellow fruits, yeast, wood, long tart finish.

Bottle @ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are stable, brett, leather, fruits and malt. Nice sour finish.
